The concierge, Zack, tops off the stay, and makes guests feel special. It is so important to get good advice for a city and you will be very impressed with the service you receive from Zack, just like you would receive at a fine five star hotel.
The property is lovely, the pool can use a little updating, however, our stay was early in the season, so I’m sure improvements were coming.

Anniversary weekend. Had booked spa but there was an emergency issue and it had to close so we ended up going into town. Wasn’t bad but dinner and breakfast took a long time at the restaurant and was ok. Weather was not great day of but Sunday was beautiful, beautiful property.

First rate lodge, probably the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed in, the staff was great and made us feel very welcome, breakfast in the Timberlake restaurant was very good as was the service. We look forward to our next stay at Chetola!

Our room was ok, but looked dated. It also had a connecting door to the room beside us, and you could hear every word the people next to us said. The hair dryer was sparking and didn’t work well. Not what I expected for the price

We visited Chetola on a snowy evening in January and felt that we were truly transported to another place. Beautiful facility with warm, accommodating staff and service. We’ll be back!

Rooms are clean and beds are actually comfortable. All the staff we encountered were polite. The restaurant there is pricy but convenient and the waitresses were pretty good also. Would stay here again.

This is a beautiful place to stay if you’re there to enjoy the area for Christmas. We were so close to Tweetsie and the property itself is beautifully decorated inside and out for the holiday. Our room was clean and cozy. The staff at the Lodge and in the restaurant were so friendly. We hope to visit again!

Everything was lovely and well designed. The staff were very friendly.
The hot tub jets did not put out enough power but it was a nice, large hot tub and the environment was quite pleasing.

The room was clean, but the showers have a “safety feature” that stops them from getting hot. It was cold in the mountains and we wanted warm showers. They sent a repairman but he said he couldn’t override the safety lock that stopped the shower handle from going more than 3/4 of the way toward hot. Big bummer to be shivering in and after our showers. Also would have appreciated a coffee station in the lobby so we could get some fresh coffee whenever, instead of that terrible in-room kind.

We were put in a room two doors down from someone with a dog who barked for hours. When we complained at the front desk, they said that there was nothing they could do.

We spent $450 for one night and our room was mediocre at best. The property is lovely no doubt, but the lights that line the fence and make everything look magically were only partially lit. The property was supposedly full but there was no fire on a nice autumn night to enjoy in the pit.
We went down for dinner to the restaurant with many many open tables and were told that they had no availability. They told us we could eat in the bar but there was no open seating there. We said we would go to our room and order room service but were then told they only had 2 chefs and they were not be providing room service, even though at check in we were given room service menus and invited to order for breakfast lunch or dinner.
Everyone was very nice. We checked out the same evening and were given a full refund.
I realize it is very difficult to find people to work these days but the price charged per night is not moderate… so if the service provided is not top notch , they might want to think about reducing their rates.

Too many stairs, not enough handicap parking, too small a sign indicating wheelchair entrance, need signage inside of elevators indicating what is on each floor, need luggage carts on each floor at checkout time. Didn't get room I requested.

Our room was right across the hall from a meeting that was going on. They kept the doors open during the event and it was very very loud. Should have only given the 1st floor rooms to people attending the meeting. Not very relaxing.

Chetola Resort is a decent resort. My issue with it was a very large amount of noise in every area except out room, food that was occasionally good - large portions but bland and actually inedible at times - and the servers in the pub were argumentative, overworked, and refused to stop complaining about the fact Disney had removed ESPN from Spectrum. The amount they charged for two nights to overlook the carpark was really high, so I expected a prime resort, but I won't go back for the price I paid. First time in eight months the husband and I got time to get away, and it was disappointing. Sad because the property has possibilities, but not worth the very high room price.

Quiet and lovely setting. Had stayed there off/on for many years. This visit was the first time bathroom was not clean, maids were very loud outside in hall/doors slamming, and could hear room next door making coffee through the walls. Felt was very expensive -all things considered.

Air conditioner did not dehumidify and no one available to look at it. They us to next time call them to book. Very expensive...not worth it
