Beautiful stay tucked away in the woods. A minute from Crystal Lake and a few minutes in any direction from beautiful scenery. I messed up the booking short a day and the host was more than accommodating. Would absolutely book again!

We were delighted with this quaint, comfortable, and off-the-beaten-track lodging. It was clean and cozy and we had a wonderful time. There was no indoor table, but we made do and would go back in a heartbeat.

Overall nice house and property. Close enough yet far enough away from northern Michigan things to do. Adults and kids enjoyed. Unsure if post has been updated when review posted. Property was 2 bedroom rather than 3 bedroom. Was plenty of places/beds to lay heads for the 7 of us, however filtered search for 3 bedroom. Hopefully app/host able to update soon so doesn’t catch more people off guard. Was happy with bedding, towels, shower supplies, kitchen appliances and utensils etc etc. Would stay again, just prob with couple less… all and all enjoyed.

Property is NOT 3 bedroom - only 2 bedroom. Pics show the same bedroom twice with different furniture and different descriptions. Property needs many interior repairs and yard/landscape is unkept. During our stay one toliet was not working so we reached out to Erica. She responded that she would take care of it ASAP. However, that was the last we heard from her during our stay. We had 6 adults and one working toilet. Toilet in the master rocks from side to side. Garbage disposal didn't work. Electrical outlet w/no cover in hallway. Shower door in bathroom has a gap which causes water to seep on the floor while showering, causing a slip hazard. Used towels to soak up water. We were only given 8 towels and 3 washcloths for 6 adults/4 day stay. Erica stated that was more than adequate. Be prepared to do laundry or bring your own. The cabin has a portable AC unit in the living room however is not adequate to cool the bedrooms. Bedrooms have small fans but the bedrooms are very warm which made it difficult to sleep. Boat launch closet to the cabin is not usable for pontoons, it may be suitable for smaller boats. Only about 1/4 acre of this property is usable. The rest is overgrown and the majority is down a steep ravine. Nature trail begins at the top of ravine and is very overgrown. Not usable and not safe for children. We have alerted Erica of the issues we found during our stay. We also communicated with VRBO directly.
