This was a good room for a one night stay. The bedding and linens were plentiful, the bed and pillows comfortable. The TV and AC functioned well though the channel lineup was very limited. I did come across a couple of creepy crawlers which I quickly dispatched. The breakfast included was good. The staff were very friendly and professional.

It was exactly what we wanted for the price we paid. We’ll except the shower head. I have thick hair and the low pressure shower heads make washing and rinsing my hair feel like a chore. But the seems to be the case with most hotels. Either way. We will definitely be back to Clarion Renton when the need arises again.

Grubby hotel, nice comfortable bed. Small TV thats screwed to the dresser so you cant move it closer. Dirty corridors, trash everywhere, filthy curtains.

Very helpful & friendly staff. The breakfast was great & well stocked. The coffee was delicious as only Seattle can provide. I was visiting my sister in the hospital so the location was perfect.

My stay was OK. I was trying a couple of new spots this weekend with Clarion being the first. If I'm honest, it's an somewhat aged hotel, but I could see that they were making every effort to make this a Classy establishment. It was clean but not as luxurious as I'd hoped. That said, I can see staying here as it adds Value

I was in domestic violence situation. Checking in made staff aware. He gave me room by office very caring. Person on next shift gave out room number. I didn't think they could give that information. Frightening.

This was absolutely the worst experience I ever had at a hotel. THE PICTURES ARE VERY MISLEADING AND DO NOT REFLECT HOW THE HOTEL LOOKS. Everything was gross, dirty, old looking and was 10 times worse than a motel 6. It seemed like this hotel had been abandoned for 3 years then someone decided to buy it and did not clean or renovate it. There were stains all over the wall, bedding, and curtains. Cracks in the ceilings, furniture in bedroom seemed like it was bought at a garage sale, and you could hearing the plumbing throughout the whole hotel. Hallways had wet wall signs everywhere despite the walls being dry and did not smell like fresh paint. Seems like they wanted it to look like it was “under renovation” to excuse for how dilapidated everything looked. Hotel had awful musky smell as well. I refused to take off my shoes as I was too afraid to even touch the floor. The fact how much they are charging for this disgusting place is insane and no one should stay here.

Pros: Good, fast breakfast. Great bed pillows and mattress. Modern bedding. Air via both window and electric. Convenience appliances. Roomy. Clean. All staff very attentive.
Cons: Any run-down appearances were just that - aesthetics. Advertised as having in-house restaurant and bar.- both closed. Accessible bathroom is one grab bar outside tub - fixed shower head - tiny space.
In short - some disappointments, but so, so comfortable.

It was not what was shown in the pictures and was under construction and very nasty looking hotel and canceled my stay!

A lot of deferred maintenance, the elevator was not clean, the shower faucet and the sink faucet were in need of repair. I used the hair dryer and it fell off the wall. The screw was stripped that held it to the wall. The bed was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good.

It was quiet area but the room had so much damages to the walls and frames, carpet. Very dark dim lights as well in the room.

The property was right off the freeway, easy access... that is where the good ends. It smelt dingy and musty with every other room smelling like marijuana as you walk by. My room had silicone patchwork all over the place with visible mold in the cracks. I have slept on a softer bed on an aircraft carrier, it was like a large wooden plank with a thick blanket for a mattress. Room surfaces were sticky. The office staff sat in the back out of sight and had to be beckoned. For the price per night, I had MUCH higher expectations. I knew it wasn't a Hilton, but I wasn't expecting a Motel 6. Avoid this property at all costs. Yes, pay more for another location.

We loved this hotel for the price, convenience. It has all the basic stuff you needed, special shout out to Rick, he is very helpful. We asked for extra water and he is able to provide it to us.

Staff was nice and helpful and the hotel area was safe and quiet. The breakfast was good. The hotel is just old and run down. The carpet in my room was very dirty, so make sure to walk in your room with footwear. My closet door was broken and thus unable to open. They had no airport shuttle but Uber is widely used if one needs to come & go to the Seattle Airport. Overall, it was not very bad and good for those who are on a tight budget, but you get what you pay for and that was the situation here.

The Clarion at Renton had an excellent hot breakfast. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will choose this hotel again.

The guy at the front desk stopped checking me in so he could play his video games. Then the room smelled really bad, the floor were so nasty and sticky (we kept our shoes and socks on the whole time), the hotel smelled like weed, and someone wrapped plastic around our smoke alarm in our room (probably to be able to smoke). The worst hotel I’ve ever stay at. Definitely not what the pictures show. Do not stay here, especially with children.

Definitely a budget hotel, and not in a neighborhood I’d hang out in during the day, but it was clean, reasonably quiet, and convenient from the airport after our luggage was temporarily misplaced, causing to have to stay in town before we went to our final destination. Free breakfast and polite staff. Cheaper than everything else around, and it met our needs for a quick overnight.

This was a return trip as we stayed there before our vacation. The location is clean, safe, and friendly. They offer a quality breakfast with good options. There are great food options within walking distance or driving. You can Uber to the train station and the bus system is easy to understand. The manager is very friendly. This is a great place to stay.

A great place to stay that’s convenient to travel to the airport and Seattle. The rooms are clean and the area is quiet and safe. A train/bus station is not far from the hotel. You can use Uber for transport.

Good place to stay, fairly easy travel to Seattle. Every time I went to the front desk I had to wait for somebody to show up to help me. It's an old hotel and needs a little remodel to look more inviting. But it was clean and comfortable.

Sheets had stains, everything had a sticky residue on it, very dated decor and the floor was very uneven resulting in cracked tile all around the property. Breakfast was a bunch of frozen food that was reheated & thrown in a warming tray.

They immediately demanded we pay (not just card on file--pay) another $100 upon arrival for damages-- said if all went well it would be returned to our credit card TEN business days after we checked out. TEN?!
Hallways and elevator were creepy and worn down. The room was definitely better than I expected after entering the property but we had to open the window for a while to air out a wierd smell and I wouldn't let my kids sit on the upholstered chair in the room. The ice machine was broken, they had no roll-away beds like I had requested. **I have to say though, the room felt very clean and wasn't bad. Breakfast was wonderful but it was strange having signs every two feet on the walls demanding no food leave the dining room--I mean, I get it, but kinda ruined the atmosphere. Oh and housekeeping did not touch our room the two days we were there,
