We love the Waynebrook!

Well I booked a two day stay at the hotel, the beds are horrible my body is acting today. The toilet wouldn't stop running the first night, they did make accommodations and put us in a different room. And the shower was to small in the first room. But overall the price was feasible, just need upgrades.

Over all our stay was fine. But there were only a couple of things that kept my rating down slightly.
First there was no hot water. To be fair we were called prior to check-in to be forewarned there was an issue, and given the option cancel the reservation. But since it was only for one night we dealt with it.
Second, the pillows on the bed were very small, about half the size of a normal pillow. So even though the bed was comfortable, the pillows made it difficult to sleep.
Lastly there were no tissues in the room, and had to blow my nose in toilet paper. Which BTW there was no spare roll.
As I said, for the most part it's a very nice place to stay, just a couple little things that needed to be addressed.

had a deluxe king size bed and room, the bathroom was tiny, the shower stall was barely big enough for me to get in. Had a hard time going to sleep because of a barking dog in the building. got woken up at 4:45 in the morning by a barking dog in the building. not a pleasant stay at all.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel for one night with our pet lab. We had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious. The bathroom was neat and clean. The restaurant downstairs was very good. There was entertainment in the lower level of the hotel that was superb. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite places to stay in the area. Beautiful hotel with nice restaurant and fun bar.

nice rooms but old carpet

If you like history and an unusual hotel experience this might be the place for you. It kind of felt like staying at grandmas house. Antique furniture, 1930s decor, worn out carpet, but fairly clean. It is at a major intersection so there is a lot of traffic noise from trucks early in the morning.

This was a great place, quiet, appeared to have a bit of history paired with a great restaurant in the lower floor. My single room was a bit small but all the other pro’s about the hotel more than made up for it. I’d stay here again without even looking at other places in the area.

This was our second time staying here and can’t wait to go back next year for our anniversary.

Friendly staff at check in and out, room was clean, good food at the pub, historic building. Good parking.

The hotel was convenient. Loved the restaurant and pub on the first two floors. The rooms are not upscale by any means but that adds to the character of the 1865 hotel. The bedding and towels smelled very clean and sanitary. The room could stand to have some new bigger softer pillows. We had a very pleasant time.

Very charming. Clean and excellent staff. The hotel is in need of some cosmetic updates but overall we enjoy staying here.

The room was hot and turning the a/c on and opening a window did little to help

Very clean. Staff service was outstanding. Besides staying overnight, we ate dinner in the restaurant. Service was great - food was very good. Room was fine, but could use updating - ex. bathroom. Honey Brook is one of those good old American towns - very quiet.

This property is absolutely stunning! It's a historic hotel and the room decor matches that aesthetic. The room was extremely spacious, everything was clean and comfortable. Check-in was very easy and fast. I was surprised by a small breakfast in the morning, and we really enjoyed the on-site restaurant for dinner. Every employee we interacted with was extremely kind and accommodating.

This property was lovely and old fashioned which we really loved. It has a lot of character and the owners and staff make it worth staying at. We had a lovely time and will be back!

Nice older hotel with character

The Waynebrook is an historical hotel. The rooms are clean but small, especially the bathroom. You will get a comfortable nights sleep! You can’t go wrong with the Waynebrook, it’s pricing is so affordable if you’re looking for a night or two stay. The Pub has great food & drinks!

The hotel has an old world feel to it, and is peaceful and quaint. The staff is very nice and goes out of their way to make your stay exceptional. The only thing that was not outstanding were the beds. They were a little on the firmer side.

I had to check in "after" hours which became a small issue due to a phone issue they were apparently having. Small inconvenience. I found the room clean and neat but absolutely dated. I had the continental breakfast which was fine but a little lacking in my opinion. I would stay again as there were no big issues and the cost was fair.

Staff was very nice. Restaurant was nice.
Room was pretty and a good size.
Bed was uncomfortable. Shower was the size of a phone booth.
Asked for more towels, they brought quickly, but left on the floor outside the room (not in a bag), ewww.

I don't care about eco-friendliness
This is a beautiful historic inn and I would definitely stay again. This was my second time. The owner is very nice! His staff also are nice and it is clean!

Great place to stay

We chose this place because it was close to family we were there to see and the only hotel in the town. When we arrived there was no one at the desk for check in. Had to wait a few minutes. Our room was quaint, but clearly out dated and could use some improvements. The bed wasn’t that comfortable for me so I didn’t sleep well. The parking lot is small but there is another lot in the next block, so a short walk. In the basement level of the place is a bar, so the parking lot was full when we returned from our family’s house. Not sure about the continental breakfast, but a family member said it was inedible, so we went to Wimpy & Dees diner down the street which was great! Our stay was ok, but sorry to say we will probably not return.

the property was in a picturesque historic setting. Wish there had been been more accessible parking for us old folks.

It needs better parking for people who stay at the hotel and for people who go to the restaurant or pub. I am a disabled veteran and the main parking lot was full and was told to park in the back parking lot or across the street. But a restaurant employee volunteer to move her car so that I was able to park in the main parking lot.
