My family had a nice little staycation here, we enjoyed our time in the pool and the hotel employees were so accommodating when we needed to change our room. I would definitely stay here again.

I like how convenient the property was to the stores. The room I was in was decent but I had the nosiest neighbors and children running up and down the hallway. I’m surprised no one had came upstairs to say something. I was only on the second floor.

The young lady in the front desk was super nice and friendly the rooms were clean and nice the only issue that caught me off guard was the $200 deposit I felt like it was way too much but it’s refundable other than that great service.

It would have been a great experience except for the fact that I call in advance to check how the pool condition was inform that it was open when we got there the pool area cold closed and the check in staff yough man was nicebut staff morning a lady at check out was rude. I had to cut my stay short.

I found at least five long hairs embedded in the restroom towels. Additionally, there were numerous hairs scattered across the bedsheets, leading me to believe they were not changed or laundered after the previous guest's departure. This lack of hygiene has had a concerning impact on my one-year-old daughter, who developed skin rashes after sleeping on the bed. This incident further underscores the seriousness of these cleanliness issues.

This Best Western was so affordable, and was conveniently located off of a main highway that runs through New Haven (technically the hotel is in West Haven). There was easy parking in the back (once you check in, you receive a parking pass to display on your dashboard). The hotel's staff was super friendly, and check-in was very easy. The room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. The free breakfast was such a nice perk (it's indeed hotel-quality food, but the spread was generous - you have basics like eggs, sausages, home fries, oatmeal, coffee, some pastries, etc.). Another nice perk is the pool. Moreover the location is convenient - it's right next door to a gas station, a few restaurants and big department stores like Walmart. And it's about a 15 minute drive to downtown New Haven. I'd definitely stay again!

Everything was good .. I stayed just for one night and it was clean . The only bad comment is I was told the pool was a heated pool and when I got there it was cold but my 4yr old still went in and enjoyed it even though it was cold

Very low level of hotel. Looks more like motel and amount for payment like 4 stars hotel. Generally was clean. Room very poor furniture, very small pillows. Hope find next time find some different hotel to stay.

The only good thing about this place was the service, the front desk clerks were nice. The trouble started with the room door— you had to physically push the room door open. Then, when we tried to go to sleep, the highway outside was so obnoxiously loud. The pillows were lumpy and hard, and we only had a couple thin top sheets. The WiFi wasn’t working either, very slow. I tried to take a shower and the water was either barely lukewarm or scalding. The shower curtain was angled up for some reason so it kept falling down and soaking the floor. When my wife tried to use the hair dryer, it stopped working after 5 minutes. Most alarming, all the electrical sockets were loose and plugs would just fall out. Normally we would have requested a different room, but we were there for my father in laws wake and we’re not in the mood or mindset to complain. This was a sham of a hotel, would NOT reccomend.
