Right in the heart of the royal burgh of Lanark, a town steeped in history, you’ll find this excellent apartment down a quiet street just off the town centre. Located on the upper level but accessed from a private entrance, this two bedroom apartment is an ideal place for couples, a small group of friends or small families to base themselves. The traditional designed exterior is complemented by an updated modern inside which has been tastefully presented providing everything you’ll need in a home away from home. The two bedrooms are very well displayed and have been fitted as one double, and one single day bed with a pull-out bed that can form either twins or a second double. The living space forms an open plan living room, dining area with seating for four and kitchen which has space for eating, that is if you eat in given the amount of cafés restaurants and bars around the town. Appliances including the washing machine and microwave are provided, along with all the utensils, crockery and cutlery you may need. A fabulous modern shower room with walk in shower completes the accommodation. Guests will appreciate not just the local history and attractions, including New Lanark Visitor Centre, but how accessible the town is to other towns and cities throughout Scotland. Both Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily accessible by train from Lanark with the station being a short walk through town. Driving round the towns and villages around the area you’ll frequently stumble across somewhere you’ll want to stop and either enjoy a walk round some shops, enjoy a coffee and the scenery, which is gorgeous in this part of the world, take in the historic sites or travel a little further and enjoy some more of this beautiful part of the world.
