Perfect for a quick overnight stay on our trip out West. Loved that it is pet friendly with lots of good areas to walk the dog. Culver’s right across the street too. We were early in their “season” so the hotel wasn’t fully opened and they were working on some of the floors but it was quiet and just fine on our floor.

Nightmare stay started at check in, untrained staff at desk unable to figure out my two room/two night reservation, even with me holding that reservation confirmation screen in my hand on IPhone. Insisted I only had one room, only solution offered was for me to make another reservation. Finally, after much heated discussion, told her to look for second room under different name (married daughter), bingo there it was. So much for looking out for the already paid customer. Room HVAC system a broken mess, room way less than clean, lacked proper stock of towels and hangars (never rectified after several requests), more but I will stop.

Floors in bathroom had been cleaned in many days. Dead bugs, hair, rocks, brown smirred stuff on the floor. Toilet had hair on it. Hadn’t been vacuumed. No coffee pot in the room.

Hotel is in rough shape. Looked better in pictures. Checked in and when I got to my room, it was still torn apart. This was at 4:00 PM. I had to go to front desk and get a different room.

Got there and one of the beds was broken. Son cut his foot pretty badly. Then got moved to a room we shouldnt have been in. So one else walked into our room. Then got downgraded to standard room. Not happy at all.

Carpet was torn in the room and there was a whole in the wall from the entry door.

We enjoy staying at this property due to the convenient location. We were in town for soccer and we enjoyed the weekend in Mitchell.

Over all the room was dirty. I found some trash under furniture and the bathroom floor had not been cleaned. The bath tube didn't drain properly. The pool was dirty also. I wouldn't recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.

Property needs some maintenance and upkeep. Bathroom was functional but showing its age with stains and trim with holes. Sheets and towels were also stained. Walls were wall papered with wall hangings that were not hung very well.

Didn’t get the room we had payed for.. service was slow and room had to be rushed clean. So it wasn’t clean. Hair left on shower walls. Will not be back.

Outside door key wouldn’t work. Door wouldn’t shut without pushing it hard. Staff wasn’t super helpful with the problem.

This hotel was filthy. Hair everywhere, dirty plastic utensils on the floor, ripped carpeting, dirty tile in the bathroom. Overall filthy. We picked this hotel for the hot tub and exterior room entrance. Hot tub didn't work and they didn't tell us. Let busses park outside the rooms and plug into the exterior room outlet. Busses started at 5am blowing diesel in the poorly sealed room waking us up. Called the front desk to discuss everything and she sat there not saying a word. I asked if she was going to say anything and her response was "I don't know what you want me to say". Horrible horrible customer service went right along with a horrible hotel. Stay anywhere else!

Don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but wish I’d skipped this one. Room cleanliness was subpar, family unable to swim due to hot tub being cold and pool sketchy. Not the worst experience but far from the best.

I have stayed here many times and never had any complaints, but this time the room was not very clean and needs to be upgraded and have some improvements. I found a prehistoric French fry next to the night stand filth and crud behind the refrigerator and television stand. The curtain was torn and the bathtub is needing to be replaced. I don't think I will be booking a stay here again.

Unfortunately the number of dogs in the hotel and unattended by owners the place started sounding like a kennel.

The bed was amazingly comfortable. We stayed in the suite, so the jetted tub was a really nice treat. The room was clean and comfortable.

Everything was great! But I think that ALL motels should have recliners available for people that need one to sleep. People have medical issues etc that can not sleep in a bed.

The rooms were extremely dirty. Unattended dog in next room barked continuously and management did NOTHING to rectify the situation. Extremely understaffed!

We choose the Kelly Inn and Suites every year when we travel through to Minnesota. Being pet friendly and the hotel location is why it is the perfect place for us to stay.

After arriving our room heater didn’t work, and after staying for one night and talking to the front desk it still didn’t work.
We got moved to another room which the heater only worked part time. I assume the heat element was about to go out on that unit also.
The hot tub does not work, after talking to the front desk they said they’d have a repair order placed. The next night they said it was fixed, and this ended up being untrue.
The building is needing some updating and repairs.

I've stayed at the Kelly over a number of years. It's a good property, but aging and showing it. The rooms were clean; breakfast as expected, staff very friendly and helpful. No problems.

Fine, great location. Stayed here a couple years ago and we’re much more impressed. Warmer welcome, lots of folks staying, nicer/cleaner room (not dirty, just dated, run down). Where are all the customers? We did get a first floor room, though, and were very happy with easy access door to the outside.
