Nestled in Princeville, this charming condo for $321 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Air Conditioned, Vaulted Ceilings, and Full of Aloha! Nestled in the cozy and quiet Hale Moi complex in Princeville, our spacious one-bedroom condo is perfect to serve as your home base as you explore the awe-inspiring beauty of the North Shore (and beyond) of Kauai. The condo is less than a 5 minute walk to multiple beaches and the newly opened restaurants and spa at the 1Hotel Hanalei. The View The view from our condo is a spectacular showcase of the unspoiled beauty of Kauai. Off the lanai to the right, take in a breathtaking view of Makana Mountain, the oceanside mountain peak made famous as Bali Hai in the movie South Pacific. Enjoy sunsets right on the lanai as the evening sky comes alive with a kaleidoscope of tropical color. Looking directly off the lanai (or from the inside of the studio) is a lush, tropical greenbelt (alive with birds chirping in the morning) and the Namolokama mountain range. After rain showers, you can see one, two, or even dozens of cascading waterfalls. Experience it all without leaving your condo! The Accommodations Our condo is a corner, second-floor unit (up only 6 steps) with vaulted ceilings, a 25-foot-long lanai, beach gear and everything to make your stay cozy and comfortable. One of the best things about our complex, Hale Moi, is it is small and low-key - our building has just four condos. The condo has a king bed, queen bed in the loft, full kitchen, and washer/dryer. It has a Serta plush top mattress, high end linen sheets (including comforters), a 32' flat panel smart TV, free WiFi, and all kitchen accessories. It is light and airy with windows galore, breathtaking views and has a tremendous nature-y feel to it. A/C & Heat The suite has a quiet and efficient AC and heating system - It never hurts to have A/C, as Kauai is guaranteed to get hot and humid in summer, but also at any time of year. And if you're coming in winter, it's nice to have heat - overnight lows on Kauai can dip near 60 degrees. The Location Our condo is special for many reasons and a major one is location. Hale Moi is in one of the only areas in Princeville where you have beach access within walking distance. Two beaches are within a ten minute walk, with the closest being Pu'u Po'a beach in front of the newly renovated 1 Hotel. Right outside the front door is the scenic jog/walk/bike path that runs through Princeville, and across the street is a famous sunset viewing spot (Voted one of the 10 ten sunset viewing locations by Traveler Magazine), which is also great for whale watching if you’re with us during the season (Nov-April). Gorgeous Hanalei Bay is a 10 minute drive and for hikers, several trails are within reach, including the Okolehao trail in Hanalei and the infamous Kalalau Trail. If golf is your thing, the Makai golf course (recently renovated) is a half-mile away. For an easy dinner out, Hideaways Pizza Pub is a 5 minute walk. Princeville Center is a 5 minute drive and has a grocery store, coffee shop, yoga studios, shopping, and more. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo in Princeville. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood in a golf course community. Location was great. Mountain view from the Lanai was spectacular. Interior of condo was a little dated but it was very comfortable. Kitchen had all that we needed. Bed was comfortable and AC was great but was really only needed for a hour or two in the afternoon once we got home for our day's adventures. Recommend putting this on your list of possibilities for your upcoming trip to the north end of Kauai.

This condo is everything that you need for the perfect stay on the North Shore! It was very clean, well stocked, and the beach gear was useful. The view was amazing of the mountains and waterfalls. The birds were a delight to listen to with their beautiful songs. The hosts were quick to respond and friendly. Will definitely be planning another stay here in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is PERFECT. It had everything we needed and the ac worked great. You will never miss a sunset being so close to Sunset Outlook. Daniel was a great host. He was easy to communicate with and very quick to respond to any questions. And there wasn’t a long chore list for check out (which is rare these days!). We also enjoyed all of the beach gear. Would highly recommend this unit and host.

We loved this property! It was walkable to a beautiful tucked away beach, you could see the moutains and waterfall from the lanai, and was just a great location for our adventures! Everything was nice and clean, organized, and the list of recommendations was so helpful! Would definitely stay here again if we get back to the island!! Mahalo!

Great stay here. Bed was quite comfortable, place was very clean, and so nice to wake up to hear birds in the trees that overlook the hills. Also a really nice location, close to Hanalei and short drive to several beaches.

Loved the area and the condo! The balcony was great to sit out on and watch the birds and rainbows! We were able to walk to Queens Bath which was amazing ( slippery at the start) but worth it. The sunrise lookout was also great and we went for lunch at Hanelei Bay Resort too. We stayed four nights which was perfect as we had stayed four nights in Poipu. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed here for the 2nd half of our honeymoon and loved it! It was close to the beach and a beautiful lookout perfect for watching the sunset. It was very clean and well stocked. We were grateful for the washer and dryer! Communication with the host was excellent! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Perfectly situated, great spot to use. The lofted portion has very steep stairs, so be mindful in assigning beds, but overall a beautiful stay closely located near Hanalei Bay, Tunnels Beach, Anini Beach, and plenty of other great spots. Nice bathroom with fully stocked shower products, beach and bath towels, extra bed linen, and great shower, especially to get the sand off at the end of the day! Bathroom door doesn’t lock (not a big deal). The kitchen had every appliance and item you could need, including washer/dryer for particularly muddy clothes from hiking, plus beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and cooler bag available for use. The balcony was a perfect spot to start our mornings- incredibly gorgeous views of the trees! Parking- one thing to be mindful is that you’re actually sharing the spot with another unit (208A and 208B). We always managed to either use 208, a free permit spot, or under the lamppost, so it wasn’t a problem and we were always a few feet from the front entrance. Overall, we had a really wonderful time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient spot in Princeville!

Our stay was perfect. The loft was easy to find, had clean accommodations, it was stocked with everything needed, and had stunning views. The owner is clearly knowledgeable, cares for the environment, and encourages guests to do the same. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and restaurants. Would absolutely book again when we return to Kauai!

Very clean and overall wonderful stay. The umbrella was broken, so that made our beach day not quite as great as we planned. We loved the birds - it was almost like being in a tropical rainforest! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

This condo was very comfortable and had all that we needed. Good internet and AC. Stocked kitchen and beach gear (some was broken on arrival, but still useful!). The lanai with mountain views was great for meals. Walking distance to a great snorkeling beach. Parking was a bit hit or miss despite supposedly having a dedicated parking spot. We’d definitely stay here again!

The condo is in a perfect location and the views from the lanai are incredible! We loved that we were in close proximity to all that the north shore has to offer & the beautiful walking trails around the golf course. Daniel was prompt in his responses and communication. Overall, the condo was neat & presentable, however, there was visible dust on ceiling fans, doors, etc. which was unfortunate as I am highly sensitive to dust. A good deep cleaning of the condo would make it the perfect place to stay.

This condo was perfectly located in Princeville. Quick walk down the street takes you to two different beaches (one requires a steep cliff side climb up and down but totally worth it); access to miles of paved walking paths around the golf courses; and a perfect sunset viewing spot looking over Hanalei Bay. The recent addition of air conditioning is a nice extra not always found in Kaua’i condos but not necessary when you open up the windows in both sides of the condo to catch the trade winds. We enjoyed our week’s stay. Daniel was very responsive to any questions we had. We’d love to co e back soon!

Echoing many other reviews, Daniel’s home was a solid 10/10 stay. The unit had everything we needed and more (towels, beach gear, snorkels, etc). The view of the mountains from the back porch is absolutely unreal. The location is top notch— walking distance to Queens Bath, Hideaway Beach, and a short 10min car ride to Hanalei Bay and Ha’ena State Park. Daniel was a great host and responded quickly when I had questions on the day of our check in. Would definitely stay there again!!

Beautiful view from unit. Peaceful area. Walking distance to beach and close to Queens Bath. Easy to get to beaches and hiking on the north shore. Unit had everything we needed in terms of kitchen supplies, etc. Unit decor could be updated.
