Great sized accommodation, really nicely presented and well equipped. Great location in Ambleside, around a 15 minute walk to lake. A little home from home. Private courtyard garden is a bonus. We will definitely return.

We liked everything! The only thing to note is accessibility if you have very young children or are disabled or elderly. Bit of an incline to get to the property steps which are also pretty steep and narrow. As noted by others the parking is a bit tight but it's still a plus that parking is provided.

It was a nice living room and bedroom a good size. Kitchen well equipped. Location in the centre of Ambleside

Very steep steps to get to the property. This was difficult for an elderly person. The property smelt a little musty. Lack of “red bags” for refuse.

Great location & parking.

Dishwasher leaked so we didn’t use it. Unfortunately the property does have a damp issue too.

The location in the heart of Ambleside couldn’t have been better, and the car parking space once discovered is perfect (Follow the instructions and park outside the Temperance Bar and run up the steps opposite). The courtyard is fully enclosed and perfect for a dog to be contained in when you are not out walking. Everything else you need is provided.

I can’t remember seeing a TV that small except for one connected to a PC or laptop. Who cares though when you have everything else around the town and local area.

Rusty tin opener

Great central location in Ambleside; comfortable with a simple layout and pleasant decor.

Tin opener rusted and doesn’t work. Damp in one bedroom. Parking tricky but not so bad once you get the hang of it.
