Very charming cute little hotel in a great quiet laid back area of Napoli.
The hotel is right next to a metro station which made it very easy to navigate around the area with the hotel as a base.
It was a little confusing finding it though when arriving as one would think that the hotel is the entire building shown in the listing pictures, but it only encompasses the 4th floor of the building.
The staff was very nice & incredibly helpful, even booking an early morning taxi for us to the train station.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Was kind of hard to find, would have helped if we knew it was on the 4th floor of the building.

The Pinto Stoey is in a great location, close to the train station, close to shops, and an easy cab ride to other areas and an easy walk to the water. The location is difficult to find as it is identified only by a small plaque near the door. There is NO parking if you are in a car and it is almost impossible to drop off luggage or passengers on the congested street. Our room was very nice with a city view and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great and the cappuccino was excellent. The big problem was that there was almost no hot water! We asked about this several times. We were told by one staff member that it would be fixed...but it was not. Another staff told us we had to run the water longer to get hot water. That did not work either. There was no solution offered and no discount provided.

Nice, very small & clean hotel, friendly staff, close to Naples Metro. Cons: hot water supply erratic (Check with hotel before booking to find out if hot water heater has been repaired), breakfast charges extra, few places to eat nearby without go up/down steep streets or steps.

Great location for Naples, not in the unsafe areas. Too bad the hot water only lasted 10 seconds.

My husband and I have now stayed here twice.
It is one of the original Naples hotel-1887- and has 14 rooms only on the 4th & 5th floor of the building. They have a small elevator.
Staff is great-very accommodating. The hotel is spotless with new updated bathrooms.
Best part is that it is located in a residual area, not in a tourist area. The real flavour of Naples surrounds you!

Fantastic location right outside Amodeo metro. Easy to get to from Garibaldi (Naples central station) which links with airport alibus. Room super clean and new in retro style. Wifi good. On 4th floor of big old palace style building. Price was good and I felt it was good value. Lovely to walk from the hotel up towards the city through the trendy streets of Chiara.

Five days of comfort in a good safe area. Handy to station and many places to eat and sights in and around Piazza Amadeo.
Comfortable roomy clean accomodation and friendly staff, though the shower was a bit leaky.

We booked a standard room and were pleased with the room for the money we paid. The only negatives were that when showering you had to be careful with the shower curtain otherwise it was easy to flood the bathroom. The other minor problem was the breakfast/bar room was being built next to our room and there was some noise at 8am with workers. The room was clean and the location of the hotel is excellent. In the same street as the hotel there is a mini supermarket, several eateries and the metro and buses are very near. It is easy to walk from the hotel to the centre of Naples. We felt safe at all times. The staff were always pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is really nice, clean, close to the subway station and a lot of good restaurants! The rooms are really spacious and well presented. The staff was always kind and available for information.

Service wasn't great. Very poor wifi. Neighbourhood was nice and less sketchy than downtown. It was a 2 minute walk from Amemdo metro station. Room was awesome though.

I arrived at the hotel to be greeted with a building site, no bar, no lounge nowhere to relax, or have meals ( breakfast ) even if i wanted. To make things worse, the booking system, via hotels.com or the hotel itself had allocated a single room, despite me having booked, and had confirmed. The single room was dark, had a tiny bed and was very uncomfortable, ( Im 6ft 4ins which is why i booked at extra cost a double ) The manager wasnt available for a day or so and when i did manage to speak with him there were no other room available the 3rd may, 6 days into my stay.Had i had known there was building work going on and less than the faclites i was sold, i would not have booked it, as i paid for a hotel, not a bed and breakfast, which it was. I will be going back to Naples a few more time this year, the hotel pinto story will not be oin my list and ill seriously considier using hotels.com until i get reply to my e mail asking them to investigate what happened

Hotel Pinto is in an exclusive neighborhood in Napoli. While the entrance is on the fourth floor of the building, requiring carrying your luggage in a lift, once you arrive the staff is friendly, fluent in English and very helpful. The rooms have an old world quality to them but the windows open to balconies, the bathrooms are comfortable and the beds are delightfully firm. Oscar, who is at the desk is a wonderful introduction to the city.

Great location essentially adjacent to the Amadeo Metro stop. Clean and quirky and overall a good value.

The hotel was very clean. The catering staff were very helpful and very attentive. The mature lady on reception only speaks Italian so it was very hard to communicate and to get any information. There are many shops and restaurants nearby and a metro station. The harbour is nearby for anyone going on a cruise and also many restaurants by the sea and parks for the family to enjoy. Major works are taking place to refurbish the park and rail works are taking place too this should all be complete by the summer. When you arrive at the airport there is an Alibus to take you to the harbour.

Great hotel for a stay in Naples. Good neighborhood and a reasonable walk to sites. After a request the desk clerk found us a lovely restaurant for New Year's Eve, when we needed the help.

Hotel is in a pleasant neighborhood, convenient to train. It 's a good value & pleasantly appointed. Complaints were small, but prevent a 5-star rating: there was no working A/C since the hotel turns it off on Sept. 30 despite rather warm weather in Oct. ; evening desk attendant who spoke English was missing for a good bit of time; a 2nd attendant gave us incorrect information about our airport transfer, which conflicted with what the first (correct) attendant told us. Still, staff was pleasant & we enjoyed our stay. Naples is great!

We had an exceptionally large room, I think. The view was lovely but the afternoon sun, hot. The room was quickly cleaned and ready by the time we returned from breakfast at a nearby cafe. The shower wa a bit tight but we expect that in an old hotel. The neighborhood has a plethora if good restaurants within a short walk.

I recently stayed at the Pinto-Storey for three nights on my first ever trip to Napoli. Being unfamiliar with the city, I really had no idea what to expect about the location. I liked that it was away from the more hectic Centro Storico area but easily reachable by the metro from other parts of the city. It was close to many restaurants and also to a funicular. The hotel itself was very well maintained and had a nice breakfast area. The room was very clean, and though it was small, I didn't feel cramped. The staff was very pleasant. I would return to this hotel.

A bit on the edge of the Chiaia district, the hotel is convenient to the Amadeo metro. Not outstanding, but pretty good all around. The value is really strong here, though there are little in the way of amenities for service and I would advise always getting your breakfast outside somewhere else,

Very atmospheric hotel in the heart of Naples, near buses and metro. But the front desk people were horrible. I pointed out that the single bed at 80cm wide was rather narrow and got a lecture on bed sizes but not a word of regret or acknowledgement that the bed was too small for the space allowed for it - indicating that the more usual 90cm wide single bed had been designed into the room. Several other reviews mentioned being caught out when paying by credit card and not realising that the hotel converted local euros to a home currency, charging commission along the way. The same happened to me and I had to really stand my ground to insist on the transaction being redone in euros. Finally, friends and relatives calling the hotel to speak to me or leave a message were told I did not exist and was not a guest - quite embarrassing that one.

I stayed in the Pinto Storey Hotel in Napoli for 4 nights: great location, across from the subway entrance (same line going to Napoli Centrale) and 1 block from Via de Mille (with all the fancy stores). THe room was very tinny but the balcony facing the Napoli bay and the Vesuvio was amazing. Only problem: the AC from the room next door was on my balcony and when on, the hot air was blowing up into my room... too bad....

The Pinto Storey looks fabulous from outside and within. The room was spacious and well appointed, good size bathroom, and our room had two balconies, one with fabulous views over the piazza. My only minor criticism was breakfast could have been a little better considering the quality of everything else. Good location very close to the metro and funicular.
