During the summer you can spend your time around the outdoor fireplace sharing stories or just reveling in rustic outdoors. With bike and walking paths nearby, and just a quick jaunt on foot to Lake Michigan (home does not sit directly on Lake Michigan) this cottage has everything you'll need. Take a leisurely walk towards Douglas Beach Park and stop at the well-known Douglas Root Beer Barrel and enjoy root beer on tap and specialty hot dogs.
