The hotel definitely needs some updating. Based on the photos on hotels.com and other websites, I was expecting nicer accommodations. First off, our sofa did not have back cushions or throw pillows. Was very uncomfortable! When I asked the front desk what happened to the cushions, she could not provide an answer or solution. She said she would have someone check out the room. When someone went to the room to check for the cushions that did not exist, they simply pulled out the sofa bed and threw a pillow on it. Front desk could not provide pool towels when they did not appear to be at full capacity by any means. Pool surface needs to be redone, huge chunks missing as you enter the pool.
On a positive note, the breakfast was really good, which is the only reason I rated the hotel a 3 instead of lower.

The outside doors did not lock and they were weirdos walking in and out all night that we're not staying there

Not my first stay, and will not be my last. I love this place.

The breakfast room and food offerings in this hotel are like being back in 1978. The room and beds are half decent but this is a motel set up. We could not believe the breakfast situation and thought we had been transported back 40 years. All around this motel felt like a by gone era

Room was ok…. hot tub was not “open” our entire 3 day stay despite people using it. It was dirty and cloudy and supposedly closed, which it should have been, and as we were told, but no one was keeping people out of it. Who knows what bacteria was growing in it… Kids were eating bags of snacks while in it without any adult supervision. All in all a nasty situation.

The rooms are nice but the locks on the doors do not work well and need to be changed. The key gets stuck in the lock. Many people had the problem that stayed there.

Staff all seemed lost , couch was broken and hadn’t been swept under in years

We got a king size and the bed was super comfortable. But the shower head screamed and the bathroom had horrible lighting, the chair was covered in stains, and the fridge did not work (the freezer did).
The staff had put pool chemicals in but there was no signs or a way to let anyone know not to use the pool. I went in because I didn't know until I had made it half way through and then someone told me I couldn't be in and why.v

2 towels for 2 people is not enough. No soap provided or cup , body wash had been used. Room smelled musty but seemed clean. Floor was clean with No carpet which we like! Motel style rooms with outside entrance. Elevator was too far away to make sense to use so we took luggage up the stairs

The staff were incredibly rude and there were bags of trash/housekeeping linens all over. The shower squealed the whole time it was in use and the bathroom fan sounded like a dying rabbit. I was supposed to stay 2 nights, but I ended up checking out after 1 night and going elsewhere.

Property is in terrible shape. Staff is lazy and could care less. No working ice machines. Reserved a ground floor room and was given a 2 nd floor room. Elevator broken. No batteries in our tv remote
Never stay here again

The room was not very clean and over priced. I spoke to the front desk and they took care of it immediately. When we came back the room was immaculate, house keeping spent about 2-21/2hrs cleaning.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I don’t know if I would stay there again.

The room i paid for was not available. I was downgraded with no reduction in cost. When we tried to check in at 5:30 pm there was no rooms available or cleaned. The place was dated 20 years ago. Terrible!

Very disappointed that hot tub wasn’t working and that we weren’t notified prior
There were other options if we were notified.
Also, room originally given wasn’t cleaned when we entered.
I’ll take this off my list when visiting Venice again

I made the reservation several months in advance. Upon arrival to check in at 330pm we were told the room was not available and could not give any time frame when it would be ready. We had to advocate strongly with Manager to get our room. Met two couples that were still waiting for their room at 6pm. No hot water for one day of our 2 day stay. Pool was closed. Will only stay at Marriott’s moving forward.

Room was not ready till after 6:00pm. Had an event to go to when we arrived so had to find a room to get ready in and iron clothes. Pool was closed and did not know that ahead of time. Housekeeping was non existent. Bar was great but not officially part of the hotel so you couldn't charge anything to your room.

Locks would not respond. Had to get new cards every day.

the stay was amazing, unfortunately the hottub and pool were shut down due to a leak, but bar and Morgan were above wonderful and made up for it!

Supervisor was the bright spot rest of staff rude. Tried to put us next to year round transients.

We were disappointed that the “heated” pool seemed to be heated only on weekend days.

Hotel needs updating- could have a shower as water flow too slow, room floor Sandy, room smelled of old cigarette smoke although billed as none smoking. Had to ask and push to get our vip amenities. Felt somewhat unsafe due to being placed in back corner and a lot of young men out in corridors hanging out.

Well...the cleanliness has suffered ( I've been there before). I get it staffing issues. But for $1600 one should be able to get supplies...towels cups toilet paper get garbage emptied. Those things take minutes. I wasn't asking for a deep clean. Just supplies and I couldn't even get that. Mold smells in shower. Questioning whether to go back. I'm not above doing some keep up but when I'm told I'll get some supplies and don't...that's serious. $1600/wk

There were no shower towels available when we requested more, we were given pool towels. Property needs maintenance, the A/C thermostat didn’t work the second night, it was stuffy in the room. Noisy people at night and early morning. Shower handle was almost falling off.
Breakfast was an extra charge, the hotel was too pricey, we won’t stay here again.
I was told they were understaffed which seems to be the trend nowadays.

Given a handicapped room. Very noisy, felt unsafe. No signage for hotel so didn’t know it was there without gps. When I registered, I was given the key cards and informed there would be a $50 deposit which would be refunded when I checked out. That was it. No welcome, no mention of amenities, restaurant, anything. Romm was very clean

Nice enough hotel for an overnight stay but the room was only given two towels for three people. When I called up to the desk for more towels I was told I had to come get them because the housekeeper was no where to be found.

Hotel did not have a hot water. We did not check in.

Ok budget stay. Some things were broken (door latch and poor water pressure) or needed replacing. It appears they might have added new flooring, pictures, etc. What they needed to do was kill all the black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and paint it. Personally, this is a $100 or less night stay place...dont pay any more!

Enjoyed the location, the courteousness and professionalism of front desk.
The pool and hot tub were nice (stronger jets needed)
Didn’t eat at the hotel but saw many enjoying the buffet and bar outside of lobby.

Seemed to get a room at the furthest end of the hotel. Room smelled smokey.

Functionally obsolete property. Lights not on at sunset so back of property was horribly dark. You shouldn’t need bright lights on your car to find your room. I ended up walking with a flashlight to find my room

I booked 2 rooms, one for myself and one for my brother. He arrived ahead of me and encountered 2 mixups at the front desk. I arrived later and had another one. The night clerk, apologized for the mistakes. First, one of the two beds in my room had no pillows. Also, the room was dirty. And, there were no towels or washcloths in the bathroom! Then I found that the ice machine was out of order. Finally, I stayed here a couple years before, and even though there's a restaurant connected with the hotel, back then they still offered a continental breakfast. Now, all they have is coffee and tea. If you want anything to eat, you have to use the restaurant, which is really a cheap way of operating! I'm retired and travel extensively, and this is without a doubt the worst Wyndham hotel I've ever experienced. Avoid it at all costs!!!

The property was very dirty. I saw mold in my room and it smelled of dust and urine.

I don’t enjoy or often give negative reviews, but this was an experience I’d like to spare other people from. It smelled horrible, the upkeep was awful, and half the lamps partially worked in a way that was possibly a fire hazard. The staff was very friendly and polite and none of this was their fault, but one night was too many to stay to be honest.

I could not stay at this hotel. The disinfectant small was so overpowering it made me ill

Jodi in the restaurant was really good. She provided great service and represented the hotel very professionally.

To start, our key wasn’t working well. Then we tried the other key and it got completely stuck in the door. We had to be switched to another room. The restaurant staff takes forever to show up. And the bathrooms are hideous. The water from the sink faucet sprayed everywhere. Just not a nice place.
