We had a lovely stay at the hotel. It has an old charm to it, was clean and has an amazing view. An added bonus is that it’s on a hiking trail and surrounded by vineyards.

Mostly a good stay this is a good hotel with stunning views across the Ahr. Staff were very helpful and did a lot to support. The hotel is right on the winery walking track which is a great location. Views are spectacular.

Awesome views over the Ahr valley, hiking into the vineyards right from the front door

Amazing view over the valley. Arrived early for check in and the room was available. Gave some options for walks in the area. The hotel is right on the Rotweinwanderweg walk.

The hotel is excellently located.
Sadly it is overdue a refurbishment.
Value for money isn’t great.
Breakfast is very good, but standards not as good as in the past.
The biggest problem are unfriendly staff. To a certain extent you could also say discriminatory.

Staff was very friendly and extremely service oriented.
Food was very good, wine was fantastic.
Rooms was very clean with all practicalities.
The location - hanging on the hillside in the wine fields - is exceptionel.
Only drawback: there is a busy street and traintracks in the valley, so there is some noise. It did not bother us and we slept well, but if you know that that will bother you, bring earplugs. It's worthwhile.
