A great experience of Victorian mansion and the unique furnishings and features. Made use of the billiards table and never missed the TV.

My stay was comfortable. The Vineyard Mansion is beautiful, and I particularly enjoyed the warmth of having the family pets around. My only concern is with Hotels.com, which has failed to issue me a refund for the one day I reduced my reservation, and which makes it impossible to speak to anyone about it. This speaks poorly for Hotels.com and reflects poorly on my overall experience.

3 night stay was lovely. The carriage house had all the amenities you'd expect plus more. The little extras in the pantry, (spices, etc), were so thoughtful and very appreciated.

Beautiful house and the kitchen was great! Room was very comfortable. Unfortunately the weather was a bit cold, blustery and rainy, but we enjoyed our stay inside.

We loved it!! There are so many unique homes in St Joesph! This Bed&Breakfast goes above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. Fully stocked kitchen, to pool table and more...The on-site hosts are very nice. I had accidentally lock myself out of my room and "Bruce" was over right away to help me get back in my room and get my keys. This 5 room mansion (some rooms over 500 sq ft w/bathroom) will NOT disappoint!

Beautiful home! It was spacious and the furnishings were perfect for the period of the home. The host made us feel right at home.

I love the mansion and the inn keeper was so sweet. The place is very clean and beautiful. I think you should make breakfast. If that is an issue have a dishwasher. We have a couple handicaps so the stair very beautiful just were a lot for us. The pictures and decor very nice.

Uncomfortable bed- cat in the house - dark neighborhood- smoke alarm chirping as soon as I went to bed- the gentleman fixed it in about an hour.
I paid more for a B&B than I should have- a hotel would have been a better option

Very cozy and well stocked in a quiet peaceful neighborhood

We really liked the carriage house, it was clean, quiet, well-stocked, and has lots of charm. It was like staying in a 2-bedroom apartment!

Was homey atmosphere. If you book the Crown Room the bathroom facilities are not in room so come prepared to walk down a small hallway. Advertised as pay at property...this means the property will take your payment . Expedia will not charge your card immediately but the property will.. overall had a nice visit and was a very comfortable stay. WI-FI Conection was not consisten. Luckily I was there for pleasure and not work.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of the older home and beautiful furnishings. The owner is warm and friendly and very welcoming. My time in this lovely home was relaxing and really elevated my mood.

I was looking for a quiet place to get an early nights sleep for an extra early start to my business day in the St Joeseph area. This was definately the perfect choice. Available snacks and a friendly host as well as a house cat helped make it feel like a home away frpm home. An interesting history and beautiful furnishings made it even better. After arriving only about 45 min before I hoped to call it a night, I was even able to get in a quick game of pool. Breakfast is at your own leisure anytime after 5 a.m. which was perfect for mey schedule. They do not, however cook you bteakfast, you are free to cook whatever you want from the frig.

We enjoyed this beautiful historic home. The only negative was the breakfast. We were allowed to make our own breakfast, but it felt weird using someone else's cookware and rummaging through a community fridge, so we opted to go to Perkins for breakfast. Maybe individual bottles of milk and juice would have been better, but I don't know that the guy before me didn't drink directly out of the jug of milk and put it back on the shelf! My husband worked in the restaurant biz for 50 years and couldn't imagine this would be acceptable to the health department. The room itself was very nice. No decent restaurants nearby that we could find. Neighborhood to the north was a little sketchy. We did enjoy the walking tour of historic homes in the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful experience. I had returned to St. Joseph for a high school reunion and thoroughly enjoyed the Vineyard B&B - it is a gem. The DIY breakfast options were a brilliant idea.

We loved our stay! We had never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast so this was a great first. For the cost we had lots of room, comfort, and a well stocked kitchen with a wide variety of choices to choose from. If we ever come back to St. Joe, I’d absolutely stay again. The only thing I could say was we didn’t have wash cloths. I’m sure I could have called and it would have been taken care of. We think that it would be amazing to get some couples from our circle of friends and rent it out for the weekend for ourselves. We stayed in the Emma Room. Thank you for the great stay!

Beautiful place. Decorated beautifully. Very comfortable.

Nice decor. We had 2 rocking chairs. One was broken the other not comfortable. The bed and seets were very nice. For me the stairs are forbidding a return trip. For most folks it is likely not an issue. Talked to another senior couple staying there. They enjoyed their experience.

This was our first experience with a B&B and this property did not disappoint. For a house that is over 130 years old it was very comfortable even the bed lines were luxurious. It was a hot weekend in St Joe and I had concerns about the A/C but the lower level of the house had central air and our room had a window unit that was more than adequate and even quiet. The modern kitchen and pantry were well stocked. This property has become our go to place to stay when visiting St Joe. We highly recommend it.....

This bed and breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed the historic preservation of the house. The bed was very comfortable too! I was a little disappointed that we had to self serve our breakfast ( I look forward to the amazing breakfasts), however the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed ! They had snacks and even had cookie dough if you wanted to make cookies. We had a great experience. I would stay here again if we go this way again !!

Property is an absolute gem of historic restoration. Very rich 1890s atmosphere. Quiet historic neighborhood. Very specialized. Not for those who want seamless service. I scared the caretaker by showing up at a late hour. Breakfast facilities self-service but very appealing and ample. Amazing antique ambiance.

This is a very old house, they have done an amazing job restoring it so far. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The on site host was lovely and had cinnamon rolls and coffee ready in the morning. The fully stocked kitchen was great and we didn’t mind fixing ourselves breakfast.
Talking to the host was nice, she told us some history of the house and about some of the restoration. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay

Understanding this is vintage. No mention of the massive stairs, in any description or pictures offered. Which would have been at least worth a mention as it caused us to shorten our stay. The upkeep such as paint, floors ect were less than desirable.

It was amazing to see its architecture. The cleanliness inside, along with the kindness and generous hospitality that was provided, really made it feel like a home away from home.

This place is a dump! Surrounding area is unsafe. Boarded up homes, no.parking. advertised as a b&b but its not. Food in frig was rotten. Place smelled like cat urine

My only suggestion would be to light the outdoor sign so you know you are in the right place.

This was a very beautiful, comfortable bed and breakfast with a late 1800s feel. They made for a welcoming make yourself at home atmosphere. If you have a group of family or friends that need a group place to stay, have them come here.

It is a wonderful old mansion setting. When you are trying to sleep in the middle of the night and the bedroom activity of an adjacent room down the hall is keeping you awake it's not exactly a pleasant experience. We chose to leave after the second night of a three night reservation.

I like the historic mansion ... just so much fun to look at the old decor... i like the gas range for cooking, all of it... the place is not 100% restored but by staying here you feel like you are helping to rescue this beauty..

First of all this home is beautiful inside & out. The mansion is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you wanted. The loved that I could make my own breakfast & eat it at my convenience. Street parking was available, getting in was easy. I would stay again!
