Came up with my family for the weekend. The property was excellent: the furniture was high end and comfortable (which is so often not the case in short-term rental units), the unit (and kitchen) was well stocked with all sorts of amenities (shampoo, baby wipes, paper towel, coffee pods, etc.). We really loved the baby grand piano and guitar, which allowed my kids to spend all night playing and singing together. After we checked out, our car wouldn't start due to a dead battery. The owner, Dmitriy, came by and gave us a jump start! He told us that he lived in the unit for several years and the care he puts into it shows. When our car died again after we took a hike on the way home, he even volunteered to come to where we were and jump start us again! (Turns out he didn't have to because a passerby helped us). During the stay he was also communicative. In every review, I try to also describe something negative about the place, but for this one, that's tough. Pretty much the only thing I could come up with is that the floorplan is a little strange. The unit is shaped like a "C", with the master bedroom at one end and the kitchen at the other, and the other two bedrooms and living room and family room in between, which meant a lot of walking back and forth. Otherwise, this unit was fantastic. We would most definitely stay here again, and I would put this in my top 2 or 3 VRBO experiences.

Beautiful house on the outskirts of Idyllwild. Everything looked clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the quiet around us. Check-in and check-out were super smooth and Dmitriy checked on us to make sure all was good. All the appliances worked as expected, although we had some issues in operating the oven (no user manual). I would suggest to Dmitriy to leave a printed copy of the user manuals for the oven and the dishwasher. We had a wonderful time hiking during the day and enjoying dinner among friends hanging out at the house. We'll be back for sure!

Property as described. There are a few single and triple steps inside and outside in case you have difficulty with stairs. Plenty of ants, but it’s that time of year.

We had a great stay! This location is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. The house is updated, clean, and has everything you need for your stay! The only thing I would change if I was being SUPER picky, is a tv in the room with the fireplace. A Christmas movie by the fire is the only thing that could have made our stay any more perfect than it already was.

This place has everything you need for a great vacation. You can tell the owners take pride in there home and have everything their guests require. The living room with the wall of windows is very comfortable and relaxing. Owner also checked in a few times to make sure everything was perfect. I will be booking again.

The house is very large. There was more than enough room for me, my husband and dogs. We had to work from home for the week and the wifi was super fast which was amazing. The house is just five minutes away from the cute downtown area so getting into town was a breeze. We really enjoyed a view of the mountains and our daily walks with our pups.
