Fantastic property and location. Rooms were excellent, little extras like Nespresso coffee in room and luxurious robes. Heated underground parking included in room rate and the pool and hot tub views are breath taking. Would stay here again!!

Beautiful view from our room

The room had an amazing view of the mountains. Unfortunately it was very crowded between the end of the bed and entertainment stand & between the 2 beds was also very crowded. Our daughter in a wheelchair could only go 1 direction & not be able to turn around any where in the room other the entrance. We couldn’t get the accessible room as it was booked for the date we were departing. Which made no sense. We called in to see about booking it as well and told sorry not available as it’s booked for next day … very unfortunate as there’s not many hotels in the Banff national park that are accessible and we know the Malcolm is as we have used it in the past.

Our stay was amazing

I didn’t like the fact that it was too noisy. Specially if your room is close to the swimming pool. I didn’t like the fact that I wasn’t notified. There was going to be pets in the same floor I stayed you could hear dogs barking first thing in the morning and all the time

Very sound proof, comfortable beds, slept so well, loved the shower.

We stayed right before Christmas and the hotel was so lovely decorated with all the beautiful Christmas trees and the staff at the Malcolm were so hospitable! Definitely coming back to stay again!❤️

Amazing property. We have been a few times and I cant complain about anything. We didnt get a room upgrade as we took dogs with us. But we got other upgrades as compensation. I really love this place its one of only two hotels that never disappoint me.

A beautiful view of the Three Sisters mountains. Nice to have the hot tubs and pool. The lobby and common areas are always well looked after and well decorated.

Was great, but some flatter pillows could be an option the ones supplied were comfortable but just to tall

Overall the Malcolm is wonderful, it is a very beautifully done hotel that is exactly what comes to mind when you think of a mountain town hotel in a movie, the grand lobby when you walk in is stunning, and all of the staff we encountered from check in, to check out we’re wonderful! I cannot remember the name of the young fellow who served us in the restaurant, but we found his service to be above and beyond, as we were only staying one night this time as a stopover on a quick weekend trip, we arrived fairly late at night, about 20 minutes before the kitchen closed in the restaurant, and he still made sure we had great service, and our food came out tasting delicious and what we expected for the cost, little things like that show a great deal about how they value there guests. The room we stayed in was a “superior king” ours was on the third floor and while we did not have a view of the famous “three sisters” mountain, our room did have a wonderful view of many other breathtaking mountains. The room overall was very spacious and clean, we found the bed to be surprisingly comfortable to sleep in. The only minor drawbacks we found in the room, were that the soaker tub takes quite a long time to fill with the taps they have, probably close to half a hour, but other than that the bathroom was well appointed and quite lovely. I can say for us, The Malcolm met all of our expectations and we cannot wait to stay here again, when we have more time to stay more than one night!

Christmas Tree Festival showcased 84 different christmas trees with a live orcherstra and a tree crowning ceremony.

Stayed 2 nights in a King Premium Mtn View Room (324). Great view of the mountains in the background. Very comfy room and the bed was extra comfy. Used the hot tubs (2) both nights - what a nice way to wind down after a day of hiking and a day of skiing. Didn't use the restaurant. There are a good choice of eateries within a 10-15 minute walk. Underground parking is awesome. No scraping windows in the morning. Helpful staff for directions. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a really nice stay in Canmore. Mid-week rates are reasonable.

Very nice hotel and we enjoyed all the way through our staying until my checkout. Found out restaurant is charging me more than what I’ve paid for all three of my meals. I’ve tried all three meals at the restaurant and all of them are wonderful but I don’t really like being overcharged. I paid attention to the bill so I got my money back right away but what if I didn’t look at bill? That’s the only disappointing part for my stay.

Very clean, and great staff. Room was great and the views were fantastic.

We received a bit of a chilly welcome from the lady at the front desk when we ask to check-in early. She was not very helpful. However, when we return an hour later, the gentleman who checked us in was great. Our room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The pool and hot tub are amazing, and we really appreciate the extended hours that it is open. The location is perfect for a weekend getaway. We will be back.

We usually choose the Malcom because of its first class amenities but our latest stay fell far short of our expectations. HVAC noise in walls above mini fridge kept us from getting a restful sleep. Pillows were very small and unsupportive. We have stayed here multiple times and were.some of the Malcoms first guests even before construction was completed. We were not even asked whether we enjoyed our stay when checking out. All in all, we were somewhat disappointed.

Enjoyable experience.

The room was super clean, modern and had the best espresso coffee maker! It definitely has a luxury vibe to it without being insanely expensive to stay .... Oh and the outdoor pool and hot tub was amazing too! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only thing is the TV channel selection is next to nil and the 'smart tv's are not actually connected to the internet yet...so bring your laptop of iPad for that.
