Welcome to the Mallard Manor! This homey VRBO is just a short stroll to restaurants, breweries, coffee shops & boutiques- it is one of the closest Airbnbs to Main St in Boerne! It is located next door to one of Boerne's most iconic restaurants & breweries, The Dodging Duck. Enjoy great food, live music, drinks & explore all that Boerne has to offer! Want to stay in & relax? Pour a glass of wine or a cup of coffee & watch your favorite shows, sports or movies on the 65'' flatscreen. The Cibolo Creek park / trail which is located directly across the street from the house is OPEN! It went under a major renovation over the last 6+ months and turned out great! Perfect area to walk your dog, run the trails or relax & read your favorite book. Fishing is allowed, but is catch & release (bring your own rod & tackle). Are you bringing your fur babies on vacation? Now they'll have a fenced in area to roam around! I just installed a little dog run on the side of the house in the yard, so now your pup will have a little room to let out energy as well as do their business. Please pick up after your dog after they do their business :) Also, while using the dog run, guests must supervise their dog at all times. Please do not leave your dog in the area unattended. My sister and i enjoyed our time here! We ate at Peggy on the Green and a family owned cafe the Hungry Horse. Both within walking distance. Heard good things about the bar and grille next door just didn't have time. Surprisingly quiet as well. There is some traffic noise but nothing that interrupted anything we were doing! Caleb was great and responded to my three questions in a very timely and courteous way! I would stay again!

So close to downtown Boerne and a good place to spend a weekend in town for a wedding! Google maps tried to take us to the house behind the bnb, but it really is the house right next to the Dodging Duck.

We always enjoy our time in Boerne. Our stay at Mallard Manor was great. To be honest, I was looking forward to the morning walks by the Cibolo Creek but it was closed off at that time.

Lovely little getaway. The home is clean and comfy. The outside traffic is pretty loud but white noise from my phone drowned it out.
The location is super convenient to walking to the river and restaurants. As mentioned in other reviews, the beds were amazingly comfortable!

The house was as described and a little more. It is a well kept, clean and enjoyable option to a hotel. Host provided more than could be expected including drinks and snacks. The location is prefect for our family get togethers in town and many more options. The restaurant across the street is a bonus and the live music shuts down at 930pm which was an initial concern. We will be back to this location and will ot even look for something else.

Good location and value if you’re looking for a .5 -.75 mile walk to Main Street Boerne. The accommodations were nice; however, simple to an era gone past. We liked the spot,

The property is in a great location. Close to all the shops and restaurants in Boerne, within walking distance to most. The park across the street is very nice - took a walk and jog on the trail every day. The ducks are fun to watch. The house was very clean. It is an older home and I didn't expect to have all the modern ammenities. It worked for us for a few days. The only thing to know if you rent this home is the noise is loud from the street. It is a main road through Boerne. Traffic noise starts at 6 am during the week. For a short trip, the noise was not that big of a deal. Thanks to the owner for being so responsive when the wi-fi went out for a short time. It was fixed quickly.

The property is very conveniently located to downtown- breweries, coffee, decent selection of restaurants and shopping. There is a charming park across the street with ducks and wading birds and a walking trail along the river. House was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.
