The pictures on the listing are a good depiction of the rental. The only thing in the bedroom not captured in the photos was a small closet where coats could be stored. This rental is an excellent choice if you need to stay in Westchester County and I would consider staying here again on future visits to the area. Be aware that there are a few pets on the premises, both dogs and a cat. The pets are very friendly - but thought I would mention in case someone has allergies. The only (minor) issues during the stay were: 1) Internet TV could be spotty at times - there were several occasions where it would get stuck in a "loading" or buffering phase. Most of the time, it would clear up in 5 or 10 minutes after refreshing or turning the TV off / on....but there was one Saturday night where it was stuck in "loading" for 2 hours. Wasn't sure if it was a bandwidth issue on the premises or a bandwidth issue in the neighborhood or section of the city from the ISP. 2) no coffee - only reason why I mention this is that I had emailed before the trip and asked if coffee was going to be available and the answer was yes. During check-in, Peter spotted that he was actually out of coffee and said that he was going to pick some up at the store but he forgot. Note, we didn't keep asking about it (I personally am not a big coffee drinker anyway, but the family member that I was traveling with was).

Wonderful Victorian house with upgraded finishes, fixtures, and appliances. Common areas include a gourmet kitchen, dining room, den, and laundry. Host is generous and personable, Perfect choice for those who want a change from the sameness of hotels.
