Great location and very clean and comfortable. Loved the view of the ocena from the room.

Very quiet and serene setting with excellent access to the beach. Perfect room for our pups. Had a rustic cheque vibe. Could use some maintenance and despite the sugar ants we had a very pleasant stay.

Worse experience ever

Everything was great. My only complaint was the lighting in the bathroom (the whole room really) was terrible. Really difficult to get ready and do hair/make up.

Room was nice and proximity to beach and boardwalk was great. Staying in a Pool House room, which was clean and loved the French press coffee. Walls were thin and could hear neighbors, also screaming children in the pool. When we used the heated pool, there were no clean towels and the temp of the water was lukewarm. Jetted tub in our room didn't work. Probably would stay elsewhere next time we visit Long Beach.

We stayed in the beach house, on the first floor. The walls were quite thin, and our neighbors above were quite loud. The bed was ok comfort-wise, not great. The room was very clean and the staff were lovely. The location is awesome (even though our room did not have an ocean view).

Lovely corner suite with an incredible view of the ocean. Very well-designed, cozy room. CeeCee at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming. I would stay here again!

No fireplace as told, it was a non working gas heater. No view, the patio was boarded up with tall plywood sides on all 3 sides. Some other guests, used feminine garbage in the bathroom. Unfinished bare light bulb in the shower with ragged sheet rock and texture. The water has SO MUCH BLEACH IT made our lab throw up. It burned our eyes. I’m so grateful I brought our drinking water from Oregon. It was supposed to be our celebration of our wedding anniversary and Valentine’s Day.

The suite was gorgeous, loved the barn door and wood floors. It was so cozy. Loved the heated pool and sauna. It was a short walk to the trail, beach and boardwalk, however it was a few blocks away from the downtown area.
We will definitely be back!

Fantastic stay but should be done during summertime for maximum enjoyment!

The lady at check in was extremely rude. So the trip did not start off great. Everything else besides check in was good and enjoyable.

This was my first time staying here. I was extremely pleased with the property. My room was beyond my expectations. Lots of parking bed was very comfortable. Crack the window a bit and you can hear the ocean. Enjoyed the saunas and the pool. Very easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

Not the best weather for it but we had a very relaxing, quiet Christmas weekend looking out at the ocean.

Loved our stay at Inn at Discovery Coast! The room and property had a rustic elegance, with all of the amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The site fails to mention all of the wonderful extras they offer! Free EV charging, saunas and heated saltwater pool, free bike rentals.
The room had a great ocean view. Listening to the ocean in front of a fireplace made for a perfect winter stay at the beach!

Loved the gas fireplace, can not say anything bad about this property except you better know how to use a French coffee press for coffee ☕️ We had to look it up on U tube

It was all very nice

The view of the ocean from this property is beautiful. I enjoyed keeping the door open at night while we slept. The room was spacious and well cleaned. This place felt like the perfect romantic getaway. The restaurant at the sister hotel was wonderful.

Just amazing and exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and cozy. The room also had everything that you might need, a lot of thoughtfulness went into making this room very special. The pool and sauna were amazing and had a great low key vibe. This is literally now my go to place for a stay at the beach.

Lovely room that looks hot over the ocean. Ideally suited for us to have such great access. Also, conveniently located by a very good restaurant called the Pickled Fish. Live music was being performed while we dined.

The place is beautiful and the location is perfect. The saline pool is amazing and the saunas are nice. I do with there was a hot tub. The restaurant is rather expensive and the hotel does not offer breakfast with your stay nor any type of discount to the restaurant. The cost of the hotel is far too high for what you get.
I am unhappy to report the bed was terrible and neither my husband nor I slept, I did report this directly to the hotel upon checkout. It felt like laying on a bunch of down blankets. The edges of the bed were firm, but the center just sank, we were not able to move throughout the night and woke up very sore.
There is also no AC available in the room; heat only which is provided via propane fireplace. Please note there is no elevator so any 2nd or 3rd story rooms will require walking up and down many stairs.

By far one the best hotels we’ve ever stayed. So cute inside and THE BEST BED in the world. Easy walking distance to the beach too!
4.0
Beautiful setting with a view of the ocean. Easy beach access. Away from the touristy stuff. Soft comfy bed. Room nicely decorated, but there were a few minor things I wasn’t thrilled with. The bathroom has 2 barn doors, so it’s not very private. If you don’t care about that, no big deal, but I prefer a door that closes on hotel bathrooms if I’m sharing the room with someone. There is also a sliding barn door window to allow for a view from the bathroom. Nice if alone, but not if wanting privacy. There wasn't any shelf in the shower to put toiletries. Odd. Had to put them on the floor. It's a tiny shower too.
The building wasn’t very sound proof in general. We heard the people above us and people climbing the stairs. The shower/bath water was lukewarm at night and in the morning. Maybe we were just unlucky.
The room was clean, but the windows were black.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed Saturday morning, which we didn’t expect, so we had to change our plans last minute.
The staff was nice, but could have been more informative about the restaurant being closed, and that they sold pastries in the main office as an alternative. I understand staffing is challenging these days though.
The bikes were free to borrow and we had a nice ride on Discovery Trail, which was great.
All in all I may stay there again if I'm ever back in Long Beach. It was a peaceful place. Modern with a retro vibe.

Lovely. Most romantic hotel in the area, highly recommend to couples

The stay overall was great for my dogs. Super close to the beach, so my dogs had ample of space to run around. The hotel was extremely dog friendly, they allowed dogs in the lobby and had doggy treats in the corner. Their shop even featured some items for dogs. There was dog poop bags around the corner which was very accessible.
The parking was convenient. Just park wherever on the gravel.
The room I got was nice. Wasn’t necessarily very big, but it had just enough room for my dog beds. It came with a fan, which was nice. The room itself was not hot at all, as we were by the beach. Cute little patio, even though there were some webs on the lawn chairs.
Amazing jet tub, we took full advantage of that.
It had a cute little French press where we made coffee in the morning, while we microwaved our leftovers.
Not a fan of the bed itself though. Size was extremely big, but it was low and your whole body just sank in. It was some sort of memory foam mattress, so once you lie down, it’s hard to get up. The pillow had no fluff in it, so it feels like you’re just sleeping on the mattress directly.
Staff was nice and really chill. Extremely casual place.

This place was wonderful! The bed was so comfy we passed out the moment our heads hit the pillows 😊

My husband and I wanted some quiet relaxation in a scenic location; the trip delivered! The room was clean and well-equipped with plenty of towels, soaps, and skin lotion. We slept well in the comfortable bed. It seemed a little awkward checking in next door rather than on-site, but this worked out fine. Friendly staff, too!
