We enjoyed staying in this house. It had all needed amenities, conditioner was working good. We used washer and dryer, but brought our own detergent. It was nice to have dishwasher as well. Network was pretty week, it was almost impossible to work or stay on conference calls. But the positive thing was having smart TV with kids staff on it, Youtube, Netflix etc. I would recommend this house for families with kids.

Nice location. 1min drive to beach and on the way to Yosemite. Karin was super nice and responsive. We really appreciated the flexibility. The house was older as mentioned by others but the upstairs (incl the kitchen) was remodeled. We were happy all cooking supplies and pots and pans were available. Overall for the price it was a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this house, it is 25min from the north entrance to Yosemite. We had planned to stay three nights but upon arriving realized the north entrance to Yosemite was closed due to snow. The owner was very kind in giving us a partial refund as we needed to quickly book a hotel closer to an open entrance. Before staying anywhere we recommended checking that the park entrance is open. The beds were comfortable, the deck was very nice. We had several deer grazing in the yard when we got up to head to the park. We would stay here again!

We had a fantastic, relaxing stay here over Memorial Day weekend. The house is a little older but with some upgrades/renovations. Overall it was very comfortable and welcoming. The house was for the most part clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are nice and water pressure is decent. Weather was a little warm this weekend but the first floor of the house stayed very cool the whole time. The living room and kitchen on the 2nd floor did get warm but the in-room a/c unit cooled down that space pretty quickly. Communication with the property manager was perfect. She provided clear check in and check out instructions and promptly answered all our inquires leading up to the trip. Originally we planned to do a day trip to Yosemite but the most direct route to the park is still closed for the season, and so we decided not to do the long detour to the park but instead stayed local. Turns out there is plenty to do in this little community Pine Mountain Lake / Groveland. We enjoyed the beaches (one is a few minutes walking distance from the house), fishing for trout in the lake, and even played a round at Pine Mountain Lake Golf Course, which is a beautiful course and only 5 min drive from this house. We also did a short 20 min driving trip to Rainbow Pool. If you are into hiking and waterfalls and can't get to Yosemite, Carlon Falls is also relatively close by. All in all we had a wonderful stay at this property and in this little community.

We will return to this location and house when we visit our daughter again! It was perfect and we would love to be able to visit in the summer and take more advantage of the lake access. It was perfect and communication with the hosts was fantastic - always responded quickly and were super helpful! You won't be let down.

This property is well priced. For the price you are going to get an older property, but great location. Be careful on the outside steps as they are very rickety, and the balcony was as well. But we enjoyed sitting out there away from the edge. We stayed in the summer and it was very hot! We were happy we brought fans as one bedroom has no screen so you can’t open window. It does stay hot! The window AC isn’t enough to cool down the whole place, but if you are out most of the day it shouldn’t be a problem. Likewise staying when it’s not too hot wouldn’t be an issue. All in all would stay again!

Karen was very welcoming and accommodating! Our only concern was it felt a little unclean in the bathrooms. I think regular bath mats could help, as you can toss them in the wash. Instead they had welcome mats in there that seem difficult to clean and definitely aren’t great for showers. Keep in mind wifi is slow and can be spotty but luckily we didn’t really need it. The AC unit helped cool the upstairs down a little but mostly having windows open in the evenings made the difference. We didn’t want to waste electricity and leave the AC on while gone during the day. Overall we were pretty satisfied! Thank you Karen!

Overall we had a very nice time at this house! You can tell the Spillanes are gradually fixing up things and the new kitchen is beautiful as are the bathrooms. The location is nice with a huge oak tree next to the patio and stargazing was great for my son who brought his telescope

The house was neat and clean, with everything just as described in the listing. Only complaint would be that the a/c in the living room wasn’t nearly enough to keep the upstairs bedrooms cool at all, and the fans did little to help (although our visit was in the middle of quite the heat wave). Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable stay for our family and a very nice little community.

The house is very run down and dingy. We ended up checking out a day early and staying with family nearby to get a hot shower and a comfy bed. Best move we could’ve made.

Cute and comfortable family cabin in a great location. Walking distance to the little beach on the lake, a short drive to town for groceries and an easy drive to Yosemite and many other nearby hiking trails. We would stay here again.
