The kitchen is open to the sunroom with wall to wall windows overlooking James Cove off Carters Creek. You'll also find two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and full bath (including tub) nearby and the primary bedroom. The primary bedroom offers an en suite bathroom and french doors that open to the deck overlooking the water. The deck also adjoins the main floor common area. LOWER LEVEL Downstairs, there is a gameroom, a bathroom, a TV room, three additional bedrooms, and laundry. Two of the bedrooms have two sets of pyramid bunk beds in each room - a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top. The third bedroom downstairs has a queen bed with a water view. The lower level also includes a TV room with a large sectional couch next to the gameroom which has a ping pong table. Feel free to bring your own gaming systems, etc, for your own entertainment. Sliding glass doors walk out to a shaded outdoor patio with a sectional and picnic table for alfresco enjoyment of the blue crabs caught from the pier! The laundry room has a high capacity wash/dryer and a second refrigerator. OUTDOORS We have a new and expanded dock/pier. It is available for your use and at your own risk. Larger boats may be launched from nearby marinas and boat landings. The cove is about 3 feet deep at low tide. Multiple kayaks, floaties, and life jackets are available (or bring your own) for you to use to explore the cove and surrounding waterways! Users assume all risks. The water is swimmable and has a gradual grade. ~There is ample parking for up to 6 vehicles on the property. ~To allow emergency vehicle access, please only park in the provided gravel driveway Guest access The *NEW* pier/dock is the perfect spot to launch kayaks, dock larger boats, catch some fish and blue crabs. Larger boats may be launched from nearby marinas and boat landings. The cove is about 3 feet deep at low tide. Multiple kayaks, floaties, and life jackets are available (or bring your own) for you to use to explore the cove and surrounding waterways! The water is swimmable and has a gradual grade. The Northern Neck offers several quaint towns - Irvington, White Stone, and Kilmarnock - all just minutes away. There are many seasonal events located in the area. We have golf courses, wineries, boutiques, and wonderful restaurants including many that are waterfront. Charter fishing is sometimes available in the area. It is advisable to book as far in advance as possible. We have a brand new state-of-the-art movie theater and sports complex with a snack bar, restaurant/bar, arcade, climbing walls, bumper cars, obstacle courses, mini golf, batting cages, and rope courses. Hughlett Point is an amazing Nature Preserve with walking Trails and a Natural beach with observation decks to view the abundant wildlife. There are numerous day trips within an hour's distance. These include Busch Gardens and Water Country, the Historic Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, and an abundance of historical sites. WHITE STONE DINING OPTIONS: SANDPIPER restaurant serves fine spirits and wholesome meals within a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Lots of local and fresh seafood options available and plenty of parking available too. Situated on the banks of the Rappahannock, WILLABY'S offers some of the best local seafood this region has to offer. Enjoy your meal and the sunset at the same time. There's even a famous big red chair to watch the sunset in! Parking available. TIKI BAR AND GRILL at WINDMILL POINT is a great place to get local seafood and some cocktails while enjoying live music. Casual and fun too! This is a seasonal restaurant open from about mid-April-to mid-October. Parking available. You can also ride a bike down! CHESAPEAKE DOUGHTNUT is located in the heart of White Stone and serves up scrumptious breakfast treats made with whole ingredients. Here you can find sandwiches, soups, salads, BBQ, crab cakes and ribs. They also have a wide selection of cheese, wine, and beer. This place has something for everyone! Cooking at the house? You have to try some local seafood from MISS MARY SEAFOOD MARKET. Shrimp, crab, oysters, salmon, you name it and they likely have it. The staff is so friendly and welcoming too!
