It was average overall.

The hotel was very clean and the beds, sofa, and chairs were comfortable. One of the bathroom doors wouldn't shut all the way without pushing or closing the door really hard due to what looked liked some water damage. The lightbulb on the desk lamp needs to be replaced. Those two items were the only issues that we had and they didn't take away from our stay at all. We loved the location and the coziness of the room. The staff were very nice and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel when I come back to New Jersey. Thank you for making my visit a great one!

It was great one of my fav places

The say was good would’ve given this place 5 stars but it seems like a very money hungry hotel. If you want to park it is $15/day. If you need to check in slightly early or slightly late they charge you and their breakfast could use some work to be more tastier. And lastly, the deposit is $100/PER DAY not for the overall stay- so budget accordingly. Overall I would stay again

Property was easy to access. Although paying for outdoor parking seemed a bit exciting to me. Indoor, valet parking I could see but outside should be free parking.

The rooms matched the description. Clean and quiet. Good stay for a good price.

The location was ok for my business trip. The room was very worn, paint flecking in the bathroom, not clean in the bathroom specifically the shower. needs some paint and clean the door hinges/frames, etc.

We stay here often and it's always amazing. The staff is always great.

The pillows are the worst I have ever experienced which led to a terrible nights rest. Then to add insult they make you pay $15 a day to park. The front staff is friendly but I would not stay there again

Wverything was good for the price as far as the room. The staff was very friendly. The only real negative is the $15.00 a day parking fee. They have plenty of parking on the property? It is billed with a third party company. To me that is a complete rip off. You have to give your license plate number and state. Im sure that info will be sold and I'll be getting junk mail very soon. I was going to take a chance and not pay. Parking fee is a scam to me, otherwise hotel was very good for the price range. I would recommend it, but that parking fee is a total joke.

Loved the room. We had the two rooms king bed suite was well worth the money. We enjoyed the breakfast and each room had its own bathroom. Room was very clean.

We used to love this hotel. It has not aged well. The carpet in the hallways is old and faded. Our sofa bed sheets had not been changed. The toilet ran, which we fixed. We went out for breakfast bc the food was not fully cooked (potatoes) and quality substandard. The day before we checked in we were told that we had to pay $15/day for parking in a suburban parking lot. So disappointed.

As soon as the courtesy period for cancelling our reservation was over we received an email from the hotel manager informing us of a few pertinent details about our upcoming stay.
There was a $15 dollar a day parking fee for the hotel. This is not a bustling city area! We've stayed in downtown Chicago and paid less and knew ahead of time about parking fees. $85 and change for parking in Parsippany?! Outrageous.
The next lovely point of order in the email was a $100 per day security deposit?! I've stayed for longer at finer establishments and paid less of a security deposit. What in the world. So now I've coughed up an additional $582 in unexpected fees.
Broken blinds that looked shredded by a cat, carpet torn up by either a cat or a vacuum, broken bobbling lamps, toilet paper holder looked as though it had been reattached poorly to the wall so many times it was barely hanging on, screws sticking out of the bathroom vanity caught on our clothes and ripped them, dirty dresser drawers, broken closet rack barely hanging on the wall, tiny square hard as a rock pillows and stiff beds, understaffed... Loud music playing till 11:45 at night when it was finally resolved by staff yelling from the courtyard?!
Hyatt house, what the hell happened?! I've stayed with your chain elsewhere and this is not what I expected at all. So underwhelmed and disappointment. This stay was an utter waste of my time and money. Abhorrent.

Hotel is extremely comfortable, but my problem is that the hotel make guess pay for parking. That is so ridiculous. I have never heard of a hotel that make guess pay for parking. I guess next they will start charging the guess for the breakfast that’s served in the morning.

I booked a room with 3 beds but when we got there they stated there was none left and so gave us a room with only two beds. There was a reason I booked and payed for the 3 beds but OK it was Thanksgiving but they did not reimburse me for the smaller suite. They stated that it was not their problem but the booking agent, Expedia.
This property has extremely high parking fees. I have never had to pay for outdoor parking fees for a hotel that was in Parsippany/ Whippany. They charged 15 dollars per day. Also unlike Doubletree everything was up charged, the water, the snacks etc. They did not have a vending machine so they could up charge. Shame on them, they knew they had us.

They turned off the central air because they were worried about their pipes Bursting. But it was 56 degrees out. The room was hot. They told everyone to just open their windows.

Over priced and blind sided by paying almost $20 to park for one night. We always come here and sadly this most likely will be our last. The breakfast was pretty terrible with very limited options in comparison to previous visits.

This is the finest reasonably priced hotel I’ve ever had the pleasure of occupying. The basic suite was wonderful, perfectly arranged, furnished and outfitted. I travel frequently and say these things based on many years of experience. I will definitely seek out a Hyatt House property each time I travel.

The stay was great. The customer service was excellent. Only down fall was the parking fee but that was all other then that I’ll stay again.

Excellent hotel but annoying how they nickel and dime you by charging you for parking (where else are you supposed to park?) and $7 bottled water in the room. Watch out for their credit card policy, they only take major cards. Otherwise fantastic.

**PARKING FEE WARNING!!!**
THE PARKING FEE HAS TO BE PAID THROUGH A 3RD PARTY. YOU HAVE TO SCAN A QR CODE and GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO.
Careful walking on the cracked pavement in the parking lot that you are extra paying for.
If you, your family/friends are of a population that doesn't have a smart phone, be prepared for a seemingly ridiculous, lengthy process to PAY to park - in an area saturated with hotels with free parking.
BRING YOUR OWN WATER!!!!!! IT'S $7. a bottle in the room!!!!
Room was very clean, quiet and spacious.

Love the rooms and the place! I just think that you shouldn’t pay for parking

They charge for parking $15/day and they provide bottled water in your room for $7 per bottle. Yikes!

We found our stay at the Hyatt very comfortable. The room was wonderful. Spacious and inviting. The breakfast each morning was great.

I have been forced to edit this review multiple times so will just say this : 15$ for parking in a non tourist area is ridiculous . Plus there were ladybugs all over 2 different rooms ! Oscar and the housekeepers were great in helping but place needs work and it’s confusing maze of a set up exhausted me . It’s got a nice studio apartment feel to rooms but needs renovations

I enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was very polite and professional. I have to say that I did not care that I had to pay $100 per day for incidentals and I had to pay $15 plus tax for parking. I found out later that Parking is under management of PMC. I have to say that I won't be a future guest.

We booked this hotel last minute and were able to secure a suite. This was a nice bonus! The room was very nice and comfortable. Oddly, the freezer had a large dent in it. This didn’t bother us at all but something we noticed. There was a large screen TV in the living room, which was open to the kitchen area. The kitchen seemed to be stocked with all of the basics you might need, although we didn’t use any of it. The bedroom was a typical king room with a comfortable bed and another tv. Everything seemed clean, but there appeared to be some sort of light sand or something similar on the bathroom floor that was most notable on the bottom of our feet. Everything else seemed to be scrubbed as best as possible. Despite the few little things, this was a very nice stay. Breakfast was good as well. One thing to note is that parking is not free and is paid via an app.

Nice room with excellent breakfast

Corridor carpets, walls and doors are worn, stained. Cabinet doors, sink seals, and other maintenance issues were present in our room. Overall, rather disappointing.
In addition, the pay to park requires guests to register separately through a printed-out QR code, which feels cumbersome, and something that should be just listed as an itemized entry on my hotel bill.

Excellent staff, clean facilities, great rooms Highly recommend

This has been my "go-to" hotel for a few years now. But a number of things irritated me that will undoubtedly make me move on. Primary is the new practice of changing guests $15 a day parking. This is ridiculous. To add to it, you are required to go through a QR code system to pay for it. I get that people park there as commuters, but no, not as a guest. If you are going to charge me for parking while staying there, I'll stay elsewhere. The staff is generally nice/good, although some made me feel like an unwelcome guest at their own home. The free breakfast was good and so was the coffee.

I will never stay there again!! I have stayed there a number of nights over the last 3 years, for work. Our office is right done the road. They bring a number of people in to work in the office, from all over the country. Unfortunately, no one from our office will be staying there again, as they have started to charge $15 per night for parking!! Oh well!! There are plenty of hotels with a 3 mile radius that have no parking fees!! That’s an additional $75 per week charge just for parking!! Good luck!! Hope it works out!!
