Very clean. Very good communication. Everything in the room was new with clean tile floors. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The Tiki Bar closes at 10 pm for quiet hours. We would definitly stay again. Our request for a ground floor room was met. It's a 1968 hotel, so accessible features have to be looked for. Easy check-in and check out. Wonderful staff.

Great little place. Older but so clean. All staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant and tiki hut are an added bonus. When in the area we will stay here again

great little place for a great price. No real complaints Room was average a place to sleep . who stays in room when your in Florida. Amazing Pool and tiki hut on premises. Staff was great food was amazing even had live entertainment every day. Place had a great vibe the locals were friendly and informative about what to do in the area. It was a short walk to other night life spots if you wanted to explore. Very satisfied will visit again when in Area

It was a nice area. Many restaurants nearby. What impressed me was the shiny bathtub, very clean, comfortable bed. There is a live band Friday and Saturday nights in the bar adjacent to the hotel but that didn’t bother us. We skipped the restaurant that was in the bar so I can’t comment on the food. Many people enjoyed the pool which looked clean. We didn’t have time to use it. Mostly adults, saw a couple kids our last day. Laundry facilities were two washers and dryers, they were rusty on the outside but worked well.

The room was lovely, but the door was difficult to open and the tv options were extremely limited. The pool are and Tiki Bar were great. Lots of fun and excellent food. But the location was suprisingly very residential. No where near any water. Great staff, very helpful.

Dolphin Key maid service was fantastic. It was nice to have a refrigerator and coffee maker. You should know a few things though before you book: It is LOUD! There is live music every night, you can hear EVERYTHING around you (neighbors, traffic, Tiki Bar patrons, etc.). The rooms and grounds are pretty run down. The Tiki Bar is packed, full of smoke, and can get rowdy. The wait for food is long and the quality was poor.

We had an amazing time at Dolphin Key! Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The tiki bar that is connected to the hotel is a lot of fun!

We’ve stayed here multiple times. Rooms are nice, Meghan at the front desk is very sweet and will take care of you. The pool is warm and the Tiki Bar next door is perfect. We will be back.

Expextations may very... not a 5 star hotel by any means. But great pool.. tiki bars lots of fun... great service... good food and drinks... place is a bit dated, but makes up for that in convenience and service. Great location!

Lower rooms brand new. Nice and clean. Great staff. If you are noise sensitive - new frig is loud. Also ask to get instructions for funky shower head when checking in .

The room a musty smell. Tv had very limited stations and was probably the smallest tv I have ever seen in a hotel. No Microwave.

We had a great time:) This was our second time back here; before and after both the pandemic and hurricane. We were delighted both times. The hotel staff were friendly and most-helpful. Meghan at the Front Desk had great welcoming hospitality (at check-in) and accomodated our room location request perfectly, ty! The Tiki Hut bar and wait staff (Julie, Craig/Greg (sp?) & Mark) were attentive and responsive. The live music bands every night were great and danceable to all types of music. The place is like a throwback to the simpler times of the late 60's in architecture and accomodations. Very clean inside the rooms and outside by the pool and Tiki Hut interior. The local area is pedestrian-friendly with several live music bars and restaurants close by. The facility was spotless, but a rock band plays at the pool bar on Saturday nights. It's a fun vibe if you want to drink and dance at the bar, but not so great if you want to retire early. You won't get to sleep before their curfew at 11:00.

The communication was very good. Room was clean. Rates were reasonable.I liked that there is a restaurant on the property. The pool area is cozy and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

The motel itself could use some updating. The rooms were pretty clean but outdated. The shower didn’t drain, and the fan in the bathroom didn’t work so after showering the humidity in the room was extreme, causing the floors to be slippery. All of the staff at both the motel and the bar were amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. Location is great, and the tiki bar is awesome. The tiki bar has music most evenings. Motel is within walking distance to shopping/restaurants/bars. Even though the building/rooms need some love, because of the location and wonderful staff, we would definitely go back!

Considering they are open after the hurricane they went thru last year, im very happy with the cleanliness of this place. I guess they are still under construction so there is some noise at random times but nothing that bothered us. Defiantly recommend staying here clean, friendly staff. And the tiki hut has some very good food!
