Upon entering hotel, staff went above & beyond with their professionalism. Hotel is located in a very nice & safe area, not to mention within minutes to downtown Charleston. Room was clean and large, would not hesitate returning, and highly recommend.

Usual Hyatt Place Room Setup. First night issue with the fan unit, unable to turn off, night without sleep as located right next to the bed. They fixed it the next day. Went far and beyond to make up for it. Would stay again. Great customer service.

I am glad I chose this Hyatt Place for my stay while attending a conference at the Charleston Convention Center. The hotel is only a 5 min walk away from the Convention Center. The hotel was quiet, safe, comfortable, and tidy. They offered free breakfast. There wasn't an airport shuttle, but there did not seem to be many hotels in the area that did offer an airport shuttle. If you fly in late at night, there may not be many ride-shares available, so just get in the taxi line ($17).

Had a good stay and the breakfast was good, but coffee doesn’t taste that good. The room was ok and the bed comfortable but the next morning before we left we had a water bug in the bathroom .

This property booked lots of young kids for a cheer event and shut down the pool for the weekend. We and friends of ours specifically booked here for this reason.

Comfortable stay. However, the air conditioner in the room was very loud. Also, the bathroom fan was EXTREMELY loud.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Facility looked new. Only complaint here is the bed was hard as a rock. Just as comfortable had i slept on the floor. Also listening to the elevator machinery every morning starting at 530 and never stopping kept me up all morning hours before i needed to wake up. I could not get the fan to stay on in the room. It was only on auto apparently. Was in room 208.

The staff was extremely friendly both at check-in and otherwise. Room was clean and comfortable. Did not use all amenities as we were there for only one night.

The only reason we stayed here it’s because it said it had an indoor pool. Unfortunately the whole time we were there the pool was closed due to maintenance!!

Very average, the roo. Itself was ok but being on first floor it was rather noisy both from hallway and from upstairs, the breakfast food was all rather bland, the blinds were dirty. Staff was ok. Pool was fine. There was just no "wow" about anything

We met the assistant general manager as soon as we arrived! She was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We totally appreciate the hospitality!

Unfortunately at that time I didn't take any pictures. The place is not bad. The breakfast is not bad too. I know some things can happen, but it shouldn't. We found a cockroach in our room.
Another thing that I really didn't like is was the fact that the bathroom light was not separated from the fan. Let me explain: the light and fan were triggered together when the switch was flipped, and it made a horrible noise that woke up everybody at night. The employees at the front desk were very nice.
