Great stay! Spacious rooms with kitchenette and a sofa in the living area. Comes with washing machine. Walking distance to Taikoo Hui and other shopping area. Service was outstanding too. Only grief was that there is only a wall socket on one side of the bed and none that allows USB charging so bring your own universal adapter.

The hotel cleanliness and location is good , however the reception and lobby staff are not attentive and helpful. In fact, the reception staff are rude and not service oriented. The cleaners were very nice and attentive though which we are very appreciative and is the plus point of this hotel customer service. Please do train your staff. Also I do not understand why changing from 1 king bed to 2 twin beds is consider upgrade and need to pay more?

Great location. The residences are very nice, well maintained and clean. Customer service was OK. The staff at the Pool did not have caps for us, and would not let us swim without them. Did not seem tolersnt to the fsct that we didn't live in the building and know that. Other than that a great place to stay

Located near a mall. the bellboys are very friendly and helpful. The check-in counter staff wasn't very helpful when we tried to ask about restaurant recommendations. The room was nice, view was good, but was infested with mosquitoes (I smacked 4 in less than 2 hours). Breakfast restaurant food quality wasn't great.

The bed is super comfy and the size of the studio is big for 2 persons. The metro is quite a distance away.... but the surrounding full of eatery and malls.

Everything is good in service, however the room is too small and much smaller than what I expect 50 square meters, look at other hotel in beijing and Nanjing, their 50square meters room is visible.

The design and quality of cleanliness is very good. Walking distance of 5 -10 mins to the metro and the shopping malls in Tianhe District. Definitely will consider to stay here again

We stayed at the Oakwood during a business trip in April 2019. The hotel was lovely and the stafs were extremely accommodating. Our room was a 1 bedroom suite which was spacious and very clean. The bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff went out of their way to meet every whim, from directions to room service, taxi service and restaurant and shopping recommendations. Location was perfect for walking to all amenities.

Stayed here for two nights in early January, and was quite happy with our stay. The property was very luxurious and modern, a proper 5-star. It is a western chain so the front desk staff speaks excellent English and are generally fairly cosmopolitan and sophisticated. (The bellman on the ground floor can use some proper training, but they were friendly and helpful nonetheless.) The location of the hotel was quite convenient, with a few subway stations within walking distance, and many restaurants and shopping options nearby. Our room (on the 33rd floor ) was spacious and very comfortable. The décor was very modern, luxurious, clean and chic. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was of good size and very well designed, with a laundry machine, steam bath function in the shower room. The kitchen was well equipped with nice equipments/flatwares/utencils. The Wifi in the room worked quite well. The hotel has a huge, very well equipped gym, and a beautiful covered outdoor pool. Overall, a great experience, at a very reasonable price!

I received an offer from Hotels.com while searching for accommodation for my last two nights in Guangzhou. The room is modern, well-maintained and super clean - which is helpful if you have any health or allergy issues. View of Guangzhou skyline from the room is fantastic. The availability of washing machines allowed me to take care of my laundry after traveling around China for nearly two weeks. I also like the fact that there's a kitchen in the room, which gives me the flexibility to do light cooking or even to heat up my food. Staff are generally helpful and able to converse well in English. They saved me the trouble of booking a taxi to get to the airport. Even though there was a small hiccup with my reservation which resulted in me getting charged twice, hotels.com was willing to refund the second transaction. I will definitely stay at this place again if I ever travel to Guangzhou in the future. My other recommendation for Oakwood is it will be nice if you offer a membership rewards programme. This will give more incentive for solo travelers like me to stay in Oakwood properties for future travels.

The stay was good. The room is spacious, bed is BIG and full amenities. Equipped with waterproof TV in toilet, washing machine (all purpose) with dryer, airwash and iron capability in addition to standalone iron. No daily newspaper is downside.. Internet connection is bad. keep dropping

Helpful staff - always someone available who spoke English and very responsive to special requests. Convenient location - walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and groceries. Nice amenities - full kitchen, dining area, washer dryer, all the comforts of home. Was traveling with a disabled person and this hotel met our needs. Would definitely recommend.

Contains all the essential elements of a classy hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Air conditioning works well. Staff are keen to assist. Expensive transfer from the airport. Just catch a cab but make sure you have some local cash. Well located. Restaurant is average based on my one visit. Recommend the Italian 50m up the road. Thanks...I will be back to stay again!

First of all, i travel to this area many times and this time i tried to book somewhere else than i used to be stayed. The location is not bad, but not very good. It is about 10min. walking distance to shopping centers. Room condition - shower head (room#3401) was swinging around as I turn on the water. The shower head never stayed as how I adjusted and fixed on. Water temperature is unstable. It became very hot and warm repeated. It smells bad in the bathroom. Because of this hotel is apartment complex and pepole cook in the rooms, you can smell it in your room when they cook. Noise- you can hear everything. 3 nights of total 8 days of my stay, I had to hear someone was talking on the phone every night and could even heard the voice over the phone. (Fyi, normally, Chinese people talks very loud). Pros: breakfast is excellent.

Multilingual front desk staff made check-in easy. Hotel is on top floors of tower so there are decent views of the surrounding area. Two bedroom easily accommodates a family of four.

Pro: corridor looks posh, big room, nice kitchenette (come with both microwave and oven), steam bath, daily replenishment of fruits, breakfast buffet spread was ok, early check-in was allowed, concierge was helpful, bathroom tv, dimmers throughout, adequate number of clothes hangers, washer+dryer and black slippers! Con: water leakage as shower cabinet isnt sealed up fully, duvet cover wasnt changed upon check-in (discovered foundation patch on it), cleaners mixed up hair conditioner and body lotion a few times (given 2 bottles of body lotion and no conditioner), bed looks old fashion so do other light colour wooden furniture.

There is really not much to fault this hotel, other than the location which is a bit far from the subway (about 10 minutes' walk), but this is nitpicking. The hotel is well appointed. When you walk into the room, you've got a comfortable feeling. The room is spacious for a hotel room which also include a full kitchen. There is a steam bath facility in the shower in the bathroom which we made good use of. We would definitely come back again. This should give you some idea how good this hotel is.
