Nestled within the beautiful blue ridge mountains, our large family home sits on over 3 acres with views to the surrounding mountains/Mt. Pisgah. We can't wait to host you in your own private 850SF guest cottage which sits adjacent to our home, but is a completely private and separate dwelling unit. This entire guest suite is your private 1 King bedroom oasis with additional sleeping for 2-3 in the family room. You have your own entrance to come and go as you please, plus plenty of parking. Check in is by code. No interaction is needed. Set on 3.3 acres of gently sloping grassy land, boasting amazing mountain views to Mt. Pisgah. Conveniently located within 10 mins of West Asheville, 20 mins to downtown AVL and Biltmore, 30 Mins to AVL airport. 10 mins to I-40, 10 mins to I-26, large parking area

From the point of check in this sweet little cottage was amazing. It was pristine! The views were absolutely amazing. Minutes to everything from antiques, restaurants, the art scene it was awesome. Thank you Angela for such a perfect experience. I would definitely book again. The kitchen was a plus.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! The bed was very comfortable and the view was phenomenal! Loved that they have smart TVs and the lemon coffee biscuits were a sweet treat. Snow covered mountain tops were a great bonus!

This was an absolutely wonderful place for all the things Asheville and Western North Carolina has to offer. Well appointed, convenient location, comfortable and great views. We could tell that time and care had been put into this listing and it showed. Not just for making it a VRBO, but our reservation as toys and supplies for a young family were plentiful. Would definitely recommend for those that are doing Asheville, Biltmore or any of the National Parks!

Great Cottage...super clean! So much better than staying in a hotel for our 4 day trip! Very spacious and everything feels brand new. We didn't need it but Angela even has a baby bed & things for a little one. We would definitely book this one again!

The property the home the owner, the entire experience was perfect. The small things that matter. The coffee, the cookies, the layout of the home, the towels, the pillows, everything was taken care of with lots of love. The perfect night provided by the perfect host. Who actually shipped my favorite sweatshirt that I left in the dryer. I even drove off forgetting my bag with a burnt pizza I had in my hand to throw out. The host let me know by laughing at my burnt pizza instead of being upset that I left in her driveway. Just perfect.

We booked this property for our anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased. Location was great and the views of God's creation were amazing! Cleanliness was outstanding. Amazing sums up this property! So relaxing. Peaceful, quiet, yet close to all the things you need. The view looks like a painting. The property is beautiful. We were ready to bring the bathroom home with. Will definitely be stealing some decorating ideas. We needed batteries for the tv remote and Angela had them there in a flash. Do yourself a favor and book this property!

Our stay was wonderful. The pictures truly don't do it justice. Sitting at the fire pit under a canopy of oaks, we watched the clouds roll over an incredible view of the mountains, with the sunset peaking through. A mother deer with 2 fawns walked across the field, stopping to graze and stomp at us. The furnishings inside the cottage we're very nice and the beds and pillows comfortable. The design inside had so much character and texture but not overstated. We really loved the simple elegance and would absolutely stay again.

This was an adorable property. Very clean and upgraded appliances. Everything we needed! Host was quick to help with any questions. Beautiful area and views of mountains in the perfect distance to hikes and downtown Asheville as well as being easy to find. Perfect for our girls trip of 3! Highly recommend :)

We really enjoyed our mother/daughter weekend at the Cardinal Cottage. It wasn’t super fancy but it was just perfect. It was clean and comfortable and fully stocked. The view was. Ice and it was located in a great spot, only 17-20 minutes from Asheville. We’d definitely stay here again!
