Highly recommend, clean, easy to get too. Mountain views paved road and in great community. The house itself was amazing. We had everything we needed and more. Everything was very clean. The view was amazing. The porch was fabulous. We really loved how pet friendly they are. I highly recommend this house. We will be back.

This was a lovely property. It's was perfect for our family of 3. The scenery was beautiful and we had the pleasure of seeing the elk in the neighborhood. The host was wonderful with communication and willing to help you out. I know we will go back and stay here again in the future.

Such a helpful host! He answered my questions and offered many suggestions about making the most of a Maggie Valley Christmas even before we ever committed to booking. Check-in information was so thorough that we had absolutely zero questions during our stay. Check-out was a breeze without all those weird chores that some *other* hosts make you do. The cabin was lovely and cozy and exactly what we needed to experience Christmas in the mountains.

Enjoyed the easy access in all weather. You will have to share the roads with elk in the evenings. There was a herd of 8 or 9 we saw nightly. Very neat. Home is clean and well maintained. Plenty of areas to walk the dogs. Neighbors were also friendly.

The house itself was amazing. We had everything we needed and more. Everything was very clean. The view was beautiful. We enjoyed hearing the rooster crow in the mornings. The porch was fabulous. I highly recommend this house. We will be back again.

Cabin is lovely, clean, well stocked and very nice location. It is far enough off the main strip to provide privacy and quiet. Brandon was wonderful to work with.

We liked the accessibility of the cabin. Everything was very clean and comfortable. All the amenities worked nicely. Also as mentioned in the description there really are elk in the neighborhood. We saw two at dusk one evening. One morning we saw eight or nine wandering down the street. Magnificent sight! Would definitely return.

We loved the cabin, the neighborhood and the wildlife! The cabin was very clean and neat. Everything was there or availabile and the manager checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed. I’ll recommend this cabin to family, friends and everyone. Will definitely stay again!!

The cabin was more than expected! Clean home, comfortable beds and wonderful location. We enjoyed the cool mornings and evenings sitting on the porch. We also enjoyed walking the paved road through the development. We saw Elk in the field near the cabin. We ate at several excellent restaurants but we also enjoyed cooking breakfast and grilling steaks for dinner. We look forward to staying at the cabin again in the near future.

We have vacationed in Maggie Valley for many years. Staying at the Smoky Bear Cabin has been the best experience. Sitting on the front porch in the evening and watching the elk graze in the meadow was absolutely amazing.

My family and I had a great stay here! It was clean and cozy, central to everything, and we had a treat of viewing elk every afternoon! The town had a 4th of July celebration and fireworks. Although we went into town for this, we could see them from the cabin! The host was very responsive and welcoming. We would definitely stay again!

The cabin and location were perfect for our getaway to relax and refresh! From the booking process to the check-out process Brandon was great! He checked in with us daily to ensure we had everything we needed. And we did have everything we needed. The cabin is very clean and very well stocked. The location was off the main highway, yet easy to get to. We were able to walk each day and on the final morning the beautiful elk made an appearance. We are already making plans to return.

My second time staying here…it’s a perfect location and all the amenities we need. Located in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to great views, activities and food. We ended the stay with breakfast at The Buttered Biscuit…don’t miss it and ice cream from both the local candy shop and the gift shop at Lake Junaluska:-) it was a relaxed few days…we’ll be back!

We loved this cabin so much in 2022 that we returned this year. The cabin is very clean, the beds and furniture are so comfortable, and the location is so nice. We love walking the neighborhood in the mornings and evenings. Communication with the owner was great before and during our stay. He checked in with us everyday to make sure all was well. The location is really great. We headed in a different direction everyday. Love going on hikes and searching for waterfalls. The only thing that we didn’t like about our stay was that it was not long enough!! We plan to correct that in the future. Thanks, Brandon, for making it possible.
