Naples is a unique city, to experience by walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage. Naples is at the origin of a peculiar culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Walking through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, you will cross its millenary history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Cathedral of Naples and the Maschio Angioino. If there is a symbolic place of Naples, this is Piazza del Plebiscito, today a symbol of the new "Neapolitan Renaissance" where tourists come to admire its grandeur and its two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Palazzo Reale. Today it is also possible to visit "the underground city", or the so-called "womb of Naples", used by the Neapolitans as a refuge during the bombings, where tourists can cross the Greco-Roman aqueduct, the air-raid shelters and finally visit the Museum of the War. Not to be missed is San Severo Chapel which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works that can be seen in Naples, the result of the talent of Giuseppe Sanmartino. Napoli Central station is less than 3 km from the apartment, while Naples Capodichino airport is easily reachable in 30 minutes by car.

The apartment itself is large and very clean. It's in a neighbourhood that's close to a well-stocked grocery shop, many cafes and public transit which is nice. However, it is an extremely noisy area. It was generally quiet between 2:30am and 4:00am. During most hours, you'll hear shouting, loud conversations and a lot of traffic.
We also found that the apartment is a bit under-equipped. We picked up a bottle of wine and then realized there was no corkscrew and no wine glasses. The property manager told us that for a corkscrew we could try a neighbour or buy one ourselves. No cutting knives either nor coffee maker. Not the end of the world but surprising for people who choose an apartment instead of a hotel room for their stay.

I have good time and I would recommend it. Just need a corkscrew and a toaster. Apartment on level one and lift was not available but we managed with the bags, also would be good to identify better the location of the appartment. Very good welcoming with maps with indications and very friendly staff.
