Service &hospitality was great. They really need to upgrade the food please!!

There are several pros and cons to this resort. It’s big, clean, with a variety of things to do. The dinners are good, servers at the restaurants are extremely friendly. Actually, all employees are very friendly throughout the resort. However, a lot of the amenities they offer are an extra charge. Most of the staff, although friendly, move at a glacier pace, and it doesn’t seem staffed appropriately. For example, we went when the resort was sold out, but the main pool had one bartender. The coffee shop would have a line with one person making coffee, slowly, while another stood there waiting to serve a pastry if someone asked for one. Also, the buffet for lunch and dinner was the worst variety of any buffet we have been to thus far. We travel yearly, a new resort every time, and have for the last 10 or so years. Please trust that it is not worth the free massage to take hours of your vacation time to listen to their “membership” program. If you do choose to do it, be careful what they offer you to talk you into listening because they will take as many hours of Your time as possible no matter how little time they promise it’ll take and make sure you don’t agree to RESORT credits, as you won’t be able to use them for much. Bargain for the ROOM credits, which can be used for anything. I would not visit this resort again.

Be careful at checkout they add charges to your room and when you want to speak to someone they say pay now and email them. Extremely unprofessional

Good facilities, but too many hard sells on timeshares, photo taking on the beach, etc. Over priced services - 400 USD for a massage?

below expectations and definitely not good value for money. the good: 1 - excellent room and very nice theatre. The bad: 1- the layout of the hotel is a nightmare 2- restaurants and pools closed. 3- too much people and not enough staff in the restaurants and the bars, queues for everything! 5- three cockroaches in our room. there are cockroaches in the hard rock!!! 5- when it rains there are leaks everywhere and the hallways flood. 6- our jacuzzi didn’t have hot water, we had to report it 4 times. We arrived on Saturday and the jacuzzi was fixed on Wednesday. 7- the lobby of feels like a mall and everything costs extra (super expensive), if you travel with children, prepare, they’ll make you go through a shop to get into the waterpark as well as the children playground, cheeky! 8- nothing compared to the dodgy legendary scheme they sell. They offer breakfast and a talk for 1.5 hours, they’ll give you 150$ to spend on the shop just to listen to them. It was 6.5hours!!! Made a confusing offer, supported by doodles in a sheet, no contract, just words and scribbles. Said this was take it or leave, we had to decide on the spot. Asked us to pay a portion without contract (red flags), we paid and went to legal where they provided the contract which was different to what they offered (they’d told us we had unlimited RCI weeks for 5 years and the contract said we had 5 weeks!!!!) all this while they brought drinks non stop. realising this was a scam,I demanded my money back

This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful grounds and the staff is excellent. Having said this, the food was horrible. I have never been so disappointed. We tried so many different restaurants and they were all just awful. We would never go back for this reason alone. We couldn't wait to get home to have decent food. They should really consider not making all inclusive mandatory.

Food quality is okay but I have the terrible experience at the Toro Strak house… all went wrong there

They wouldn’t allow my taxi in to pick me up or caused me great delays then they charged me $30 for a taxi ride to the gate ridiculous

Great place to visit for a vacation. The beaches are pristine and the weather is perfect. The local cuisine is delicious and the people are friendly. There are also many cultural attractions to explore. Overall, it's a fantastic destination for a memorable trip.

The only suggestion is to add bar areas possibly a sports bar for adults only.

Not a great stay. Was there for our honeymoon and was harnessed the entire time to buy timeshares or different trinkets on the beach. Found a bug (I won’t gross people out with what that bug was) in my hamburger and hotel did not do much. It was incredibly disgusting and disappointing.

Wonderful

The property has beautiful grounds and an incredible beach with immaculate facilities. There was a great night life scene and every day was filled with various fun activities. There was never a dull moment for adults and kids The buffet was underwhelming compared to other resorts I've attended. The dine in restaurants were delicious but at times with very lengthy waits. The restaurants are definitely the way to go for food. The room service was also very delicious. I don't really understand why the casino and club oro charged for all drinks. I understand if top shelf liquor required a fee but well drinks and beer should be free. People just ended up leaving the club and drinking outside the casino and then coming back in. Bizarre. Most of the staff we encountered were friendly. Some waiters were not friendly and at times rude. The VR game room had a particularly rude host and was not helpful or patient with children. The games had several glitches and overall disappointing. Overall we enjoyed our time at the Hard Rock resort. We have very fond memories and will miss their beautiful grounds and beach.

My stay was only four nights and it took two days to work out a room logistic. Two staff members made promises that they didn't keep.

Gym facilities were excellent. Room was spacious and cleaned daily. I believe property is overpriced compared to similar resorts in the area.

Beach is nice and food was good. We are VIP members and we did not get any upgrades in our room, or upgrades to use at the hotel. We were hoping to get some benefits that were suggested in our reservation.

We had such an amazing time here. We had a ton of help from the beginning of our trip all the way to the end with Anastasia when it came to any questions we had. My son has health issues and we Have to travel with a heavy medical device. It requires hot water daily. We had the best help from Edwin each night. He met us at our room daily to deliver a clean kettle that has never processed coffee. He was such a pleasure to deal with and always with a smile. We are looking forward to going back and having this incredible service and will surely be in touch with both Anastasia and Edwin. Thank you again

Didn’t get the room that I booked. Got a smaller room. Not happy about that.

Great resort, beautiful beach. Didn’t like the food all the restaurants had average food. Room service food is very bad. They definitely need to work on that. Other than that resort is good.

I liked all of the activities but the resort is so big you have to take a shuttle everywhere and have to wait longer than ideal for it to pick you up. Our room was great but we couldn't go on the balcony because it was full of bird poo. Even if we cleaned out the tub outside it was full of poo again the next day. Couldn't hang clothes out to dry because of this or even sit outside.

The room was not complete with amenities when we check in and we did not received a complimentary wine when we check in

Service is awful, never cleaned the room in a proper way, we waited 4 days and never refilled the Kleenex. At the Mexican took almost 45 to get the main course after the appetizers, in my tacos a bone was in the meat. We complained and never had a helpful answer. Really bad Customer Service to help with our problems.

The property was overcrowded and the hotel management wasn’t ready for it. Long waiting periods to access any restaurant at dinner, miscommunications and some staff with bad attitude. We used to be big fans and have been going there since 2017 but this is probably the last time.

The stay was fine, certainly not great. Many of the attractions have short hours or extra charges. Service was mediocre. But the room was beautiful and very clean.
