Hard to reach the staff on duty . I have call the reception and room service for 20 times no body answer . The service is very slow and disappointed because i have a baby and need fast response from the hotel service . The food at the coffee house also bad tastes

The food was so so.. nasi lemak was salty. room service didn't pick up the call, never answered. I make an order at around 8 pm on 10/4 but until 930 pm don't get the food. My husband went to the counter to check but no one knows about that. we call from hp and they say the food was on the way. so frustrated. The day before, after check in and tell the counter to make reservations for iftar and the counter ask to go to restaurant to make reservations but when we were there, the restaurant staff requested us to make a call for reservations. 6 times call nobody answered. why ask we all to go to restaurant if we have to make a call. nonsense. I already pm and tell about food order so slow but they never respond. It was a bad experience in Bertam resort.

We upgraded to Club Executive room. It stated that it has a sofa bed, but turned out it was just a sofa. So, we cannot get our child to sleep there. We asked for extra bed, but they said the policy does not allow for extra bed in the club executive room. We were appauled. Why would we pay for a club executive room if we cannot use the space provided to get an extra bed?. The whole experience was utterly bad. Phone line is also not available after 12am, of which we had to go down to reception to ask for extra blankets. It was a bad experience overall and definitely not worth the money we paid for.

Great receptionist. The staff very friendly and helpful. Nice location, walking distance to many restaurant. The rooms were very nice and cozy.

The attraction of this hotel is the waterpark next door.

The services. they claim its a 5 ⭐️ hotel. 5 star accommodation/ facilities should allign with 5 star of services too. Most of my stays in hotel/ resort was 5star chosen. i knew the difference. Kindly train your staff educately on how to serve better and be good hotelier. Otherwise you wont get regular/repetitive customer.

Actually the bathroom toilets pipes is leaking so since i arrived i’m very tired that night and feelinh let it be.

The swimming pool is very clean and the water is crystal clear. Very good filtration and pumping system I suppose. The staffs are ALL (those we encountered) friendly and helpful. The swimming pool again large enough to support high number of visitors.

None, at least those that reduce my rating. Though, some thought for me, is to get the swimming pool area, especially on the wall side filled in with lights during the late evening. The night view will be stunning (ehem for the photoshoot purpose)

Very beautiful place to stay, the room was spacious 😍. Im gonna be back here. 24Hrs Reception service as I do late check in last time. Good for family as beside the resort is the Water theme park

I don't like that my access card is always problem.. In my stay there for 3 nights, I have to reset and go to reception 5 times to reset the access card.. I don't like that I requested that my room and my parents room side by side but did not manage to get it although when I arrive there wasn't any crowd yet.. Plus the reception a bit rude.. And I don't like that being a 5 star, the drinking water is minimum 2 bottles, additional bottle would be rm10/bottle.. It's 5 star, this is embarrassing for their standard.. Breakfast, have to dine outside because the cafeteria is full.. What standard is that.. Btw, this is my observations, there is still room to improve.. Also not forgetting that the lobby has some short circuit problem during my stay which kinda annoying it keeps tripping from time to time..

The hospitality of the staff. The big pool normally I wouldn't want to swim but this time got the opportunity to swim with my husband and daughter. Will definitely come again.

Bertam itself is a quiet town. Not many eatery to sample Penang food.

Room size was perfect. All the staff were super nice and attentive especially Hasna and her Haziza and Ridzuan. All off them were super helpful and joyful to talk to. They gave great recommendations for near by eateries and ideas for our next trip to langkawi.

The position of the air-conditioner in the room was in the wrong place. We struggled to fall asleep at night as the AC was blowing the cold air near our feet and not the face, so we had to sleep upside down on the bed. Could do with more fruit selections in the breakfast bar.

Easy access from Highway, ample of carpark spaces, quiet location.

The temp of water from shower head kept on changing from warm to cold and from cold to hot, totally not able to adjust.
