A complete lack of communication from the owners meant I couldn't get to the property until it was too late! Total waste of money. No refund offered.

The property was located in a quiet area which was ideal.
Inside the property looks nothing like what the pictures showed. Inside the house is very run down and dirty. There are a lot of outlets that pose electrical safety risks and some that aren’t even working. I forgot an item at the property and had to collect it from one of the hosts, when I met her she assured me that she checked the property when she went for the jacket and that everything was good and I should send my bank details so she can send back the £100 damage deposit. TWO days later of chasing her for the deposit, she accused me of getting a substance on the glass table which she assumes is glue and admitted that she was scraping at it for awhile but she can’t get it out, she said she needed stronger cleaning products so she will deducted £20 before sending the deposit! I’m surprised she didn’t blame me for all the holes in the wall as well!!

Self catering the location was fine
Kerb appeal not good there is a scrap car on the drive and the front door is very tatty it has not be painted for quite a while.There are a few simple things that will not cost a lot to improve the quality of the stay such as proper bath towels buy half a dozen proper mugs to replace the tiny ones provided generally the decor and furnishing are quite drab and unappealing.

Everything. Location was good property was perfect nice clean and comfortable. Whole process was simple from start to finish excellent communication from hosts.

Clean, comfortable beds, safe location for my young kids. The owners of the house were really nice and friendly and communication was great also.

The location was lovely, we booked very last minute and the house was clean, homely and extremely reasonably priced.

Perfect location. Very quiet, but close enough to walk to nearest pub. Good size of property and value for money. If you like chinese, try the Ming Chef - about a 5 min drive away and one of the best takeaway Chinese I've had. We all rated our differest meals +++++
Had to contact owner as couldn't find the lock box. Perhaps put location in the instructions. Had some issues with the TV, but got there in the end.

- A very good place to host a large number of people, especially for birthday parties
- Easily accessible - taxi service available here, can take a bus to the bus stop which leaves you about 5 minutes' walk away from property
- Location appears a little secluded which can be of concern at night
- Have to ask for code at 2:00 p.m. (I asked at 1:30 p.m. - no response on WhatsApp) but eventually got the code after 2:00 p.m.

The property was clean and tidy. Storm and her team were wonderful. They were so helpful and considerate, especially as we were there for a funeral. There was bacon, eggs, and beans there for breakfast. Great value for money.
In the description, it stated there was a dishwasher, but we couldn't find one. We wish we had bought towels as there weren't many and they were small. Also, there wasn't any shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel as someone had said there was, so we hadn't taken any with us. Although looking back, I think it was a previous guest who said shampoo, etc, was provided.

We really enjoyed our stay here, host was very helpful and lovely. Home was keep clean and tidy, had no problems with anything. Location was lovely, very easy to get to. Shops just down the road. Plenty of place to eat and drink. Lovely little walks not far away. Hope to come stay again in the near future 😊
Would say we didn’t like but decor good do with a touch up, would make us not stay again though. Very happy

it’s great when you have young kids as can be quite crowded in a hotel room
it states that have off road parking but there is a car parked in drive with flat tyres

fantastic house to stay in, it was spotless! key instructions were easy to understand, found them no problem, communication with the host storm was is excellent. very lovely hosts for an amazing stay. thank you very much. will be using again in the future for definite.

Nice house. David was great, the front door was not locking and he came to sort it out immediately. TV has Netflix and other channels available. Breakfast provided egg bread salt pepper. No frying pan or iron but David brought them immediately I asked for them.
Lots of areas unfinished. Hole in the stairs, paintwork and decoration needs to be completed. Kitchen ,stairs bedroom and bathrooms need to be completed to a higher standard. No dining table or chairs at the time we visited. Ensuite bathroom needed finishing and toilet seat needs fixing.

Lovely spacious house on edge of town, 5 minutes from A1 and 5 minutes from superstore.
On nice quiet residential estate.
Helpful, responsive hosts.
Perfect base to explore the North East or as a stop over.
Full kitchen facilities and 3 toilets/bathrooms.
Nice size garden.
Keybox was tricky to find in the dark but fine once spotted.
