Loved how we were able to separate the teens from the younger kids. The levels that the bedrooms were at worked out for us.

Property had a perfect location for us. Marathon is a great central spot to stay whioe exoloring all the keys have to offer! We loved that the pool was partially shaded throughout most of the day and the gulf waters at the boat dock were full of life! Morning coffee sitting out there on the dock was tranquil and serene. The rooftop sun deck was so nice. The kids loved showering off up there after the pool and beach. And the lower veranda with the tiki bar and bbq was a fun bonus too! Would definitely stay here again

We stayed with our daughters and everyone had plenty of space. House was very clean and comfortable. Great “middle” location for traveling throughout the Keys - our trip involved activities from Key Largo down to Key West.

We were so pleased with this rental. The property was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The owner and property manager responded very quickly. We will definitely rent here again.

My husband and I had a long-needed vacation at this wonderful location. The location is very convenient to shopping, dining and the sites. The house is filled with many thoughtful amenities like sun shades, bar on bottom level, shower on the top deck, hammock chairs. I could go on and on. The neighborhood is also very well maintained. The pool was always crystal clear and the oceanside area clean and inviting. We can't wait to come back.

This place was an excellent value for the price…everything you need including a nice little pool and fishing pier where my spouse was happy to catch some snapper. Napped on the hammock balcony and nice sunset view up top. Plenty of towels and supplies, cute tasteful decor, gated community. We loved it!

Quiet and refreshing area. The home was in great condition with everything we could need for the week. The property manager replied almost instantly to any questions we had.

Other than the initial plumbing issues with 2 of the toilets, that were seen to quickly and both working by Monday afternoon, all was great!! Really appreciated all the amenities - washer/dryer, all the cleaning products, lots of linens, comfortable beds/pillows, hammocks, sunshades, grill, snorkel gear (although we didn’t use), 2 bikes, lots of TV options, everything needed to cook (although some more silverware would be ideal, we like to eat, LOL), a working ice maker in the fridge was perfect, so much good to say about this unless you aren’t a fan of stairs - it took me all week to say “going upstairs to kitchen or downstairs to bedroom” 😂, love the easy keypad to enter. Would definitely stay here again.

The AC that provides air conditioning to the living room, kitchen, dining room, one bedroom, one bathroom, and the stairway was broken (refrigerant leak) on 6 of the 8 days we were in the condo. We also had to deal with an AC repairman coming to the condo 3 times while were there to try to keep it running…but that failed each time. VACASA did provide a refund of some money to us but we felt not nearly enough for not having any AC in the main part of the condo for 75% of the days we were there. I spend a lot of time with texting and phone calls to deal with this but in the end, the AC was still broken when we checked out. Trying to find out who was actually the VACASA person who made the decision to compensate us (which was not enough in my opinion) was impossible. We will likely never use VACASA again! Our group has been traveling to the Florida Keys for 10 years and have never had such a bad, unresolved problem before. Several of the VACASA employees I did talk to on the phone appeared to be generally working diligently to fix the AC problem but unfortunately, their efforts did not get it fixed.

We did use the text message option once somewhere there and heard from them within about 30 minutes. I was incredibly disappointed with multiple messages just being ignored. Additionally, many household necessities are just provided as a starter amount so be prepared to buy your own toilet paper, paper towel, and laundry detergent.

Beautiful get-a-way! Relaxing and close to resturants, fishing, biking and tons of other fun things to do!

This is a lovely, well appointed and nicely decorated home in a great central location in Marathon. Several different outdoor living spaces make for easily spreading out in the sun or the shade. Lots of sleeping space for the family or friends with comfy beds. Minutes to grocery store, liquor store, shopping and the nicest beach in the keys!! Very enjoyable stay!

My family of 4 vacationed here recently and we loved this home. It was furnished very well, stocked with plenty of towels and had several amenities. I loved the little touches like the porch swing and single swinging hammock. The rooftop view is gorgeous. My kids thoroughly enjoyed everything about this home. The fishing and snorkeling right off of the dock was our favorite. There was very easy access to the pool and the dock. The sun shades were a nice touch too! The sea life is abundant. We saw many fish and even a manatee! We rented a boat and loved that we could pick it up and simply dock it right there, quick access to the house. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from. 10/10 would recommend. We can't wait to vacation at this rental again!

My husband and I went down to the Keys for a weeks vacation. We stayed in unit seven and found it to be very spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable, and the area was very quiet and peaceful. We loved the roof top deck, the view was amazing! There was plenty of things to do on Marathon if you wanted and lots of restaurants to choose from. There were a couple of gyms not far from the unit for those who wanted to get some exercise. Being in Marathon was a perfect location since it is right in the middle. We drove to Key Largo one day and to Key West on another day. You can stay busy sightseeing or just sit back and have total relaxation. I already want to go back and definitely recommend Unit 7!!

This is a awesome place to stay. Very quiet, clean and close to everything. We stayed a week at #7 and we had no problems with anything. House is very comfortable, spacious and clean. My husband loved the roof top deck spent most mornings and evenings up there. Being in Marathon was great because we could be at either end of the keys within an hour or hour and a half. We didn't use the pool but it was very convenient to get too and it was warm water. The docks were right there also. All furniture and beds were comfortable. A/C worked great and we needed it. Evenings were nice and cool and could set on any of the decks or down in the parking area and enjoy the peace and quiet. We didn't use the kitchen very much but it had everything we needed. Being in a gated community was great too felt as peace and secure. We had absolutely no complaints was actually more than what we expected. Thank you owners for providing a home away from home. Definitely want to go back and YES I would choose this place again.

My wife and I spent our week-long honeymoon at this property, and we found the overall experience to be just average. The unit itself was pretty nice, though we had some maintenance issues right after we arrived. When I tried to open the sliding door to the balcony of the bedroom, its handle came right off! Also, many of the sleeves of the blinds were broken, so we couldn't operate the blinds. The management fixed the door handle within a day, but didn't fix the blinds while we were there. My main reservation about the experience was the management itself. As an example, for some of the e-mails that I sent to the manager, I received no response. Even when she responded to the e-mails, half my questions were not answered. This made the process quite unpleasant. In another example, on the day of the checkout, her husband came over 20min before the checkout deadline to remind us about the checkout time. Again, this was rather unprofessional and inhospitable, as we felt as though they were rushing us out. For the money they are charging for the place, we expected better management.

We had the most amazing vacation in the Keys and really enjoyed your home. We could not have asked for a better place to call home during our visit to the Keys. There was plenty of room for our family of 7 and we just can't say enough as to how clean, well kept and centrally located this townhome is. The location was great as we could travel to the other islands easily. Our day trip to Key West was a lot of fun, we had lunch at Margaritaville and took in all the tourist sites. Tom and Ginny were so helpful with the information they provided on a boat rental and their favorite restaurants. We look forward to when we can visit the Keys again.

We stayed in this unit recently and REALLY enjoyed our stay. It is very close to shopping and activities for the whole family. We were across the street from the Marathon Lady and had a great time fishing! The Pool and Dock area were great fun for the kids to fish and observe the water and sea life. The Unit itself is well furnished with everything you could need! The kids enjoyed the internet and TV set up after long days outdoors. We felt really safe in this unit and were in close proximity to Key West and many many other activities in the area. I would highly recommend this unit for all ages to get the flavor of the Keys and ife there.

This property was in a great location in marathon for our family trip. It was new with stainless steel appliances, front loading washer/dryer, flat screen tv's in every room and nice view from roof top deck. Quiet and gated community. It had everything we needed to get started for our vacation. It was clean and well maintained. Publix and kmart near by to get things for our week. And if you don't feel like cooking there are good restaurants in marathon. La nina was an awesome cuban restaurant! Our family had a wonderful time ans plan on returning soon. Recommend it to everyone and can't stop talking about it!

We just returned from our first family trip to Marathon and I must say we loved everything about it! The rental property is very centrally located and everything (grocery stores, gas stations, etc.) were within a few minutes drive from the property. It is a gated community that was very quite during our stay. We were very impressed with the property from the minute we walked in. The house is brand new but it already has a homey feel to it. The house was clean, well maintained, and all of basic ammenities were provided (soap, towels, toilet paper, etc.) On top of that there was brand new HDTV in the living area with satelitte TV. It was a perfect place to lounge when you were trying to get out of the Florida sun for a while. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone but it ideal for families that want to "home base" during their trip to the keys. Going out all the time gets very expensive there and hotel rooms get cramped so this was the perfect way to stay for an extended period of time!

We really enjoyed staying at this home, it had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. The roof top deck was perfect for relaxing and catching the rays. We loved fishing from the dock and seeing the turtles and Manatee. The colors of the fish were amazing. The location is center to everything in Marathon, Sombrero Beach, Dolphin Research Center and all our favorite restaurants. The rental agent Ginny was very helpful, and professional. The home was tastefully furnished, and very clean. I would recommend this property to everyone, you won't be disappointed.

This spring my extended family of 8 stayed at this property for 9 days. This was our 5th spring in a row staying in Marathon, so to say we like the town is an understatment - we love it! Marathon is a great place to stay for all ages. My young kids love the beach, dolphin research center, Sea Turtle hospital and swimming! As adults, we have a great time trying the local restaurants and just relaxing. This was our first time staying at this location and there were pros and cons. Pros: Centrally located in Marathon New We had a few issues (like the TV didn't work during March Madness) and Ginny was quick and responsive to our concerns. The Master Bedroom has a huge walk-in closet that my girls loved to play in. Cons: Unimpressive views. You could see the ocean from the roof top deck, however the sunsets were obstructed by the air conditioning units and power lines. Very Cheaply Furnished. From the bedding to the silverware everything was the most basic inexpensive furnishings you could find. Also, the bed in the master is a queen although it was advertised as a king. I also think the bed in the other bedroom on the 2nd floor is a full not a queen. There were 8 of us staying and exactly 8 towels, so each night I did laundry. We also had to purchase beach towels, as none were provided. Along those lines, after staying in a number of properties from VRBO this property provided the least - no handsoap, toilet paper, kleenex, dishwasher soap, etc.. It all had to be purchased on arrival, which isn't a big deal since Publix is just down the road, but it doesn't give you that warm welcoming feeling! The pool is VERY small. It wasn't a big deal since we were usually alone using it, however at one point a unit next to the pool asked us to quiet down at 1:30 pm in the afternoon as my father was plaing in the pool with my 4 year old and 7 year old daughters. Strange. After staying in Marathon many times this was our least favorite location largely because of the finishes and it just didn't have the beachy feel you come to the Keys for. We will definitely return to Marathon, but will stick with properties with nicer views and amenities.
