Great place, very nice, clean and good location. The service was outstanding and we loved the hotel overall. Only one comment - the pillows were a bit too high and stiff for our liking, but my experience is that this is the same issue in many other places. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again in the future.

This gem impressed us as soon as we came in the lobby and saw the curved antique staircase and impressive carvings. The staff checking us in were very pleasant and helpful each time we had questions throughout our stay. Our room was large and very clean with nice linens and comfortable pillows ( I am particularly picky about linens and pillows) We chose a room with a jetted tub to help sooth our aches after a 12 hour car ride, and were pleased to find the large jetted tub along with a deep soaking tub in the bathroom. A nice bonus was a small patio balcony which would have been utilized if it were not snowing. The room was very quiet with some black out drapes so we really did get some rest. But before turning in we enjoyed the Italian restaurant on property which has excellent food and excellent service. The stay was more than we hoped for and we highly recommend this hotel. A nice Bonus was a large outlet mall only a couple of miles away. Thank you to all involved for a great experience and hats off to whom ever found the longest peppermill for the restaurant , to allow us a healthy chuckle.

When we arrived, we were given the wrong room. Upon check-in we were mixed up with another guest. Had to take all our stuff downstairs and then back up to the correct room. Bed was comfortable but did make quite a bit of noise when getting in and out. There were shutters between the bathroom and the bed. This made for a major lack of privacy when someone was using the washroom. (Not romantic, at all) The television did not swivel very easily, and when we tried to move it, it felt as if it was going to fall off of mount. Also, the tv was stuck in a mode that the aspect ratio was off and we could only see part of the screen, despite going through all of the settings. The room was mostly quiet, however it does face a main street, so noisy when the window is open. Although there were these things to detract from our stay, we still enjoyed the space for the short time we were here, especially being close to many amenities.

Checkin was super easy, the free self parking is a nice change from other properties. The hotel is gorgeous with large rooms decorated beautifully. Would highly recommend 👌

My husband and I love the Stone Mill Inn. We come fairly often. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and it has a small hotel feel. There is a restaurant right in the hotel along with others nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is a great place to stay!

The pull out couch in our room (208) is broken. You sit on it and it sinks in the middle like something out of a movie. We didn’t realize this until 11pm. The room was decently clean. If you open the door between our room and the adjoining one there was a bunch of old towels stuffed in there which was gross. And we only had one roll of toilet paper given to us.

Cleanliness was my major concern. Even after I made it known, and the hotel gave me a voucher and a bottle of wine as an apology, the garbage under the sink was still not emptied and the debris around the bed (from a previous guest) were still not cleaned. If obvious things have not been cleaned, what are the non obvious that one should worry about!!??

Excellent quiet place in St Catharine’s It served as a great base to tour the Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Nice bonus as we toured the Welland Locks & canal easy drive from the Inn Karen was so helpful to make sure we were able to get in safely for our late arrival after a long day of driving.

Very spacious room and super clean! Love how the room is set up, where the TV and the sofa and the bed are aligned and you can watch TV in a comfy position either way. And I have a huge area to place my yoga mat and do yoga as well! Parking is free. And staff also told us there’s a Stacked right behind the hotel had grand opening, offered amazing brunch at very reasonable pricing.
