About this house rental

Located in Nevada City, this lovely house for $376 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Our home is right at the top of Broad St., a short walk down to bars, restaurants, coffee shops etc. You can also go for a beautiful hike along the Deer Creek on the Tribute Trail, right from our door. The house has three bedrooms, one on the main floor, and two upstairs. The living room and back porch are great for hosting and enjoying quality time. Small well trained pets are allowed after discussion. The space Our beautiful historic Victorian home was build in 1890, it’s very well taken care of and preserved. Gorgeous, bright and spacious main living area with furnished big back porch. Fully equipped kitchen with French door into the front yard with seating areas and blossoming flowers. Beautiful spacious master bedroom with king size bed and temperpedic mattress is on ground level. Next to it is full bath with shower. Upstairs we have two beautiful queen size bedrooms with temperpedic mattresses and one full bath with shower and bath tub. Plenty of closet space. Extra bedding. We take pride of high quality luxury sheets and hotel quality pillows. Soft and firm available. The entire house is very bright with plenty of sunshine. Live plants. Nest thermostat and cooling system. Alexa speaker for music. Best location ever in the heart of historic neighborhood attached to down town. Trail system the Tribute trail few minutes from the house. We also have lovely and respectful neighbors. Guest access You have access to entire main house, very beautiful front yard with furniture and decorative garden, back porch with dining table and day bed, driveway. You can also visit the backyard. You will receive door code and instructions from us the day of checking in. Other things to note We have another unit on the property with separate entrance with a very quiet tenant living in. She is a young woman who is very respectful, works most of the day. You wouldn’t probably even see her and will not hear her at all. She doesn’t park on the property. She walks down the driveway to the other side of the house to his unit. She does not have any access to the main house. We have a great relationship with her. She has lived there a long time.

The home was amazing and was perfect for my bridesmaids and I to stay at the night before my wedding! It was clean, cute, and had a very cozy vibe! I would definitely stay here again!

The house was spotless. Comfortable beds, and furniture. We walked to restaurants and shops which was such a bonus since parking can be a challenge in town. We missed having a microwave, but not a TV. There was intermittent problems with the hot water. The only suggestion we would make is to tack down the area rug in the living room, the curled up corners are a potential tripping hazard.

We had a chance to meet the owner, and she was lovely. Very charming stay, we only wish we booked more nights. The location was perfect. All of us were very comfortable.

We were in town for a wedding, and stayed at this little gem. Loved the location to town, we enjoyed local coffee shop, farmers market, and the open art studios. What a beautiful home! Thank you for sharing it with us for the weekend.

This historic home is large and comfortable. Its location is a big plus since it is located on the edge of town and an easy walk to shops and restaurants in Nevada City. Close to hiking trails too. It was nice to find many spices and condiments available so we didn't have to buy any for our visit. A bit disappointed that there was no TV which was not explained in the listing. Also, there is no microwave (also not explained in the listing.) This made it a bit inconvenient to warm up coffee and leftovers from restaurants. But that aside, the house was welcoming and spacious and we enjoyed our visit very much. The owner was a dream to deal with. We had a minor issue and he responded immediately.

Our family converged for a local wedding. Three couples and a baby were very comfortable. Cute courtyard and louvered porch. We enjoyed our stay very much!

My family and I had a lovely Labor Day weekend here. The house was incredibly clean with lots of space for our group (and a well-stocked kitchen which made cooking together so easy). The location really can't be beat - easy walking distance to town and a short drive to the Yuba river and many trailheads. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming, beautiful, decently stocked. Host was accommodating about an early check in. Had some hiccups with broken bed frames and missing hot water, hopefully fixed for the next guests.

Such a beautiful home! The beds were so comfortable! We walked to everthing and enjoyed our stay. As a special treat we watched two blue birds build their nest together in the tree outside the dinning room window. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. We took their recomendation for a great spot to have lunch and it was perfect!

This was a great place for us to stay with our friends and 2 year old daughter. Close to downtown Nevada City, toys for my daughter to play with and easy to communicate with the owner. Would stay here again

The house is lovely. Very roomy, beds were comfortable. Simply decorated with personal touches. Fresh cut flowers in the entry were sweet. Peaceful view from the back deck. Clean and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again.

Had an amazing time at the house, it was beautiful and clean. We did find some cleaning supplies we believe the cleaning ladies left behind but that is not trouble at all. The only downside I can think of is that because it is an old Victorian house (which is in part what makes it so beautiful and cozy) the walls and floors are thin, and unfortunately after a few games of twister (we had a larger person in our group) the downstairs tenant knocked on the ceiling. Overall it was a wonderful stay though.
