Very enjoyable

View of the lake was beautiful - outside courtyard was great and was within walking distance of a great pizza restaurant

Great location, friendly staff, but not quiet at night (depending on the location of the rooms).

The staff, view and location on the lake were the best aspects of the hotel.

There was no AC in the rooms and unfortunately due to the hotel's proximity to a very noisy restaurant that became a disco on the night we were there, we didn't sleep well at all. We were left with the choice of closing the windows and having very hot rooms, or opening the windows and having the noise from the disco/party blaring in the room. We wish this had been disclosed. The beds were also fairly stiff, but that was the lesser of the issues.

Unfortunately no recommendation

The staff was welcoming and sweet, communication and checkin worked really well. The location of the hotel is superb, our room had a balcony directly facing the lake and there's no street or other building in between, so the view is undisturbed and if you like the sound of waves, you'd like this place.

To clarify: We booked two nights and ended up staying only one, leaving earlier than planned and losing the money for one night. We were unfortunately pretty disappointed by the hotel itself. It isn't evident in the pics they provide, but saying the place is dated is an understatement. The room showed heavy usage, at least repainting it every couple years would do good. The bed was really uncomfy, at some point mattresses need to be exchanged. The duvet was a simple wool blanket with a bedsheet underneath. There were ants in the room. The walls are paper thin and the doors to the room also let in every noise from outside. The atmosphere gives "retirement home", but one that you don't want to put your loved ones in. The breakfast was scarce and lacked variety, there wasn't even a single slice of cheese (only some ham). I don't expect tables bending from food and a million options but some healthy options would've been greatly appreciated. If you are looking for a very simple place for one night, go for it. But given all we've seen it's quite the price (170€ / night) for too little value. And upon leaving we were of course asked "oh are you leaving early?!" but when replying "yes, it was not what we expected" we weren't asked any further questions as to what did not meet our expectations or if something could be done so we'd consider staying. So either they don't want to improve or something else is holding them back because that's also no way of handling a situation like this.

nice location directly at the lake. Lakeview from room suboptimal, but from balcony ok.

Amazing price for a small (0.3) bottle of beer: 10 €! Hotel has seen better days, no place to stay for more than 2 nights.

A Charming Place

We stopped here for one night during a road trip...the location was stunning and convenient, staff friendly and helpful. There are restaurants close by for dinner too. Private, convenient parking right outside. The hotel, whilst dated, had a homely charm which we loved, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Overall just a wonderful charming place to stay.

The only small disappointment was the beds and pillows were very hard for me.

I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy nature and peace

Stunning view of the lake, near the beach, you can rent a SUP, a beautiful view of the sunset and silence. The staff is responsive and friendly, seems to speak all languages of the world :)

For me there was a very uncomfortable bed with a hard pillow and a short sheet instead of a blanket. There is no air conditioning in the room, we had to open the windows all night. Weak wifi signal. A meager breakfast consisting of yesterday's croissants, several types of cookies in plastic, jams in plastic, cereal in plastic. If desired, they bring a boiled egg and yogurt in the same plastic. Breakfast is served to everyone. there is coffee, tea and juice personally.

Not great at all

The location, terrace view, parking facilities were fine. It's right on the lake so nice location. That's all I have to say for the positives.

No air conditioning, VERY uncomfortable bed, tiny shower with temperamental water temperatures. Breakfast was bang average. Not good value for money.

Perfect location on waterfront

Excellent location directly on maggiore lake. Large grounds so lots of space for parking and outdoor sitting and sun beds. Clean hotel, very friendly staff, room facing lake with nice balcony and views.

unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room so was very hot but slept with blinds open so had nice breeze coming from lake

Nice family hotel on Lake Maggiore

The location is excellent, with access to a clean beach on Lake Maggiore. The property is a small bay, great for walks by the lake. The staff is very friendly and welcoming

Rooms have no air conditioning. Breakfast a bit simple.

Good location, nice room and friendly staff

Lovely balcony and views, room has everything you need. Comfortable bed.

Dissapointed by breakfast, there was a croissant and bread, but otherwise convenience foods in packets. Could be due to early season as there didn't seem to many guests, and guess it is not viable for fresh products or a buffet.

Clean Hotel right by the sea

Small accommodation right by the sea. With the private beach it is fantastic to stay there when it is sunny and warm and you can go swimming. The interior design of the hotel is simple but clean.

The breakfast could have been a little better. Everything was arranged on the place. You didn't have the chance to choose what you wanted. Everyday same cheese.

Exceptional

Location - on the lake shore, incredible view through the window. You even don't need to get out of bed to enjoy the view through the window. Good breakfast - perfect CAR PARKING FREE OF CHARGE - many hotels indicate that they have free parking, but finaly you have to pay for it. But not in this hotel. Super!

Short but delightful and would highly recommend

This is a very traditional , family run hotel by the lake. Superb spot, private small beach gave access to swimming in the Lake, views terrific , terrace shaded and delightful, private parking and staff /owners very helpful and friendly to non Italian speakers.

Nothing to dislike save early (for us as an older couple) in having to vacate our room.
