Stayed here about 20 years ago and nice to see that they've clearly spent some money refurbishing the place. There were a lot of things that I couldn't fault, the breakfast/rooftop pool and bar as well as rooms on other floors which looked nice and new and clean. Unfortunately, the room we were put in wasn't one of the refurbished rooms so looked pretty tired, the shower wasn't best and the bathroom had a funny smell of drains. Outside of the room, we had a very pleasant stay so it wouldn't put me off going back. I'd just want to make sure I was in one of the newly finished rooms instead or, hopefully, they find the time to do the rest of the rooms (like the one we stayed in) up the same.

Poor facilities, cheap alcohol. Good waiting staff, awful receptionist staff, location is good. Building still going on. First room was opposite a building site and we were woken at 6am with loud noises. The second room had single beds but they didn't make it into a double bed despite repeated requests. Awful hotel experience overall.

Hotel was fantastic staff and facilities first class,if I had anything to moan about could of done with more coffee/tea/milk in the room for a cuppa,only 2 milks was clearly never going to be enough and sadly one day they forgot to refill the items,but hey this seems a trivial thing to moan about in a stunning hotel,thank you x

I had two nights in the superior double sea view, I paid over €300 and the room was as basic as they come. The decor reminded me of a poor butlins back in the day. No water in the room, tea or coffee. The noise from the hotel entertainment bellowed like it was in my bedroom at midnight. Absolute waste of money. I spent just over €500 for 5 nights in the dolmen, top floor sea view and the difference in standard was huge. Thank goodness I had a 2nd place booked. The staff but not all were rude and not accommodating. The staff at the dolmen couldn’t do enough for you to ensure my stay was lovely!

For breakfast you get the same every day, no variations. The rooms are worn, and need a little upgrade. It's not in any way a spa hotel.

The hotel is massive, breakfast is like being at a busy market place, stayed there for 5 nights and every night the fire alarm went off at about 6 am for 10 times, not great to relax. The staff at reception are not knowledgeable (e.g. unable to give direction for the ferry to Gozo). If you go with a car difficult to park around the area. The air conditioning in reception smells as soon as you enter, not the best welcome.

The property is in a fantastic location. Great connections to all areas on the island, whether it be boat, car and the airport is only 30 minutes away! Issues I had are with the reception staff. The gentleman was overwhelmed with his work load however he did make time to check me in. The two women were either on the phone or talking to other members of staff whilst a cue of people including myself were waiting. Secondly for a four star hotel I at least expected shampoo, conditioner and body wash. My room had undergone refurbishment to a poor standard. Old sockets were removed and painted over. It all seemed rushed! Thirdly the staff did not explain what was included with my booking. I booked a room only via Expedia and when I arrived breakfast was included. However I have been to a number of hotels around the world and I am always informed about food times, local amenities etc. Expedia also displayed the property at the time of booking to inlcude a fitness facility. TO WHICH IS DOES NOT HAVE! I mainly booked this property as it had the Fitness facility and Spa. Upon arrival neither Spa or Fitness facility was present! Overall I had a positive stay. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and courteous. Cleaners were very friendly, even though they entered our room sometimes more than 3 times. (Make sure you use your do not disturb sign). Reception staff are not great, but once you've checked in you don't need to bother them. Would recommend, dont expect much.

No drinking water in the room, and only 2 fountains available for the whole hotel , not convenient

Breakfast way too crowded, Bed extremely uncomfortable, no parasol at pool or with rooms with extended balconies. Ac worked really well and room very spacious

This property is nlt 4* had to change room 3x first Room was infested with ants 3rd room bathroom was been painted and painter left chippings all over floor 3rd bathrom nasty aink wouldnt go down black stuff coming off the shower l, Dirty

Pros: Lovely restaurant staff who are willing to help with requests. The view from my room in particular was amazing, overlooking the beach and main road. Generally a quiet hotel and outdoor area. Some sun loungers always available. Rooftop area was stunning and clean. Range of food at the buffet. Cons: The rooms do not resemble the pictures on the website. The hotel is dated and renovations not complete. No difference between Standard and Superior room even with price difference. Rooms sometimes not freshened up properly. No gym or Spa facilities. This is a 3* hotel, definitely not 4*. Overall disappointing and not worth the money paid. The renovations are not completed to a high standard and more effort put into other areas, not the rooms. I would not recommend and would not stay here again. Can to stress enough that the pictures on the booking websites are highly glorified.

From the moment we entrede the hotel we were met with a reception desk with no idea of a good service. From day one til the very end. On top of that the staff was contradictory. I have never experienced anything worse. Most unfortunate for the rest of the staff who understood the concept of good service. Rooms and location were ok. I will not be going again

Hotel was good overall, but the internet kept fluctuating and was poor in the room

My husband and I came all the way from Canada and stayed for 2 weeks. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. There was a slim tall gentleman that always was with a smiling face and helpful too. Rooms were clean even although sometimes cleaned late in the afternoon but that's because they had to clean the rooms for new comers. Very top notch breakfast. We enjoyed it everyday! Shopping was about 15 minutes walk but enjoyable walk. The indoor pool and spa weren't ready until August this year but we enjoyed the outdoor pool very much. We wished the pool was opened longer then 6pm. The receptionist arranged for a cab for us a couple of days earlier for the airport and then reconfirmed the night before to make sure it was there for the next morning for our flight departure. We will definitely stay there again. We had a great time!

Very complete breakfast, high quality food and very diverse. Close to restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket and bus stops.

We were very happy to stay here. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great, the people there were very friendly, location ok. The only negative thing was that there was construction still going on in and outside the building but it was ok

The staff can't do enough for you but there is building work going on both in the hotel and the hotel behind and to the rear making the area very dusty and the beds are rock hard

1 night stay, the room was clean but smelled cigarettes as we don’t smoke it was a bit annoying, the hotel is near to many good restaurants, the pool area is very nice, breakfast had good variety, overall good experience.

Great stay been to this hotel 10 or 11 in the last 30 years and never had a reason to complain will be back there soon.

Modern, good standard hotel with a good breakfast. As we were there the TV didn’t function and some lights didn’t function. Otherwise fine.

The website is deceiving. Says free parking this is not true. It’s on the street if you can find a spot. The hotel gets a loud and noisy Benidorm crowd. Off key Elvis singing poorly until 23:00. The breakfast was nice and the sea view wonderful. The other view would be a construction site. Would never recommend this hotel

Clean, but not on the beach as I had thought as there is no real beach at this location.

Room was comfortable, and clean. Housekeeping did a great job. Pool was good. The view from the balcony is priceless

Its a well situated hotel. Close to amenities, restaurants, shops and many other places. Check in went smoothly and room was clean,spacious and well equipped. However due to the lack of staff, the hotel misses out on providing the extra service and doing proper upselling. Pool is a way to small considering the amount of rooms it has.

Pool area nice

Hotel is ok. Had I known it was an ‘all inclusive’ hotel for some tour operators I would not have stayed here. A/C in the room was diabolical- it was like an oven all the time. I would not recommend this hotel. Cafe/bar in reception (not all inclusive) was the best part.
