Average stay for a lot of money.

Spa treatments Swimming pool Spacious ryad

AC was inconsistent and didn’t work for the first day. None in breakfast restaurant either. We were promised our parents would be looked after for the day they were there themselves but they were asked to leave the room earlier than agreed and had to stay out in the heat for the whole rest of their last day. No response when I emailed my complaint. Had to ask at least twice or remind again when ordered something at restaurant or to the room. Considering it’s a small boutique feeling hotel, there isn’t a lot of personal feeling or understanding of their visitors.

The location is perfect and a few minutes walk from the markets ! the hotel is beautiful and extremely clean! and the staff are really nice and helpful

Staff, location, facilities, food were all exceptional. Spa was wonderful Breakfast delicious Room was so huge and I've never had so much wardrobe space in any other hotel.

would stay again if the Wi-Fi was sorted location is great

the ryad was beautiful with incredible furnishings hotel resto was decent albeit I got a dodgy stomach from a meal one day the location is the best thing though you can walk pretty much anywhere in marrakech within 20 mins

Wi-Fi was terrible all the way through, service was patchy apart from when you complained and the manager got involved who was incredible by the way - really went out of his way after the issue happened to make sure we were happy. but fix the Wi-Fi honestly a 5* hotel like that to have poor Wi-Fi is not good enough - just couldn’t work there all the way through the trip

Comfortable but lack lustre service and not all facilities working.

The room was to hot and the thermostat didn't work. It took a lot of hassling the concierge to get her to bother doing anything about it. The Hammam had no steam in it. Not things you expect from a very expensive high end hotel.

great location - walk out into the madness of Marrakech or walk inside for peace and quiet. The Medina is only 10 minutes away. large rooms, big breakfast buffet. large pool area.

only negatives were that the pool wasn’t heat nor was the indoor pool in the spa

Exceptional!

We had the 3 bedroom Riad, it was something special, the pictures don’t do justice, the staff was so attentive, the Riad was so specious, would definitely come again and recommend it to everyone!

Great location and fantastic pool, however less luxurious than we hoped for and than the photos.

Great location and super size pool

We booked a 3 bed riad but we’re allocated a 4 bed riad so no roof terrace. The riad was a little tired in terms of furnishings and the kitchen was very badly equipped. We had to ask several times for water daily and refills of tea and coffee. Overall the hotel was not as luxurious as I would have expected from a Groupe Barrière and the riad in particular was well used and a little damaged considering the age of the hotel so we were a bit disappointed.

would recommend and very helpful staff.

pleasant nice size rooms very comfortable bed. the jacuzzi was huge and really nice. the staff were very obliging.

TV was very old hat, and remote didn’t work the rooms were fine but a little updating wouldn’t go amiss

Fantastic stay in a brilliant hotel

I loved the size and location of the room. The staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was ideally situation to explore the wonders of Marrakech. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

I would have likes to have used the spa more but it may not have been as welcoming as I would have hoped.

Service around the pool could have been slightly better - good but not great - we got tired of waiting one lunchtime to be served and gave up

The best stay

Excellent staff and facilities. Wonderful hotel.

Some guest seemed to take over the pool area which was a shame but not alot can be done about that.

AVOID. Not a five star. Spa doesent function. Beds extremely uncomfortable.

The location was good, The staff were mostly exceptional, especially Soleman on reception, the outside pool staff and breakfast staff were all fantastic and helpful, sadly for these incredible people they are within a hotel that is not a five star and shouldn’t advertise itself as such.

Sadly for the exceptional staff at this hotel has the rest of the hotel was incredibly poor. THE ‘SPA’: the main indoor pools/spa pool were not functioning for four out of the five days that we were there, the water in the indoor pool was almost as cold as the outdoor pool, the Hamams were not working for three out of the five days we were there. in the end my friend and I had to go externally and spent an extra £400!! during our stay to go to other Hamams and spa’s in order to have the relaxing holiday we had planned. CHECK OUT: we think what was more insulting that upon check out when we again gave this feedback, all the members of reception staff looked at each other smiled and said ‘yes we know we have many issues with the spa, it’s not good’ - this was mind-blowing. if they had known this we would’ve expected some compensation going on the fact that this hotel is a spa hotel ! THE SUITE: comfort was also a huge issue, we were staying in their most expensive room per night, The Suite, but this was very tired, The pillows were old stained and extremely lumpy, and the bed was so uncomfortable and hard we did not get a good night sleep the entire time we were there.
