Knockout contemporary apartment in heart of World Famous Siesta Key. The most sought after Siesta Dreams unit. Remodeled with Alfresco dining, furnished 2nd floor deck, and vaulted ceilings and wall-to-wall sliding doors in the living area. This is a southernmost unit set only 600 feet from the water so its bathed in sunshine and sea-breezes all day. Just a 1-minute walk to Best Beaches shopping Dining and Entertainment on Island. The perfect solution to enjoying an island getaway without giving up comfort. The Location - This will be “easy” just like vacations are supposed to be. It's just a one-block walk to all the best of the Siesta Village - fresh oysters, seafood, tropical drinks, ice cream, entertainment, and even gourmet donuts. The beaches here are the widest on the island, have panoramic views of the gulf to the North-West-and-South, and are the top spot in North America for viewing sunsets. The water is shallow clear and calm with white quartz-sand tide-pools perfect for sleeping drinking or playing. You can swim or “often” wade to Sand Dollar Island, a naturally occurring white sand cay popular with dolphin's sand-dollars and “occasionally” giant-conch. This is the only spot on Siesta where you can go from the water to lunch or dinner and back to the sand without putting on your shirt and shoes. Beach Gear - Correction for Air-b-n-b listings. We provide beach towels and beach chairs at every location, umbrellas and carts at most locations, and do not provide "snorkeling gear" at any locations. Sorry for the confusion. Snorkeling gear can be rented or purchased nearby. Support Post Booking - I understand vacation time is precious and I will make sure you get the most out of it. My number is the only contact information you need. My units are at the top attractions on the island. Cars are never required, but you will have private parking near the unit. Check-in any day of the week at any time using your private door-code. No requirement ever at checkout. Free early check-in when possible. Never hidden fees or solicitations. Every unit including this one is available for instant booking. When you book with me you get a fully accessible and knowledgeable owner/host and reliable advice from a G-approved local expert. I can recommend the best spot for fishing or fresh fish, Michigan or Ohio State games, romantic-dinners marriage-proposals or singles, Eco-tourism, family friendly activities, or safe ways to lose your kids when you need a break. For the less extroverted, every booking comes with an unabashed guidebook detailing the property, all my favorite things to do in the area, and never any advertisements or solicitations. This is the only rental offering of its kind on the key. Events - Many of our properties are wonderful locations for gatherings. Gatherings involving third party vendors or visitors outside your occupancy limit "might" be permitted, but only with prior authorization. Event fees will apply including location fees of between $1000 and $3000 and guest fees of $19 per person in excess of your occupancy limit. Out of consideration for all our travelers, hosting an event requires booking every unit at your property location. Terms - Payments are 50% refundable when canceled at least 60 days before arrival. Payments are not refundable when canceled less than 60 days before arrival. Events or gatherings involving outside guests are only allowed with prior approval from the management. Guest agrees to hold the Property Manager and Owner harmless from any liability for injuries while on vacation. *If you prefer insured bookings, we recommend providers Generali and Rental Guardian for Trip-Protection coverage.

The property was conveniently located just down from siesta key village. The place is very clean. The large front deck is nice , beds and couches comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. This unit is part of a duplex or triplex?, the walls and ceilings are thin so you can hear footsteps from the other units at times. The sliding glass doors are also very thin as you can easily hear the street noise and we thought several times that they were open. The doors throughout could benefit from a little WD or new tracks. If you’re a light sleeper this place probably isn’t for you. Otherwise you cannot beat the location, steps from the beach and restaurants.

Love that it was less than a five minute walk to the beach, A short walk to the main strip with restaurants, shopping, nightlife with live music. We loved our stay and didn’t want to come home. Dan took great care of us and was there if we needed anything, answered all of our questions. We will definitely be back!

Location is perfect for walking to the village for eating , drinking , shopping , bar hopping . The unit was very cleaning and well stocked with plenty of pool towels, bath towels & access to W/D downstairs. We only had 1 issue- the cork screw was broken , but they had a replacement for us first thing the next morning . There are beach chairs, beach wagon , & umbrella. We flew here so we didn't have a cooler- but the siesta market had styrofoam coolers for $12 which served to be a great investment for our 3 days. The water wasn't ideal- green, lots of seaweed , & a less than ideal smell. We checked out Turtle Beach which was better - plus there's paddle boarding / kayak rentals on the bayside . The next day we went to Lido Key and they water perfect . Plus the Ritz has a Tiki Bar on the beach - we grabbed some cocktails and a yummy lunch! Our first time to Siesta Key , but hopefully the first of many !

We loved our stay. This a great place to stay at Siesta key. It is conveniently placed and in walking distance to the village and to the beach. Beautiful interior, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The host also provided ample information for check-in and to make the most of our stay.

Dan was awesome in communicating! The condo is literally steps from the gorgeous gulf and from the siesta village! Highly recommend to not have to drive everywhere or a two minute drive! Will be back. :)

Amazing location! A few minutes walk to the beach and walkable to downtown area with restaurants, coffee, bars. Super clean, plenty of towels for beach and shower, plus beach toys, wagon, umbrella, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and great communication with host. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo is spacious & comfortable. The air conditioner cools the space nicely. Very comfy beds. We really enjoyed how convenient the condo is to Siesta Key Village where we could walk to dinner, breakfast or lunch very easily. The beach entry is a 3 minute walk across the street. The beach is clean, not overly crowded & quiet. If you want to be able to access main stream stores like Five Below, etc, it’s a 10 minute drive. Sliding doors to the patio are hard to open but once you’re on the deck, it’s nice to people watch.

Gertrude Rentals was easy to work with from the start. We booked a last-minute visit to Siesta Key in June 2023. The communication we received from Dan was detailed and thorough. Any questions I had were answered quickly and completely. The beautifully decorated accommodations were comfortable, clean and in new condition. My top five favorite things were: • Quality furnishings – it was obvious that the owner spent time acquiring the contents of this home. Even the pillows on the bed were super-comfortable! • Deck Furniture – we spent a lot of time on the deck, early in the morning and in the evening. It was a bonus to have ample AND comfortable seating to enjoy the surroundings. • Location, location, location! – this residence is literally across the street from the closest beach access. I did not count the steps, but you can be there in minutes. AND…this place is in walking distance from a plethora of shops and restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere! • Supplies – this is first place I have rented that came with beach chairs, umbrellas and a beach cart! Another bonus! • Welcome touch – after a 9-hour drive to get to this destination, it was an appreciated treat to get a welcome basket of snacks and bevvys upon our arrival – Thank you! If we return to Siesta Key in the future, I will definitely look up Gertrude Rentals! Beautiful property! Extremely clean! Beds were very comfy! Two minute walk to the Village where there are plenty of restaurants, a rental spot for bikes, etc and a local grocery store for any cooking needs! Siesta Key beach access is right across the street! Beach chairs, towels, etc are all provided! So easy to pop over for sunset and then walk to dinner! Staff extremely helpful! Will definitely rent again!

We had a great time staying here. The pictures don't do the place justice. It's newly renovated and fantastically comfortable. Super close beach access and all yhe restaurants and shops in Siesta Key Village are super walkable—practically right around the corner. We'll definitely be back.

We loved our stay! The house was clean and easy to be at. It was so close to the town and beach. We loved sitting on the deck people watching. Overall amazing family vacation. Enough room for 5 of us!
