Great location for both lake & access to the lovely historical center of Castiglione del Lago . It is all uphill so be prepared.

This place is an absolute recommendation for a few reasons. It is not only hosted by the two most kind italian couple you will ever meet, they will make sure your stay will be provided with warmth and kindness and everything you will further need. We adopted them as our italian grandparents because they were so kind and helpfull. The place has everything you need: airconditioning, fridge, small kitchen, it has a pool and every morning you het fresh fruit, “dolci” from the local bakery and homemade cappuccino. The studio’s/apartments get somewhat cleaned everyday. Its at walking distance from the lake where you can dine, swim. You also go uphill for the sweet romantic city center. There are many little restaurants and bars to go to. Overall: we lovee our stay and will definitely come back one day!

Heartwarmingly friendly couple who run the place.
Room spacious with slightly dated atmosphere.
Clean and efficiently furnished though. Great bathroom, looks new.
Large bed but a bit hardish, depending on what you are used to.
The pool was a great delight! Also the lake is just two blocks away, including the very pleasant lakeside Pescatore Cafe. To reach the central street of the village walk up the hill for about 10 minutes (through the olive grove)

Our hosts, Ivanella and Sergio, gave us such a warm welcome and were exceedingly kind, helpful and generous during our stay. Breakfast was delicious - different kinds of rolls, home-made cake with home-grown peaches, yogurt, fruit juice, grapes, melon, cheese, salami, tea and coffee. The studio room had everything we required (including a small but well-equipped kitchen), the bed was large and comfortable and we could sit inside or outside our room. We also enjoyed the lovely swimming pool and the use of 2 bikes! We could not have asked for more. Thank you again, Ivanella and Sergio.

Very clean, nice location and lovely owners. Swimming pool was great, breakfast really good and just a short walk to the lake or city centre.
