My 2nd Home, LLC was founded by a previous General Manager of a Wyndham Resort. She brought her extensive knowledge through years of training on customer safety to this business. The staff at My 2nd Home, LLC is always putting our guest's safety at the top of the list of priorities. We start by providing professionally laundered linens through American Linen Supply Company (ALSCO). This assures your sheets, towels, bathmats, etc. have been cleaned using commercial machines with boilers and commercial grade cleaners which kill more germs than a home washer/dryer can do. We also make sure every surface of the home is wiped down with commercial cleaners with bleach, paying special attention to items such as remote controls, doorknobs, cupboard handles, and anything within the home which are touched by hands on a regular basis. We provide single use products rather than large bottles of shampoos, soaps, etc. which have been used by previous guests. Our goal is for our guests to have a safe, enjoyable time staying at a My 2nd Home property, knowing that the home they are staying in has been cared for and cleaned by the best in the business.

The house was fine and suited our needs, but it has several quirks about it. Two of the rooms were kind of haphazard and possibly not up to code - 1 bedroom had no windows and felt like a cave, and another had no heating or cooling and steps down right at the door so you kind of fall down the stairs when you go in. There have been several updates in the house, but it kind of feels like they were done quickly and not well - oddly installed lights, flooring installed around old baseboards instead of under them, etc. the kitchen was also oddly set up so it was hard to find things (3 different cupboard with glasses, several drawers with just a little silverware in each one, etc). I also would have appreciated more essentials - we had to ask the property management for trash bags (none even in the cans, and even though we were only there in the evenings, we didn’t have enough toilet paper for our short stay. It worked fine for what we needed, but it wouldn’t be our top pick next time.

We stayed to watch the eclipse and also visit Cedar Rapids National Monument. Easy to get around town. My children enjoyed watching the neighbor’s goats and chickens.

We used this home as a place for part of our baseball 10 year old team as well as coaches to stay while in Cedar city. It was a great place for a larger party to be able to stay with plenty of room to relax. The bunk room and additional twin beds were ideal for our younger players, and the home was very clean and inviting. The outside really wasn’t much to speak of and could use a bbq grill, but we rented this home to have a place to sleep and relax inside after baseball games outdoors. We would absolutely rent it again and would give it five stars for the accommodations we experienced!

I love the house! There are some repairs (were that way when we got there...missing siding, messed up flooring in hallway, lights that didn't work) that should be done but overall a nice place to stay!
