Could be stunning but misses the little touches

loved the apartment, well maintained and well kitted out for a city centre break
location was excellent, near the city centre and trams for Airport etc
easy entrance/exit via personal access code and communication was excellent, responding quickly to a question I had on a Saturday

Cannot fault this property at all. The location was perfect for a 5 day stay in Edinburgh. Communication and support when needed were spot on. Destiny Scotland had thought of everything - even down to leaving us a couple of washing detergents/dishwasher tablets, airers for laundry, iron alongside bedding, towels, hair dryers etc. The apartment was beautifully furnished, spacious and a perfect relaxation spot. Also impressed by the security of the property - gated entrance with code, and a secure luggage storage area which we used on arrival and departure. Will be back and will recommend to others too!

Great location for both the Old Port and the Stadium

At first glance, this is a beautiful apartment and large enough to feel comfortable after smaller spaces mostly throughout the country. On the plus side, the comfy sofa, the tv, the high pressure shower, big fridge and all the appliances. However, the bed is unfortunately far from comfortable (springs) and we had some problems with the appliances: woke us up in the early morning beeping without reasons.

In great condition and easy to communicate with.

This property was perfectly located with a 20 minute walk to the Royal Mile, and only 10 minutes from Princes Street so loads of shopping and wonderful dining close by. A local pub is a one minute walk with friendly staff and good food as well! We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and the space was perfect with lots of closet room also. Everything was completely spotless, and we received excellent communication throughout our stay.

Amazing appartment, really central and everything we needed.

Easy to find and very central. Lovely spacious apartment with great facilities. Just what we needed Lovely thick fluffy towels and toiletries. Communication was excellent. For those not booking direct you need to be aware that they require a refundable deposit Would definitely stay again.

They sent an email with the entry code and a downloadable app that had all the details, days before we were due to arrive. I knew exactly what to expect and how to use their luggage storage. The location is great. It's behind the castle/gardens area and walkable to city and airport transportation, shops, eateries and groceries. The apartment was very clean. If we go back to Edinburgh, we will definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time in the Malt apartment - the place is huge and well planned out. The beds are nice and the bathroom is great - we didn't use the kitchen but it had everything needed. Loved that there was recycling.
It is also a calm area, good eating spots close by, close to city centre and tram to the airport. And great with luggage room available before checkin.
Small things: ventilation in bathroom was a bit noisy and going at night / we were three but only two duvets had sheets on
5.0
Amazing space with full kitchen and laundry to boot! Had a few issues getting access info to get into the property prior to arriving but once this info was in hand, just loved our time there.

These apartments are spacious and very clean. We stayed here almost 2 weeks and found the location to be excellent. There was a cleaning after one week which was very nice. The cleaning people were very helpful when we needed extra towels and toilet paper. They are in the building every day cleaning other apartments so easy to speak with. On the weekend the noise level can be disturbing from other guests especially when they get drunk and yell to each other. The apartment doors close by themselves and make a loud sound and that can be annoying too if you spend a lot of time in the apartment and the other ones are occupied.
We will definitely stay here again in the future.

The flat was spacious and clean with everything we needed. Less than a mile walk from Weaverly train station and loads of shopping and food options within a short walk. It was perfect for us.

Excellent apartment very close to the heart of the city, we attended a concert at the Usher Hall which was a couple of minutes away. Very comfortable and spacious two bed apartment with everything you might need. I’d book again.

Apartment was great, everything you need, plenty of space, received email 2 days before arrival with details on to gain entry. Would definitely book apartments again.
Parking was 5 mins walk from apartment and they have a contact with NCP £15 for for 24 hours

The apartment was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need. It was in the perfect position, just a small walk away from the main streets and Christmas Markets/Castle. The bed was also super comfy! We will definitely be booking here next time we visit Edinburgh.

Very accessible just at a stones throw from the tram, walking distance to lots of the sights. A perfect base.

Only thing was no corkscrew! So we left one. Apart from that it was a beautiful apartment, really clean and an awesome location!

We regularly return to Edinburgh at least twice a year and this trip was an Anniversary celebration. We normally stay around the Royal Mile but found the Malt House Apartments on Hotels.com and decided to give them a go. A grand find and a very good location, five minutes stroll to Princes Street and plenty in the surrounding area to see and do. We normally travel up by train but due to engineering works, drove up. Pre-booked car-parking with Q-Park at the OMNI and very safe and secure.
It's a short walk from the apartments to the Castle and up onto the Royal Mile. A good selection of shops and bars around and about the Apartment (recommend Dine Edinburgh for a treat - very nice). The Malt House are a very peaceful location and no noise from other apartments either. All-in-all, we've had many, many overnight stays in Edinburgh and would return to the Malt House. Very nice.

Good location. Clean modern apartment.

Great location and 2 bed apartment was a really good size for our family of 4. The apartment could do with a bit of TLC in some places but in general was really clean and all furniture comfortable.
Couple of minor issues which if resolved I would have given the place full marks. One of the bedroom windows doesn’t close properly which means you can hear lots of noise from outside. Also the external sign for the apartments was banging repeatedly in the wind overnight so that disturbed our sleep!
We did email and call as instructed within 24 hours of arrival to request an early check in (which we knew wasn’t guaranteed but we only wanted an hour early) and was told we’d get a phone call back but the call never arrived. So communication could have been better there.
Despite these small mentions we would still recommend the apartments and would definitely consider them again.

Great apartment, well located near Haymarket and all the city facilities and attractions - well equipped and comfortable only concern was noisy, antisocial neighbours late at night but couldn’t fault the destiny apparent.

Everything was excelent except we rented because we needed a washer dryer and it was broken. Loved the neighborhod.

This is a fantastic place to stay. It’s a small but fully equipped apartment with kitchen, living, dining, bedroom, and bathroom. Clean, new, and in great shape. Close to grocery, restaurants, and historical sights. The door doesn’t have a knob and it’s hard to open but just hip check it hard and it opens once you’ve entered your password. Great deal. Book this ASAP.

Good location, spacious and clean. The only problem is the dryer did not work. I reported it but received no response. Otherwise everything else was very good.

Gorgeous property with all the amenities and ample space. I wish my first apartment was this nice. Very walkable to shopping, pubs, trams. Highly recommend.

Good infrastructure and perfect WiFi. Shower should be renovated.

My flight landed early in the morning and it was raining. I contacted Destiny and asked wether I could check in early and they granted us an early check in which was really helpful. Our flat was clean and kitchen was fully equipped. My only complaint was the bed. The mattress was really uncomfortable. Overall my stay was really good and I recommend Destiny 100%.
5.0
Spacious and clean. Supplies of toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, dish cloths all enough for our stay. Had a problem with the heating when we arrived which was resolved immediately. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like
