Had a wonderful stay at Foro Carolino. The hotel is in a prime location of Naples, and the hosts/owners were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again when we revisit Naples.

Great location in Naples. If you can come without a car that would be best. Driving is very hard and complicated

Great place to stay but you need to know that you can't sleep during the day because of ballet classes on the next floor. Also the air condition work only for hit and there is a lot of noise outside so you cant open the windows.. Good location, great room, helpul stuff

It was a great stay, there were only two things to be aware of . The hotel itself is very difficult to find, if there was a picture of the outside of the building it would've made it a lot easier to find. Also, if you plan on traveling during the fall/early winter, it's about 50-60 degrees outside and there was no AC so we had to keep the windows open and got attacked by mosquitos.

What a great find in the heart of Naples old city center. Easy to walk to everything in the historic city. Our host, Francesco has great pride of ownership and was most helpful. Just be sure you get precise directions where the hotel entrance is. It would be tough to find at night, or if trying to arrive by car.

Beautiful historic property located in the heart of the historic center renovated staying true to the beauty and architectural style. Large room with very well appointed amenities. Excellent communication in advance of check-in, assistance with dining reservations, transportation, and suggestions for activities. Delicious breakfast!

Quiet, peaceful, safe accommodations in the heart of the historic district. Very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Rooms were appointed with useful amenities. Concierge services were excellent. Breakfast was superb!

Super location, super team!

The room and facility were great - great location, very nice room, just very difficult to find. Google maps said "you have arrived", but there was no sign anywhere. We had to contact the manager/owner to find us.

Very nice room. Very friendly host and staff. Very helpful staff. The breakfast was very nice. If you don't mind the music and noise outside up until 2 am this would work very well for you. It was difficult to find and the signage outside the location and in the hallways is poor. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your bags up a long stairway. An armoire to put some clothes away with also be very nice. Make sure you advise the hostess of your arrival beforehand so she can unlock the front door for you. Location-wise it is very close to the old city. The subway is right outside the door. We think that we may have been better off staying closer to the harbour where there are more restaurants and better shopping.

Best hotel ever! And lovely staff

Hotel stay was ok, if unremarkable and perhaps expensive for what it is. Our issue began after check out—we left behind a bag (wholly my own fault), and attempted to arrange its return. I offered to pay for both the cost and the trouble of sending it onward. However the hotel simply stopped responding to my messages. Fearing the item totally lost, I contacted my credit card company to try to make a travel insurance claim. When they reached out to the hotel, the hotel said they had the item, invalidating the claim. However they still don’t respond to my messages. Frustrating communication all around.

Francesco was amazing. There was a taxi cab strike while we were there and he didn’t hesitate to offer to drive us to our ferry. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable and feel like we were at home. 10/10 would recommend!

The owners were very welcoming and gave us great advice about where to visit and transport details. Breakfast was amazing.

The property was very unique in sense! I loved the historical feel of the ambiance. The actual rooms were very modern and up to date. We stayed one night right before our departure from Italy. It is conveniently located to the airport about 10 minutes away. I would highly recommend this property.

Property was well located, and a beautifully restored property. Owner was very helpful and communicative.Unfortunately there was a ballet school directly over our room and music and dancing could be clearly heard throughout the day. Also our room overlooked Piazza Dante and there was electronic music playing until 3:00 AM on Saturday.

The room was beautiful. The dining room and check in area are also very well done. The staff is courteous and eager to please. It is in a central location so very easy to get around. We would stay here again.

We loved the large room and great location. However the rooms look out on a large square which can be noisy until midnight. The hosts are super helpful. We took a steam bath which was amazing. The breakfast was delicious. We will recommend this place highly.

Wow. Wow. We took a shot in the dark on Foro Carolino for our one night in Naples on the way to the Amalfi area, and it blew our minds! First trip ever without our young kids and first time alone together in years. Maria and Francesco have restored a centuries old family home into an exquisite, tasteful, and classic hotel. Our room was magnificent. High ceilings with these gorgeous pockets of exposed beams. That fabulous bathtub! All the appointments are super modern, clean designed, luxurious. But the feel of the place is so timeless and not at all ostentatious. Breakfast and coffee and cappuccino are all stellar. But what really distinguishes Foro are Maria and Francesco and their great staff. I pulled an all-time boneheaded move and left my computer bag in the taxi from the airport. Early am arrival, all night flight, I was wiped out. We were checking in and it dawned on me in slow motion what I had done. Maria went straight to work, called every cab company in the city, came out to the Piazza with me to ask around with other drivers if they remembered my guy, ACCOMPANIED ME TO THE AIRPORT! to try an all-time hail mary and find the guy. The story is too long, but somehow - deep into desperate conversations with random taxi drivers - we found somebody who knew my guy and Maria negotiated the safe return of my computer. It was an outrageous miracle, made possible only by the dogged and immediate attention that Maria had no business paying us. Still blown away by it!
