Perfect place to stay to visit our daughter at college. (be mindful if you book the 2 bedroom castle view suite (worth it) there are 3 full flights of stairs no elevators. The apt was clean and spacious. (we did run out of toliet paper and there was no one to call but we ran out to get some) It is no always easy to get a hold of someone but I have to tell you the people at hotels.com were amazing for help. I think a lady who's name was Anza was such a help. Remember once you put in the code to (push) the door hard to open. It is a little noisy on Friday nights but I would stay there again in a heartbeat. (and get my cardio in)

Apartment is in excellent condition and amenities were great.
The only downside is the location as it’s super noisy 24*7 so not good for light sleepers. Will stay in one of their other locations next time.

The apartment was very nice, cozy, clean in a great area.
The only negative was that i was not prepared to climb 72 steps to the apartment. I should have read the fine print that there was no lift. But a fair warning should be highlighted. My friend had to go to a hotel.

The signage outside is very small and and not really obvious. The "hint" of entrance between "a" and "b" does work.
Front entrance smells funky but apt was fine

Such a lovely apartment to stay with our family in Edinburgh! Clean and well appointed, we wish we had more time there!!

We arrived after a long, overnight flight. Jet lagged and tired and had no idea how to get in. Hauled our suitcases around until we found wifi. No email. Tried chatting and no response. Contacted Expedia who had a phone number, as we had none, and finally got an entry code and apartment number around 4 pm.
Also, clients should be told they will have to get their bags up over 50 stairs on their own.

Super location. Cute apartment with plenty of space. Nice touches throughout. Beds were comfortable. Personally fine with stairs, but not the place for those who cannot manage several flights of stairs. Had a great stay! Definitely recommend!

Great location. Walkable to Victoria st and grass market. So many food and ice cream shops nearby. Walkable to Edinburgh castle as well. Love the vibe of the city. Hosts were great communicator. One of the twin beds in the bigger room slipped a bit.. so I had my daughter sleep in that one…LOL! But otherwise beds were very comfortable. Wonderful to have a washer and dryer (all in one) heads up it takes about 4 hours to 1 load. We stayed for 3 nights and they came and cleaned the kitchen and brought fresh towels and made our beds in the middle of our trip, which was a treat. We were in apt. 7 on the top floor so we had 73 stairs every time we went to our apartment… whew!!! But had a great view of the castle from our living room and kitchen window.

Excellent place to stay, very clean and comfortable, near all the attractions. It is difficult to communicate with the hotel if needed.

Perfect city centre location and absolutely stunning apartment! Cant recommend this place enough, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Itll be my first choice when coming back!

The apartment was just what we expected beautiful views, centrally located and everything we needed was in the apartment. Couldn’t fault it.
A little annoyed and very stressed when we arrived as we couldn’t get into the apartment. After a bit we did manage to speak to someone and we had been emailed the wrong apartment number hence why the electronic code wouldn’t work.

Ths property is directly above The Elephant House Cafe where JK Rowling wrote the Harry Potter books.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and the view is fantastic. The unit I was in was noisy at night, but the ear plugs they provided helped. There were some issues with condition of the unit and amenities, which I contacted management about and were fixed on the second day of my stay.

Amazing apartment that is beautiful, warm and welcoming. Great location for everything. Very comfortable bed and sofa with a well equipped kitchen. Fab views and great toiletries.
Wished we had stayed longer and will definitely be back. Already got our friend to book her stay here.

Will definitely return - location perfect for tourist attractions, places to eat etc... Fantastic weekend!

The apartment was very well located, easy to walk to most places. Very clean and tidy. Very little noise from the other guests that were staying. The road down the side of the building was quite noisy on a night time, even though it wasnt that busy due to Covid but earplugs sorted that out. Bit of a hike to the car park but impressive discount mostly made up for that.
Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Perfect for travel!

Superb accommodation in a fantastic location. We had one of the top floor apartments overlooking the Castle and Greyfriars so couldn’t fault anything. Definitely booking again on our next trip!

Fantastic property, beautiful toy styled and in a great location. I would thoroughly recommend and will book again.
4.0
Good location but a number of people staying in the flats don’t pull the front door over so it lies open most of the time.

+ Good location
+ Nice decor/thoughtful touches
- TV functionality was poor
- Single glazed windows allowed noise in
- Boiler was loud when using the hot taps

apartment was great and had everything it promised my fault for not thinking about an elevator yes friends all stairs but very nice ones had trouble communicating via email but it was new years and understandable a phone call is the way to go

No.1 apartments , the best stay i ever had . It was bigger than the studio we live in London. Perfect location in the middle of old town . I would recommend to everyone. Just had a problem with the bed . I could sleept in just till 6am as mattress was to hard for me so the rest i slept on sofa.
Thank you very much for the best week .

Great: The apartment and its windows, the space, the perks (free movie tickets), the washer/dryer, the location Less great: Not receiving the check-in information before arrival, and frantically messaging while standing in the lobby, using wifi from next-door; black marks on the bed sheets, receiving an Im sorry but no clean sheets; the building front door that didnt always click shut/locked.

Loved the ease of the self-check-in and access via a door code so you don’t have to worry about a key. The two bedroom apartment was very spacious, clean, modern (fixtures and furnishings) and well-equipped (Nespresso machine (with coffee capsules sugar and creamer and tea) fluffy robes and slippers, hair dryer and flat iron, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, umbrellas, makeup mirror, USB ports by the bedside....). Apartment owners were very responsive with communication and any question we had was answered quickly. Also was great having a view of the castle-which we took a lot of pictures of from the apartment, because the sky and light was always different. I don’t think we could have had a better, more comfortable 3-night stay. The location was absolutely the best: walking distance to every attraction, restaurants, etc. Also loved the ‘taxi button’ that you could just press inside the entrance hall and like magic a taxi showed up when we were leaving for the airport. We only hope our son decides to go to University here so we can stay here again!

Very comfortable clean relaxing. The shower column was separate from the wall near the top. Also the glass panel on the shower was loose at the bottom so it couldn't be leaned on for balance. I also recommend you put coarse stickers on the shower so it's not slippery with the soapy water. I would be concerned recommending to older family even though my wife and I loved the apartment.

Couldn’t get the tv to work, but other than that just great

Large, centrally located. STYLISH! All necessary amenities.

The location is amazing. Our kid was impressed because it was next door to where JK wrote Hairy Potter. I loved the view of the castle from the living room.
Easy to gain entry with a personal access code. Everything you need, clean and comfortable.
No need for a car.

Beautiful, clean, new apartments in an amazing location. Only negative is that it’s noisy off the street (bar 2 streets below), but this was minor issue to how wonderful and well appointed this property is
5.0
Location was great we found there to be lots of high end touches and finishes it was very clean, it looked newly renovated. They were very prompt in responding to an issue we had. Only downsides were the 4 story stairs up to the unit and lack of windows to the beautiful castle as there were only two.
