This was the perfect place for me and my 2 sisters!
Each one of us had her own room AND her own bathroom.
Coffee on the deck overlooking the Arkansas River was the perfect way to start each day.

This is such a nice home. We appreciated that we could comfortably relax together in the open living space. Each bedroom suited our needs perfectly. I chose the upper bedroom for the the spacious sitting area where I could enjoy the early mornings. My adult son had the other upper bedroom with the balcony overlooking the river because it had a desk. My niece and her husband loved the lower bedroom for the king size bed and balcony. We also loved eating dinner out on the main floor balcony overlooking the river. The location was great for access to downtown Salida, and we also took a drive to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, as well as the lovely Buena Vista.

This was the nicest property we have ever stayed at. They provided every amenity you could ask for. Kitchen was well stocked, didn't need to buy anything but food! Being right on the river and a short walk from downtown was amazing! We would book this again in a minute! Property was clean and beds were very comfortable! Fishing was also great! Overall, a great experience, can't wait to go back!!!!

My husband and I stayed at this property in the summer with our son and nephew (both on break from college). It is as beautiful, clean, and comfortable as advertised, with a well-stocked kitchen and other high-end features, including a smart TV, luxury furnishings, and linens. The best bonus is the 3 balconies directly over the river, and the privacy that 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms offers. Being situated within walking distance from town, with hiking trails in close proximity, it was also very convenient. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this exceptional condo (the first time was over Christmas with skiing as an objective), and we all enjoyed white-water kayaking this time around. We will definitely look forward to returning to this serene vacation spot in the future!

This was easily one of the coolest vrbos we have stayed at! The location was great and we walked almost everywhere! It was so peaceful to start each day along the river as well. The property manager was super kind and accommodating for our group! 10/10 Would definitely recommend staying here!

The property was clean, luxurious and exactly what was described. Very nice to have 3 balconies overlooking the Arkansas river. Every one of our family members had their own privacy and bathroom. The convenience of walking to downtown Salida was a bonus. We never got in the car. I would highly recommend this property. Many thanks. Pat

As an early Mother’s Day present, I took my mom to Salida to enjoy a variety of activities. The condo is central to hiking/biking/shopping/dining. A lot is walkable and we also ventured further to enjoy the hot springs, ghost town, and hiking a short drive away. We had everything we needed at the condo. It was very comfortable and the river views from multiple decks were delightful. The condo complex also has an easy to access recycling and trash station, which was a nice surprise since we normally pack recycling to take home.

We had an amazing stay! The house was extremely clean & seemed brand new, well taken care of, fully stocked, beautiful views of the river.
The balconies we relaxed while enjoying the view of the river and mountains. We also enjoyed when there was activity in the river, we watched dogs retrieving balls, fly fishing and ducks swimming. There was plenty of space for everyone in our group of six. The location is quite convenient, walking distance to restaurants and shops and 20 minutes from Monarch Mountain.

We loved everything about this place. It was very well appointed and super clean. The location is incredible, easy walking distance to all that Salida has to offer. The views from the decks were great. It also felt very spacious inside, we were able to spread out and really rest.

This was the perfect spot for a long girls' weekend. Great kitchen, plenty of comfy seating, light and bright with great views of the river. Weather was terrific in early February -- we had coffee on the porch overlooking the river, then happy hour in the kitchen/living area. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well-equipped. Gorgeous decor. Just a few blocks to the downtown action and a perfect launching spot for skiing near Monarch, Marshall Pass and Mt. Princeton/St Elmo (followed by a soak in the hot springs). I give it a 10+ and will definitely reserve again!

We had such an amazing time wanted to stay longer. So inviting, walk to town, you can listen to the river from all three bedrooms, lots of privacy, love the garage and the views from the decks . Slept like a baby. We went skiing at Monarch so close and walked to town afterwards and had dinner. Wish we would have brought our bikes our favorite trails are right there. We love the trail called chicken dinner. Salida is amazing with all the cute restaurants and live music! So close to the hot springs too. Just a perfect stay. Thank you It was lovely!!!

Needed to extend our stay at the Last minute and Wendy was at work and still managed to help and get it changed for us. I am very grateful after three nights in the mountains it was great to get in a day early. The property is in an excellent location, parking could be difficult if you have more than one vehicle in the party and the units were all occupied. It is a 3-5 minute walk at the most to town along the river or street, it is a gorgeous location. House is clean and has great amenities and great information in the folder in the house.
WENDY WAS FANTASTIC.
Thank you.
