I paid for my stay fully thru hotels.com rewards points. La Quinta argued they are unable to see that the room was paid for, so they charged me for the room. I was double charged.
I book the majority of my hotels.com. I highly recommend you book direct or find another hotel to stay at.

The hotel is new and smells so good. The beds were comfy, the room was clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Nice and new.
The room I got was ADA. Not sure why. But the curtain on the shower was too short. Lots of water would spill towards toilet area. Slipped

Every door slammed loudly and we could hear kids running.
The beds hurt our backs, needs a pillow top on the mattress or something.
There was no where to hang our bath towels, so we just threw them on the floor every day.

The lady at the front desk was over the top helpful when I could not get the computer to work in the business center. She kindly offered for me to email her and she would print my work! It saves me a huge hassle!!! Then I locked myself out of my room. She never stopped smiling at me. And helped me quickly get back into my room. Def will go back if I’m ever in Del Rio again.
And holy moly there are so many law enforcement officers in this town! Kinda made me feel like I was in real Mexico! 😬😬hotel is great! Just an observation 😁

This hotel is always great, comfortable and in a great location.. unfortunately the floor and carpet were dirty I told the front desk about it thinking they would correct the issue, but they didn't. Otherwise I would've given them 5 stars.. they just took note of it and didn't fix the issue. But everything else was great. Always comfortable.

New hotel so I loved it and the room was very cozy and lots of space.
The only issue I had was the Cleaning lady opening my door at 9am without knocking and then again at 1045 just before I was to vacate the room. I didn't line that at all.

1st time staying here. Normally stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Outstanding hotel. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Only negative, is they did not clean the room like they were supposed to.

Beautiful Hotel… The 2 girls at the front desk always had a smile … very welcoming ! I will stay here again because of the Great Staff!!! New Hotel, Great Pool are with Grills… Games& Snack bar available … super clean … Best Place in town .

When we checked in we weren't told the pool was closed. We ended up going to the creek near by and that was fun actually but wanted to come back and go swimming at the hotel but couldn't.. had made a reservation the week before and the hotel wouldn't give me a refund even though we didn't stay there. Other than the miscommunication and not wanting to give me a refund last week, the housekeeping are doing a great job. Front desk not so much.If the front desk would've told us the pool was closed at check in we would've stayed at a different hotel where pool was open..

Comfortable bed, beautiful new building. The complementary breakfast spread was huge! The young lady receptionist recommended somewhere to eat nearby and the food was great. We enjoyed our stay.

AC is too noisy and can't be turned off. I measured an average of 81 decibels with my phone app, which is quite high for a place to sleep.
