The Remington Suite Hotel lives up to it name of being a suite hotel. We had a very nice and spacious suite with a large bathroom, large bedroom and a large Livingroom with a refrigerator. Everything was very well appointed, It was very clean and centrally located one block from Texas Street and some of the casino hotels. The staff was very friendly.
It also provided a nice complementary breakfast in the lobby area.

The cost was too high for the type of hotel we got. Advertised a swimming pool and hot tub but was not allowed to use it. $165 and no pool. Could have stayed at one of the casinos for $70. So sad

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Room was quiet and extremely spacious! Staff was incredibly inviting and friendly. Comfortable bed and nice decor. Bathroom is a tad outdated but at the same time gave it a certain “old school” Arlington vibe. Only thing is, I would’ve liked a microwave. But I also could have overlooked it haha.
Will definitely be returning!

We were in Shreveport to watch a friend race at the Boothill Speedway, we needed pet friendly accommodations. We stayed in room 5, it was very nice and quite comfortable. Or dog Remington would agree. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area.

The room was nice, however the jetts weren't working which is why i vbooked the room. Management was willing to compensate and gave us a bottle of wine. The staff was very heplful and friendly.

My Son and his new Bride arrived at the Hotel after the reception and no one answered the after hours phone. They called several times and waited awhile and ended up spending the night with her parents!
So disappointed and we had to pay for the unused night.

Check in was easy. Everyone that works there is very nice ! The room was huge. The room was also updated and clean . The bed was so comfortable . The location was what we needed . The valet was excellent. Highly recomnend

The reception staff is top notch. Friendly and helpful. The WiFi is awful. I repeatedly lost connectivity with my iPad and the hotels Roku. I brought this up twice, it was never resolved. Very clean room, but I wish my bed was made and towels were changed each day.

Our son goes to college in Shreveport, and this is our favorite place to stay when we visit him. The rooms are very big and nice. There is a good bar in the lobby. Best of all, we can bring our dog with us! The only thing we don’t love about the Remington is the acoustics. The hallways are tile and everything that happens in the hall you hear in your room. This time, though, our a/c was set on “fan” so it ran all night and we didn’t hear other guests moving around. Easy fix! There are two really good coffee places in walking distance. Staff is always really friendly.

Very awkward front desk staff in the evening. Walls in standard rooms are so thin I could hear people’s phone convos (even hear the person on the line) and everything on the tv. Property is beautiful and well maintained and the morning staff was wonderful. Mixed bag. Tough to accept some of those issues for the price.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was beautiful and huge! It was like an apartment instead of a hotel room. The staff was very friendly and efficient! The room was clean and comfortable! We will definitely stay here every time we come to Shreveport! I will recommend it to all my friends and family!

We stopped here overnight on our road trip. The lobby has been beautifully renovated and the front desk was welcoming, professional and helpful during our late check-in. This is a historic building in the process of being renovated. It has a lot of character and some unique vintage finds throughout. Our room was very clean and spacious with a walkin closet, mini fridge and coffee maker, desk area and sitting area. Our king sized bed was the most comfortable ever, we slept great.
All the rooms are uniquely decorated which was fun. There was a jetted tub but we didn’t use it (it was an older model and we couldn’t figure out how to toggle the shower tub combo from shower to tub). While the rub was clean the area has hard water and there was some scale on the faucet.
Once renovation is complete it could be a stunner. There is a rooftop that would benefit from a rooftop bar, a large hall that would make a great restaurant or event space, given its nice location downtown near bars and restaurants.

Unique but with weddings the hallways are dirty and unkept due to hauling in and out. Street very noisy as bar is right beside it. Get a back room not a street room!

Super nice staff. Very helpful. The hotel is very cool! So much history and very cool remodel. The area around was old and very basic. Very limited eating places. The streets were desolate. The eatery Blind tiger was open and great food. The staff was friendly. I recommend staying at the Remington. Very cool!

The staff could not be more accommodating, professional or friendly. It would be like staying at a 5star resort if it was ran by your old college roommate. Anything you need was just a call away and delivered with a smile. I could not have picked a better place to host my daughters Sweet 16 and I hope the Remington staff know just how grateful I am for helping me make it perfect.

We were in town on a legal matter and the hotel was very close to the courthouse. That was a plus. It is a beautiful hotel. Breakfast was a bit skimpy. We had not been to Shreveport in several years. The downtown area has really died. Both within and outside of the casinos many restaurants were closed permanently or closed half of the week. It was a bit shocking.

I was overcharged for the room and for valet service. There was a Barbie event at the hotel when we checked in and it was loud and chaotic. The following morning the fire alarms kept going off. Overall, not a great stay. Parking is by valet only and it is expensive.

Rooms were not exactly as they appeared in the online photos. The hotel appeared to be undergoing renovations. There were some inaccessible areas as well as several hanging accessories inside the room where pictures once were. Once I got past that, I had a wonderful stay. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The ambience was charming, quaint, romantic even. I loved that it wasn't a huge hotel. I got a massage. Wren was AMAZING!!!! I have not felt this good in years!! I would definitely invite others to partake in this wonderful
experience.
