The rooftop bar/restaurant was amazing with the view. The room was spacious and clean. The only downside was the mountain facing room was loud from the traffic noise. We were on the seventh floor under the rooftop bar and could hear chairs sliding till closing time.

In town for dance competition. Staff wonderfully helpful!!!!

Great customer service. Especially Apr 4 evening when front desk lady assisted us with hot chocolate.

This is a great hotel with lovely large rooms and very helpful staff. It’s conveniently located within walking distance to downtown. However, we were disappointed that we were charged $25 per day for parking with no notice.

Excellent place to stay. EV charger for our car. Great location within easy walking distance to downtown restaurants. Great rooftop bar to watch the sunset over the mountains. Staff was fantastic and helpful.

Clean and really nice. Good service, safe location and a rooftop bar. We walked everywhere from the hotel.

Stayed 5 nights, Jan 2024; 2 parents and a teenager; Overall a very nice hotel. Clean attractive lobby and rooms, great breakfast buffet for about $15 made it one of the better brkfst options for the area, great staff. The Montford Rooftop Bar was also a pleasant surprise - casual atmosphere, great small plates, a fantastic view.
But some things we didn't like.
"City View" is no view at all. It is a completely blocked view of the hotel across the street.
Also, we love a downtown AVL hotel because we prefer to walk everywhere. On the west edge of what I consider the "center" city area, definitely within 15 min walk to the entire downtown, which is great. But one night, walking home from dinner (about 8 pm?), a young person asked us for a cigarette (we are not smokers), and then immediately followed us in the dark for a few blocks on the deserted street, until we reached the hotel. It made us very uncomfortable. Not the hotel's fault, but that night we wished we wished we were staying in a busier area, and we were more hesitant to go out after dark for the rest of the trip.
And finally - I hated the in room TV. The remote / TV channel system was painfully difficult to use / clunky.

Great staff. Rooms were large and very nice. Liked the staff in roof top bar but food was way to pricey for amount.

I paid booked my room early, paid for a HIGH FLOOR room corner views, upon arrival was told no high rooms available. Unacceptable customer service.

Great location close to downtown with well appointed rooms. Take advantage of provided noise machine if you are on one of the lower floors.

Friendly staff, comfortable & spacious rooms, easy parking, convenient location, nice rooftop bar.

My only complaint was that the carpet in our room appeared stained/dirty from possible pets or spilled liquids.

Room was spacious. Bathroom was very well thought out. Lots of counter space and good shower.
Nice roof top bar and coffee in am.

The place was awesome. The manager, Carl, was super helpful and upgraded me to a suite since I was only there for one night! Asheville was amazing and I will definitely be going back there. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was I went to the rooftop bar at like 9something they said the kitchen was closed and said downstairs was open. Went down there and the gentleman there was not super helpful. We asked him to turn it to football which he replied he didn’t think there was any on. It was Sunday night…there was football on lol. So he finally looked. And he was really unhelpful about the food. He wasn’t rude or anything just not helpful. But other than that it was a great stay.

Ditch the pool. Add a hot-tub.

Roof top bar was beautiful views and great food. The bartenders were great.

Beautiful property. Modern and well maintained. When asked at the front desk if we preferred mountain or city view, we chose mountain. Bad decision! The noise from the highway was very loud all day and night. Choose city!!

Poor value for the cost. Rooms are dated. Parking is an additional cost and the lot is tight.

Good location, modern hotel, decent breakfast buffet Staff helpful and friendly. Avoid rooms on 7th floor under rooftop bar as there is a lot of noise from upstairs until midnight.

Overall the hotel was fine. TV menu/navigation was worst I have experienced in years. Neighborhood got sketchy quick if you went in the wrong direction.

Wasnt expecting to get a Accessible room, but the extra space was welcomed. they are building another hotel next door and they were working right outside our window pretty early in the AM (7AM). my only complaint would be the toilet paper was pretty cheap based on the cost per night, something more in line if staying in a Super8...overall a nice place.

We arrived and parking was atrocious. They charged $22.00 a day for parking that we weren't made aware of. The Valet staff dressed like they were a construction crew. The Breakfast ended at 10am instead of 10:30 am and the day we actually went to Breakfast at 9:40 they told us it was ending in a few minutes at 9:45am as opposed to 10am. Our window in our room faced a disgusting building under construction. Every Morning we were awaken very early in the Morning with Truck beeping in use for the construction site. 4 Star hotel? I don't think so.

Nice hotel to stay in. Presently in an area being gentrified. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Rooms very clean and comfortable. We tried to view the sunset from the roof top bar but were denied entry because we hadn’t booked to see the sunset from a hotel we were guests of????
Would have been nice if the staff has given us the heads up to book when we checked in.

Newish with all of the typical offerings that this type of hotel offers but felt that it was more expensive without the value-add. Was a little disappointed with this especially discovering that it overlooks the interstate with its volume of noise practically day and night. To give you an idea the room includes a white noise generator. Not what I expected for the premium.

Overall, as a relatively new property benefits from the many attributes of modern and well planned features....location, construction techniques, appointments, on site parking, roof top bistro and more. Current 2023 status is somewhat compromised by adjacent new construction project of Embassy Suites

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Ashville. The hotel was excellent and we would stay again.

Hotel is right next to the interstate. Road noise was very loud all night long. A sound machine in the room should have been a big red flag. Don’t stay here if you want any sleep!

Great spot, close to downtown. Walkable. Good for and beverage choices in house, too.

Our room was OK, however, the shower vent/light fixture clearly is long overdue for replacement. The fan motor was so loud, we could not stand to turn it on. Fortunately, there was enough light from the other lights in the bathroom.
Also, outside road noise was really bad. The white noise maker and ear plugs are all that made it possible to sleep. They should get some sound experts and find better solutions. We would not stay there again or recommend it for that reason.

Modern upmarket hotel. Slightly out of town past the drunk and drug users. Construction work next door has noise starting from 7am. Workers see into room even on 3rd floor. Great bar on roof terrace with stunning views ruined experience by ignorance of staff serving their friends over paying customers waited 20 mins then walked out. Was sat at the bar and staff never once acknowledged our existence. On arrival 3 car park valets but only one over worked stressed person on reception wearing a basket ball shirt. Obviously called in on short notice. She was efficient and apologetic… lovely staff at breakfast. However, maids, Beds not made but room cleaned. Drinks in room not replaced after use. Toilet flush intermittently broken. Disappointing stay to be fair…for the money
