Proximity to the beach

Cost was higher once I got there. Breakfast is non existent. A/C non existent.

Awesome location! Friendly staff.

Excellent location, just one block from the beach with the best coffee next door. Definitely we would stay there again!!

Some renovation was going on while we stayed, however we understand it is low season and they need to get ready for the upcoming high season. Wouldn't stop me from staying there again!!

Honestly couldn’t sleep for an entire week

The proximity to the beach. The housekeepers & front desk staff

Cold showers, blasting karaoke music late into the night, dune buggies, ATV noise none stop. Only one tiny bar of soap 1 shampoo & 1 conditioner for an entire week for 2 people?

Good

The room was very pretty and well-kept, with its tile floor and arched brick ceiling. The location was very convenient for going to the beach, and away from the worst of the downtown noise. The bar across the street took some of that advantage away.

I didn't speak enough Spanish for easy communication with the staff. They were very kind, but Google Translate isn't as helpful as it could be. And, like may places in town, the hotel has a septic system that can't handle toilet paper.

Lovely hotel with great staff in the bustling part of town.

The staff was great on site, the pool was beautiful. Great location by the beach.

The breakfast was only served at 9am so wasn’t ideal for young children waking up much earlier. Also it was impossible to communicate with the hotel before our stay to respond to any questions we had.

Discrepancy in Booking.com price and actual price. Hotel charges 20% more than what the website quote is. Their reason is for commission payable to the website. Does booking.com know about this?

Diamonte was well situated for convenience to everything in town and the staff were wonderful, but , for us, a bit noisy

staff were very friendly and helpful. it was close to the beach and town.

For us, an older couple who value quiet, it was less than ideal, because of the bar across the street. but the staff did move us to a quieter room after a week.

Amazing staff, great location one block from the beach. It's on the North side of town which is more quiet, but still only a 7 min walk to the town square and dance clubs etc.

nice hotel. careful you are not double billed.

the property was nice, far enough from the centre of town to be quieter, close enough to the beach and restaurants.

ETA: it took a week of nagging, but Booking.com refunded one of the charges. I also had to change this review to 2 stars to get attention ;) I was billed twice for this stay - once by the hotel and once by booking.com. My reservation said I should pay the hotel when I got there so I did. Then booking.com charged me again a week later. My Spanish is terrible, so I can't communicate with the hotel. I'm now fighting with booking.com to get a refund.

The room was ok. But you sold me a room with balcony an oven, and they didn't give me that room. I pay for something and they gave me the wrong room. I am really upset 😡

An ideal location and stylish hotel for my first visit to Mexico. Delightful!

Coffee and fresh fruit together with cereal, bread and local jams made for an excellent breakfast. The location could not be better - stroll to the beach, top rated restaurants next door, a bar, cafes, boutiques and convenience store. Highly recommend.

The shower was not always hot.

overall nice stay aside from the little things

located extremely close to beach. except one night the water pump went out and we didn’t have water to shower or to flush the toilet

slight mismanagement with our booking. had to switch rooms because they gave us the wrong one to begin with. we had to wait for the other guests to check out first

The owner or manager tried to get me to pay twice for my two week stay. Also not adults only.

This is not an “adults only” facility. Children were guests at the hotel. They need to change that description in the title. The owner or manager said I had not paid for my two week stay (paid by credit card in booking.com) and asked me to pay again. I did not pay twice but I felt pressure to. Also, I heard two guests being asked to pay about $20 more per night than they had understood they would pay from booking.con. They did pay more.

OK Value for money, would not stay long time

Bed was nice and comfy, A/C worked well. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Easy to get to and just outside of the noise in Sayulita.

We didn't have hot water. There was no food at the breakfast, just some room temperature yogurt and coffee. No pastries or fruit.

Very good

I enjoyed my 3 day stay. The room was great for my needs, clean and modern. There was breakfast included with yogurt, cereals, granola, coffee, toast and fresh fruit.
