We had a wonderful time in this cozy cabin! The staff and campgrounds were extremely accommodating. We had everything we needed for cooking meals, relaxing and toiletries. The views are breath taking and allow for such a relaxing stay. We will be back!

Well when we got there it after 3 pm and check in was supposed to be at 3 PM, but when we went inside to check in the lady told us to come back at 4:30 PM, will we do not live here we just traveled 7 Hour drive and had nowhere to go so we had to sit in the parking lot and wait til cabin was ready . The cabin itself was clean and wonderful, we love this place for the most part . The swimming pool was open but was very green and had bugs and stuff floating all in it , and yes this property is on a lake, but when I was swimming in the lake, I got bit by a fish so of course, after that, I did not want to swim in the lake anymore and when I called to make sure the pool was open, they told me yes it was open and ready well to me an open and ready pool. Does that mean a green pool with stuff floating in it , but besides the pool and the check in situation this property was great

Overall we loved this cabin, it was exactly what we needed, private, quiet and clean. It just lacked a few small things… (1) it needed at least one bedside table; (2) one or two small lamps in the living room and bedroom (only lighting was bright recessed lighting) no dimmer light options. (3) more places to hang towels - some hooks on the bedroom wall maybe? and (4) Were in our 30s so possibly a generational difference but we would have preferred WiFi over direct TV, I would have been mortified if my child was there reading the TV guide late at night (lots of adult channels). I can’t give it less than 5 stars because we had a great time anyway, location was pretty.

Overall this is a very nice cabin. The location is great and the porch is large enough to be useful for grilling and sitting outside for a morning cup of coffee. I could go on saying everything that is good about it, which there are plenty of good things, but I will touch on what we found to be most annoying.
1. The Bathroom doors. They are sliding doors and whoever designed the latching mechanism for these needs to be beaten. The indentation for sliding the door also contains a button of sort to release the latch. The indention is so shallow that you cannot grip it to slide the door. When you push the button the door pushes away from you, catches and does not want to slide. These handles / latches need to be replaced. If you are in a rush to get in, good luck.
2. Hard Bed / Pillows. The bed is not comfortable to use. It is hard as are the pillow. The bed was also hot and we found they had what appeared to be a thermal blanket between the comforter and sheet. We removed this and it helped a little. Still the bed is hot and it may be something they have between the matress and fitted sheet. Not sure. We have deciced in the future, since we do love staying here, to bring our own pillows and our Bedjet with fitted sheet.
3. Cleaning. We have stayed at two different tiny cabins. Both times we found the cleaning to be subpar, finding food debris on floor and in fridge. We found it humorous that there was an envelope to leave a tip if cleaning was exceptional.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The house and property were clean, beautiful and cozy. We stayed a couples nights and wanted to stay more and the property manager was very attentive and easy to get a hold of. They even were able to let us have one more night at the last minute! Great hosts, amazing stay!
