Nice for an older building. Pics on line were a bit deceiving on how large the rooms were. I arrived late in day and bar server was overwhelmed and didn’t even acknowledge me. Casino beverage server needs some education with giving change. I wound up just leaving and going to my room. Disappointed due to I booked here to go to the casino and didn’t.

Staff at desk were very friendly, restaurant closed on Mondays and doesn't open till 11am. This is not good for people looking for breakfast.
Hotel is old, they have done well trying to update.

The hotel is good. It is centrally located and surrounded by everything you need. Rooms are clean and comfortable and are reasonably priced. I would stay here again.

It is an older hotel so if you are looking for a three star or more, this isn’t it.
For the price it met expectations. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were courteous, the resturaunt/lounge are what I you expect for this hotel. Overall suited our needs for a good sleep.

It is so comfortable. The bedding I had to check where they got the bedspread because I would like one. I liked the big shower as opposed to a bathtub.

Reserved two rooms. First room beside the laundry and very small and noisy. Second room larger but large stain on floor. This hotel needs updating.

I booked online and upon arrival, the front desk clerk said let me move you to a quieter room. The room he gave us was on the top floor, at the farthest end of the hall…the room was tiny, with no closet, and before we had a chance to open our luggage, our door was opened by another employee who thought the room was empty. Also, there was a robe hanging in the bathroom belonging to, I presume, a previous guest. We won’t be returning!

Have stayed here before. Good value. Rooms are small. Could hear people in room above us and in the hall, luckily we were near the end of the hallway. Bed is comfortable. Only complaint is the carpet was stained which made me want to keep my shoes until I went to bed. Rest of room was clean. I wished the fellow checking me out would have asked how my stay was and I would have told him about the carpet.

Although this hotel is very pretty and I loved the antique room decor, my room had an awful smell (322). It was a combo of stale cigarette smoke and must. The walls at this hotel are paper thin - I could hear word for word what the people next door were saying to each other. I heard every door shut around me and every loud car/truck go by on the street below. Needless to say, I got very little sleep. I would not stay here again.

They have both an elevator and a Titanic-like staircase. In the bathroom there are two toilet paper dispensers. There is a casino!

We had a very pleasant stay! The property is very clean, the staff are efficient and it is close to everything. For a slightly older hotel, it is very well maintained.

Excellent hotel. Really good value for the price paid. Very clean rooms, bathrooms were modern, air conditioning in rooms. Restaurant was good and prices were reasonable. Even though its in downtown Quesnel it was quiet at night.

I've stayed here four times over the last seven years and it's one of the better hotels in Quesnel. It's location is second to none with the downtown area with various eating establishments within easy walking distance.
For some reason I kept getting out in a room that looked out over the attached restaurant's extraction and air-conditioning fans which, even with windows closed, are a constant source of noise. Otherwise, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are quirky, but clean.

I really enjoyed staying here. Very unique building made to look like a paddle boat! Rooms were very clean and tidy. The bathrooms were great, all new fixtures. The only thing that I would've liked would have been a fan in the bathroom as there is no window but other than that it was brilliant!
